A/N: So, I'm aware there has been some confusion about Maya and Team Free Will. Basically, about two years ago SHIELD noticed some very strange murders happening in a small town. When they sent one of their lower agents out, they were killed. Then they sent Maya. While there she met the Winchesters and later met Cas. She quit SHIELD and became a hunter. However on one of their missions she thought they were killed and went back to join SHIELD. There will be more detail in Hunting with Tiger's Blood. Now, to the chapter!

Maya's POV

I was rocking out in my room to Here's to never growing Up by Avril Lavigne when I heard a knock on my door. I turned off my music and opened my door. There stood none other than Dean, Sam, and Castiel.

"We need to talk." Dean said with a look that sent chills down my spine.

I looked at them for a second before sighing at letting them in,

"What do you want?" I asked hoping the conversation will be quick.

"All we need is an explanation, Maya" Sammy began with a look of confusion and sorrow on his little. "Last time we saw you was two years ago and you a hunter, out friend. Now you're in some top secret government agency and are teamed up with the most popular team of superheroes."

"I couldn't have said it any better myself Sammy. Bye!" I exclaimed trying to get them back out the door.

"Maya… Dean started to scold, but I put my hand up and sighed,

"Ok, I'll give you a BRIEF explanation, k?" They nodded and I began, "So, after I had thought you had died I went to search for my brother. While searching some men in black came up to me and told me they knew where my brother was. Of course, I gave them holy water and all that and they were clean. They took me here to Stark Tower where my brother was and they asked if I was willing to join. I said yes, they trained me. Then Loki attacked New York and they wanted me to help so I did. Now I'm here living with them and well, yeah." I ended looking at them very seriously.

"That's it really?" Dean and Sammy exclaimed almost at the exact times.

"Yeah, I don't know what else to tell you guys, that's how it happened."

"Ok, well we'll see you around I guess." Sammy said as they walked out of the room.

I waited 10 minutes to make sure they were gone and then headed to my bed.

I lifted up my blanket from the bottom off my bead and grabbed the remote that was under there. I pressed the combo- 36668 and unlocked the secret room I have.

I walked in to see Clint, Tasha, Fury, Hill, and Coulson already there waiting for me.

"Nice lie Agent Barton. They bought it." Hill said smiling at me proudly, like I was her science project.

"Thanks." I muttered not looking at my brother, knowing he could read me like an open book.

"Now I need you to get very close to the boys, I need you to find out if they know where he is" Fury commanded sternly knowing I would follow his orders it every last word.

"Yes sir." I quickly said waiting for my permission.

"You may go, Agents." He said and I started to walk out of the room. "You two too." Fury added giving Tasha and Clint permission to also leave.

I heard Clint run up to me and waited for that moment when he would put his arm around me. And now doubt he did.

When we got back to my room I was prepared for his "counseling".

"Hey, you ok sis?" He asked me concern filling his already stressed eyes.

"How long am I going to have to keep lying to them? I mean they ARE my friends Clint." I sighed already knowing the dreaded answer.

"As long as Fury says." Tasha said looking at me with pity. "I know its hard Maya, but it's for good and we would hate for you to get close to them besides orders and then find out they are bad guys."

"Yeah. You've already done that once tiger, and looked how that turned out.

"I guess you're right." I quietly said. They both nodded and left my room without another word. I went and sat on my bed and thought. Thought about my brother and SHILED. Thought about Sam, Dean, and Cas and how much I care for them. And most of all I thought about mom and dad. And how much I missed them.
