Percy had his head in his hands. He had, had his head in his hands for the best part of two hours.

His only thoughts had been, Luke is the lightning thief and Luke is gonna be killed by Zeus, so he doesn't bring Kronas back.

Percy shook his head I can't let this happen, I can't he looked over at his mum; she looked heart broken.

Grover came over to them and led them into the main hall where Luke stood in the middle his hands bound behind his back.

Percy sat down at the foot of his dad's throne and the god of the sea laid a comforting hand on his shoulder.

Zeus pulled out his lightning bolt and Percy gently shrugged his dad's hand off his shoulder making both of his parents look at him worriedly.

Zeus took aim and just as he was about to fire Percy ran in front of Luke and yelled, "Stop!"
