After forty minute, William finish discuss with Derek, he feel fascinating with this project, he also glad meet someone who sharing same passion, if he doesn't has surgery in next twenty minutes, maybe he will spend hours talk with Derek, William would like to join the project but he still considered about Cristina and Nathan, he worry to leave them, so he promises to call Derek tomorrow about his decision.

Derek feel relieved that William never ask about Cristina past to him, but William quite surprise when Derek tell him about, it was him that Cristina operated while the shooter put the gun on her head.
Today Derek and William schedule to back home, Derek has flight at four pm, he asked William about his flight "I have annual surgeon meeting tomorrow Derek, I used to pass, but while I'm already here, I have no reason to absent, I'll catch flight at night tomorrow, okay then, see you next two weeks". "okay. take care". Derek goes to airport.
The annual surgeon meeting attend by lot of doctor from all city on country, the meeting end quite late, William worry he will miss his flight, he almost leave his phone after wash his hand on toilet, he thanked a doctor run to him to give his phone back, he soon take a taxi to the airport.
Owen send message to Derek that he will take a day off in DC after attend the annual surgeon meeting, so he ask him whether he can stay in Derek apartment, at first he doubt to give it because he worry of William, then he remember that William has flight at night so he give Owen his apartment password anyway.
Unfortunately because of traffic jam, William really missed his flight, all ticket heading to Los Angles that night also sold out, after take dinner in restaurant near the airport he back to apartment, he was surprised find a stranger in apartment, but then he remember he is the man who help him to return his phone before.
Owen also surprised when William enter the apartment, then he realize that, this doctor must be Derek partner on the brain map project, he apologized "I'm sorry, I'm Derek fellow doctor in hospital, we have meet before in annual surgeon meeting, I have my flight tomorrow, so I ask Derek to stay only for tonight, I hope I don't bother you, I'm dr. Hunt"
