Chapter 5
Captured Yet Again
As the day moved on in what was like snail slow mo, evil awaited in the shadows for the right moment to come out and attack. Well maybe not attack, but capture and return to base would be the correct term to use. As I said in the last chapter or if I haven't I will now that the shadowy figure hanging around the school is none other then William. Yes Xana sent him out to retrieve Ulrich and bring him/her back to Lyoko. There's just the need to use the element of surprise or really sneak into the shadows then snatch Ulrich.
However, there were to many civilians around, and the Lyoko gang wouldn't let him/her out of their sights after what happened yesterday. If William was going to plan the perfect sneak attack or capture, she/he had to get Ulrich alone. Now the trick to do that was to have Ulrich go somewhere that only he/she was allowed to go to. Nobody else, just him/her, and then with a quick swipe off his/her feet it's back to the factory.
Only how was William going to do it? As he watched from the shadows he carefully observed the Lyoko group hanging by the hot coco machine talking.
"Jeremy I'm really getting uncomfortable with this situation. Can't you do anything to change me back, or at least figure out why I have to be Williams bride?" Ulrich or rather Emily asked him.
"I'm doing the best I can Ul-Emily, but it's not like restarting a computer. It'll take careful observing, scanning, and reading before I find anything." Jeremy explained.
"Great that's all I needed to hear." Ulrich said annoyed.
"It's going to be okay Ulrich. We'll do everything we can to help change you back." Yum I told him/her holding his/her hand.
Ulrich smiles a little bit, but even her support wasn't helping him/her feel much better. How could he/her feel better knowing that this transformation happened for a reason that was only half solved.
"Look on the bright side buddy." Odd said.
"And that is?" Ulrich asked.
"With us guarding you, there's no way Xana or William can get you." Odd replied.
"Wow Odd, that was actually really nice of you to say." Yumi said.
"You really do care about your friend Huh?" Aelita said.
"Of course I do! I always care about my friends!" Odd replied pointing to himself.
"Yeah half the time, the other half you are eating." Yumi pointed out.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, but I still care." Odd said.
"Anyway, I'll do so more research after class. Then I'll run a few more tests, and hopefully a cure will be discovered." Jeremy explained.
"Well okay, but there better be a cure found soon. Using the bathroom as a girl is one thing, but changing out of a bra is another story. I can't keep doing it, it's just to weird." Ulrich explained looking at him/herself.
"I wish I knew why William needs a bride, but I'll have to do more research on that as well. Hopefully I can uncover all the answers, and change you back." Jeremy said.
"We still have to be careful though. Xana could send William back to Earth to capture you again."
"Which means we'll have to keep a look out for anything suspicious." Yumi pointed out.
"Well that shouldn't be to hard. Not like Xana is going to just go ahead and send a monster, or posses someone right now." Odd explained.
Aw Odd don't jinx it.
Its obvious that something's going to happen.
What that'll be I won't say, but be warned for it'll be unexpected and a big surprise.
As the day went by our heroes our heroes were now in Ms. Herts science class learning about DNA. (Isn't that something?)
Jeremy took many notes thinking maybe something in this lesson would help with turning Ulrich back to normal. Hopefully something in this lecture would help him out, but who knew for sure? At that same moment, Ulrich had to go to the bathroom, Aelita asked to go to the bathroom so she could keep an eye on Ulrich. The pair left for the bathroom unaware that they were being followed.
"I could come in with you Ulrich if you want, or I'll wait outside by the door." Aelita suggested.
"It won't take me to long, so I guess just wait outside." Ulrich replied.
"Alright I'll do that." She replied nodding.
When the girls arrived at the bathroom door, Aelita stood outside while Ulrich went in. Now all seemed to be going normal, but danger was sneaking up on our heroes. A danger that could not be predicted, and though what's to come won't be revealed all that can be said is the capture of Ulrich will be swift and quiet like a ninja.
