William hug Cristina to comfort her on the bed, then his phone ring, he ignore it, but his phone keep ringing, Cristina tell him better to pick the phone, maybe it's important call, then he stand, walk to balcony and answer the phone "hello, who's this?", "hello, dr William, I'am Derek Shepherd, a neurosurgeon". "Oh, I know, I read some of your research", "I'm sorry for bothering you, but I really need your help dr William", "my help?, what I can I do for you dr shepherd?", "I been working in president brain map project, I read your research last years, it will really help this project, I hope we can work together".
"I felt honor for your offering, but I'm sorry, I think I can't help you because, I really busy for next few month, I just have son, and we will getting married soon, besides I also have hospital to run, I'm really sorry dr Shepherd".
"Too bad, because having you will really help this project, but it's okay, I understand your condition, good night dr William", "good night dr Shepherd".
Just after William walk to balcony, Cristina phone ring, it's burke, "hello, burke, what happen?", "Meredith with Calli just break through my room looking for you", "what? Did you say anything to them?", "of course not, I know you won't them to find you", "thank you so much burke, I'm sorry you went through hard time because of me", "it's okay, but you owe me an explanation,", "I know, l'll tell you later, take care burke", "okay, take care Cristina".
William back to the bed, "who just called?", "it's burke, he ask why I'm not coming back on ceremony before", Cristina lied because she don't want talk about Meredith anymore. "who's keep called you before?", "it's a doctor ask for my help for president project, but I turn it down", "why?", William take position on the bed besides her, pull her in his embrace, "we will getting married, and we have Nathan to take care, I used to loved working in new research, but now, you and Nathan the most important for me". He kiss her forehead, Cristina hug him back tightly.
At afternoon they flight depart on LAX, William grips Cristina hand on flight stair, she can't hide her smile, while they walk to take their luggage, Cristina say" Jason, if I'm not fell from the stair a year ago, maybe we will never together", "yeah, how mystery life is, years ago we just stranger, and now, you are my soon to be wife".
Cristina and William walk together to the house, he carried her luggage, Cristina soon take Nathan from baby sitter, "Nathan, mommy miss you so much", she caress his back, and kiss him, William greet Helen, they smiled look how sweet Cristina to her son. Helen ask William to sit, and ask Martha to make him a drink, Cristina take a seat beside him, while carry Nathan.
"Helen, I'm sorry, because I didn't ask your permission before, last night I proposed Cristina", "oh my god, you are engaged", Cristina nod to her with smile, "I'm so happy for both of you, so when you will have your wedding?", "we don't discuss about it yet, but I really hope Cristina move to my house soon". "I'm so happy for you, but I can't deny I'll be sad being far from my grandson", Cristina answer "mom, don't worry, his house just ten minute from here".
William takes Nathan from Cristina after he get lunch, he loved play with him, seeing him smile and laugh brightly, makes everybody fall in love. Cristina escort William to his car, then takes Nathan from him, "I can't wait for us to be family Cristina" he kiss her on the lips while caress Nathan hair before leave.
In next few weeks they busy for preparation the wedding, Helen and Izzie take in charged for everything, Cristina specifically ask them, she don't want a big wedding, while she also busy for moving and arrange all her stuff and Nathan to William house.
And the day is comes, Cristina and William held their wedding in Helen house, the place is so beautiful with arranges of flowers, and only family and close friends attend the ceremony, the marriage officiant and William already waiting for Cristina on the aisle, she look stunning with strap white wedding dress, she walked with Izzie to the aisle, Nathan carried by Helen, the married officiant start the ceremony
"Friends, we have joined here today to share with Jason William and Cristina Yang an important moment in their lives. Their time together, they have seen their love and understanding of each other grow and blossom and now they have decided to live out the rest of their lives as one".
"By the power vested in me by the State of California, I now pronounce you husband and wife, You may now kiss the bride". William kisses Cristina sweetly.
Their wedding ceremony is beautiful and warm, William and Cristina so happy, they finally official being husband and wife, William takes Nathan from Helen, he kiss his cheeks "now, I'll be your daddy Nathan" Cristina smile, then they take family photo together for the first time.
William so happy because from now Cristina will always by his side when he wakes in the morning, he also try his best to be a good father, he didn't need a long time to mastered change Nathan Diaper, put him on the bed, and feed and wash him, if not because his schedule in hospital, he love spending time with him all day long.
They always go to the hospital after Nathan baby sitter comes, so she can take care of him if both of them have tight surgery schedule on hospital, and sometimes they escort Nathan and her to Helen house, when his grandmother miss him.
It's been three months they being family, William already adjust his life perfectly between his job and family, Cristina also start to write her recent surgery, she succeeded operated very difficult case before, but she not in rush to publish it, now she takes her work not like before, she felt really upset when baby sitter tell her about Nathan first crawl, and she missed it, she promises that she will not miss his first step, and his other first later on, so if she didn't have schedule she love spend time in day care while read some medical journal.
If they don't have schedule for surgery, Cristina and William always get lunch together with Nathan in cafeteria, so his baby sitter can take a break, William carried Nathan, Cristina brought his bag, while they walk together to the café, Cristina pager buzz, she tell him that she will go to café after check her patient, William nod, take his bag from her with his other hand, then walk to the café.
After put his bag, and take a seat, he put him on the table, Nathan sit on the table face to him, they playing around, Nathan smile and laughing, he already can say word like dda-da and mma-ma, while they play, someone take a seat in front of him, "hi dr. William, sorry disturbing your wonderful time with your son, I'm Derek shepherd, I been looking for you, in your room, and your secretary tell me to find you in café", William little shock, he takes Nathan to his arm, then hand shake him, "hi, dr. shepherd, I remember you, we have talked before, so what bring you here?" .
Cristina finish check her patient, she walk fast to café, because she know, Nathan is hungry, she can see William talk with someone, but she don't know who, because she only see his back, she just walk to William, kiss him on the lips and takes Nathan from his arm "my baby is hungry, mommy will feeds you soon", "Cristina!" she looks to the source of voice "Derek?".
