Authors note: Thank you all so much for the kind reviews and the follows and favorites. It's nice to know you like the story. Just a quick chapter before I go to Berlin with school for five days.

Emma hadn't closed her eyes, she almost hadn't even winked since Amelia was born. Her emerald eyes just kept staring at the little baby that was fast asleep, and the baby's mother who was also fast asleep, her mouth hanging open slightly as soft snores left her full lips.
Emma found it absolutely adorable for a reason she did not know.
Amelia had come into the world at exactly 6:58 pm on a chilly December fifth evening. It was now December sixth, 2:04 am and Emma still hadn't left the room, even though her bladder was begging for her to do so. Practically screaming for her to try and find the nearest toilet.
With great annoyance and reluctance, Emma pulled her exhausted and aching body off the chair she had been sitting on. Het footfalls were as quiet as possible and Emma was praying to god she wouldn't wake them.
And when the door was safely shut behind her, Emma allowed herself a happy laugh and a few tears.
...
"You should really go home dear, I can see you're exhausted and that chair can't be comfortable." Regina murmered tiredly as she turned her head to the side so she could look at Emma, who was still sitting in that uncomfortable chair. There were dark eyes under Emma's beautiful green eyes and they resembled neonsigns against her pale skin.
"No, I'm not tired at all." Emma denied, hiding a halfhearted yawn behind the back of her hand, which caused Regina to knowingly smirk at her. God, Emma mused, Regina still wasn't too tired to tease.
"Emma." Regina chuckled softly, slowly moving in a sitting position, leaning against the many pillows that were on the bed. "Please, go home. I can manage alone for a few hours. All I do is sleep anyway." She reasoned. There was worry gnawing at her stomach and Regina couldn't ignore it.
"But you're probably getting discharged this afternoon anyway. I can wait until then, I promise." The blonde said, even though she was tired. But still, she did not want to leave Regina and Amelia. She could wait untill tonight. She would just have to.
With a sigh, and an eyeroll Emma easily caught (but chose not to comment on), Regina moved slightly to the left. She patted the now empty space next to her on the hospitalbed. "Come here you." She said softly and smiled when Emma smirked and got out off her chair.
But the smirk fell when she stood in front of the bed. "Are you sure?" Emma said in an unsure tone. "I don't want to hurt you or something." And she really didn't. In fact, she was about to return to her chair when Regina spoke up again.
"You won't hurt me, dear." Regina reassured, grabbing the blonde's hand and softly squeezing it. Her brown eyes trailed down to the brown boots Emma was wearing. "But do get rid of those boots." She said with a smile.
Emma chuckled. "Yes, Madame Mayor." She answered dutifully as she unzipped the brown leather boots and kicked them off towards a forgotten corner of the hospital room.
Regina turned to lie on her side and Emma had no choice but to spoon the petit woman (not that she minded, because really, there was nothing she liked more than spooning Regina fucking Mills), she carefully wrapped her arms around the brunette's waist and pulled her closer.
Brown and green eyes stared at the sleeping child in the transparant baby bassinet.
Amelia was beautiful, Emma thought with a smile. Whereas Henry looked more like Peter, Amelia was all Regina. From the top of her dark haired head, to the nails on her tiny toes.
"I love you." The words left Emma in a whisper, a whisper that softly tickled Regina's ear.
A watery smile graced the brunette's features as Regina turned in Emma's arms to softly kiss her lips. "I love you too, Emma."
...
"Maybe you could drive a little faster?" Regina sighed from the back seat of the Mercedes. Amelia was safely strapped in the Maxi-Cosi next to Regina. "I'm pretty sure Granny just rode passed us."
"Yeah well, Granny doesn't have a very tiny baby girl in her backseat, does she?" Emma responded, ignoring Regina's request to raise her speed. "If I could go any slower, I would."
"Yes, I have no doubt about that, dear." Regina said in an amused tone as she looked down at the baby again.
"Your momma is being ridiculous." Regina cooed softly, stroking a smooth cheek with her indexfinger.
Emma had to surpress the urge to suddenly step on the break when she heard Regina say 'momma'. She swallowed the lump that had suddenly formed in her throat and ducked away from the rearview mirror to make sure Regina couldn't see the tears that started to cloud her vision.
She was someone's momma. She was Amelia's momma. And she couldn't think of a single thing she wanted more.
...
"What time is Henry getting back?" Emma asked, slowly sitting down on the couch next to the brunette. She held up her arms, silently asking for the baby.
"Tomorrow morning, I already called Katherine." Regina smiled, handing the sleeping baby over.
"I'm guessing Henry wasn't too happy about that." Emma smiled.
"No." Regina's tone was warm, loving. The tone she always used when talking about her son. "He really wants to meet his little sister." Her dark eyes looked at the small baby in Emma's arms.
"I can imagine." Emma sighed, reaching out to stroke a small, slightly tanned hand.
Amelia gurgled, her hand reaching out to grab at Emma's blonde curls.
It caused Emma to softly chuckle. And Regina quickly joined her, leaning towards her and resting her head on the blonde's shoulder.
Amelia's eyes twinkled and she tangled her hand further in the blonde locks.
