Cristina and William hugs tightly in balcony, they enjoy the moment which one of the happiest days for both of them, Cristina ask William what if they just spend time in the hotel room, William answer while caress her hair "I'm sorry I have appointment with my friend tonight, we supposed to meet before, but I canceled it because I want to bought you a ring", "okay then, I'll take bath first, you come with me?", "okay, I'll join you, but I'll order room service first for our dinner", after get dinner, they prepare to get dress, Cristina wear long black tube dress, and William wears black tuxedo, both of them really looks perfect together while walk to ceremonial place.
Just after they enter the room, Burke approach them, "Cristina, I miss you" while hug her, then he greet William, Cristina notice that William don't like how Burke treat her, in fact that they engaged now, "Burke, I want to inform you that right now, dr William is my fiancé" burke can't hide his shocked but soon he congratulate him "you lucky guy, Cristina is one of amazing woman I have ever meet, please take care of her, I know that I don't deserve talk to you like this, after what I have done to her, but I really want to see her happy". "I'll take care of her dr Burke, thank you", then someone greet William, he is William friend that he told before, he a neurosurgeon from Mass Gen, Cristina tell William that she will hang out with Burke, she notice that his friend has something important to discuss with William, William nod, he know Cristina also miss hang out with cardiothoracic surgeon, besides he believe that Burke is a nice guy.
"So how long you been engaged with him?" Burke can't help his curiosity. "He just proposed me, few hours ago, you the first one know, that we get engaged" , "I don't know, how to respond it, I'm happy that you happy, but little part of me, still hope that I'll be the man makes you happy", Cristina laughing hear Burke word, "You're kidding right?, because we will never work out", Burke also laughing "yeah, we will not, by the way, how's your baby?, you never contact me since last time we meet", "I give birth three month ago, I have baby boy, his name is Nathan", then she take her phone to show burke his photo, " he so adorable, he has your hair and your eyes, but his nose and lips definitely from his father, is William the father?", Cristina answer with "he will be his father".
While they busy chatting, Catherine Avery greet them, "dr Yang, dr Burke, so glad have both of you here", Cristina give her hug, "glad to meet you ms Avery, how Jackson and dr Webber?", "they fine dr Yang, how London?", "London also fine", Burke give her a question looks, but she ignore it, then Catherine leave them because she has to greet lot of doctor that night, "why you have to lied with her?", "I don't want they know that I'm in Los Angles now", "they, who?" . "yeah, Meredith and others" Burke still don't understand, when he want to ask more, her phone ring, she pick up, it's her mother, when she say hello, her phone off, she running out battery, she worry whether something happen with Nathan, she tell burke that she will go her room to get her spare battery, and come back later.
Cristina walk to William, she ask for key rooms because she want to change battery, and she will back soon, Cristina wait for elevator, when elevator open, lot of people come out, she waiting all of them to get out, she enter the elevator, then she see Meredith, Derek, Calli pass by in front of her before elevator doors close, she feel her heart stop beating.
William busy chatting with his fellow neurosurgeon, few of them offer him to work together for they research, they know that William really reliable surgeon, and devoted for new research, they don't know that right now, his priority change, he check his watch, It's been twenty minute, but he didn't see Cristina, he search for Burke in lot of doctor in that room, he saw him chat with some man, he ask Burke whether he see Cristina, burke tell him, he didn't see her since she went to her room before, William start feel worry, he excuse himself from Burke because he want to check her to their room, but Burke stop him and said that he also want to out from the room, they get elevator together, burke heading to bar in first floor, William heading to his room.
Derek looking for his neurosurgeon fellow, dr Lewis, from Mass Gen, he looking for him to get information about dr Jason William, his brain map project from president, stuck with some obstacle that he can't solve, he need help, dr William research will help him a lot, so he really desperate to meet this doctor. After get his number from dr Lewis, Derek call him, but he don't pick up.
Meredith and Calli just wandering around in that room, they don't really know anybody in there, they stand there until the MC announce Harper Avery winner that year is general surgeon from Hopkins, then finally they bump into Ms Catherine Avery, Meredith and Calli give her warm greeting, "so nice to see both of you, I also meet dr Cristina Yang with dr Burke before", "what? You meet dr Yang in here before?, but I didn't see her, are you sure she is Cristina Yang?" Meredith ask flustered, Catherine little upset with her respond, "I know I'm old, but I still recognize people well, especially amazing doctor like her" then she just leave them.
Meredith and Calli scan all people on that room, but they found nothing, they also didn't find burke, then Meredith drag Calli to receptionist, she miss her person so much, she ask the receptionist about guess Cristina yang, but no room registered with that name, then Calli ask Preston Burke, "oh mr Burke stay in room 2906" both of them said thank you.
Meredith knock the door, but no answer, she don't give up, because she believed that her best friend in that room, she keep knock the door, until Burke open the door, he was shirtless, Meredith just pass through the rooms, "where is she?" , "who?" , " Cristina", "she is not here", Meredith Ignore him, she walk to his bed, she can see someone hiding under the blanket, she open it, but it's not Cristina, "I told you she is not here, so please out from this room?", "but Catherine Avery said that she with you, where is she, please tell me Burke, I really need to meet her" Meredith plead, her tears almost fall from her eyes, "I don't know, Torres please take dr grey from my room", then he slam his door in front of them. actually Burke feel liltle bit guilty treating them like that, in addition seeing how desperate meredith looking for Cristina, but he know that Cristina won't them to find her, so he take Cristina side for this time.
Cristina feet shaking after see Derek, Meredith and Calli, when entered her room, Cristina start to cry, she though she already over them, but she is not, she try to calm herself but she can't, she miss Meredith so much, but she also not sure whether she bear to meet her, and most of all she remember Owen, she know that what she did is unfair for him, he give her the most wonderful thing in this world a son, but she can't meet him anymore because, that exactly what he ask her to walk out from his life forever, she scare that Meredith found her, then tell Owen about Nathan, then take Nathan from her life, Cristina try to calm herself with call her mother, she change the battery then call her, she ask about Nathan, "what happen with you voice?, are crying Cristina?, Nathan is fine", "I'm fine mom" she speak while sobbing, "I miss Nathan so much, can I see him, mom? "she hung up, then she video call her". After she see Nathan sleep peacefully on his box, Cristina feel calm.
William enter the room, seeing him, Cristina start to cry again, Cristina run to hug him, she let of her tears in his chest, William hug her back while caress her hair, "what happen Cristina?", "I'm afraid to lose Nathan and you", "you not going to lose me, tell me what actually happened", "I just see my best friend, for last eight years before I meet you, she my only family for that time, I even barely get in touch with my mother, then in last year, everything changes, she saw me as monster and competitor, she hated me so much". Cristina then pull herself from William, she put her hand along his jaw line, "I'll tell you everything about me, if after hear this you ask to break our relationship, I can accept that", William take Cristina hand from his cheek, then pull her to sit in the bed, so they can talk face to face,
