Dear Clint,

Everything is fine here with Charles. The school is fabulous! We have around 20 kids we are teaching now. Both our powers are increasing, slowly, but powerfully. I miss you all so very much. One of the girls here reminds me of Clara. She has the short brown hair with bangs and is shy, but won't take no for an answer. There is very little news from Luna lately. Last I heard Erik was collecting mutants for his so called army. I hope this does not turn into a war. I must go it is time for me to teach my "science" class. Please tell everyone I said hi.

I put my pen down and quickly ran outside to meet the message carrier before he left.

"Sir!" I called.

"Another one Miss Barton? And what year might this one be addressed to?" I smiled and looked at him thinking about the perfect year to send it to,

"2014."

"I reckon it is a lot of money to send a letter form 1963 to 2014, miss"

"Then a lot of money shall it be" I replied walking back toward the school.

Before The 1962 0-8-4

"Alright Agents Director Fury will see you now." The younger agent said leading Maya, Clint, and Tasha into the room.

"Director Fury, sir." Clint said as the stood in front of their leader.

" We have a very important mission for you. And it must be kept secret from everyone. Including your friends at Stark Tower."

"What is it sir?'' Maya asked secretly excited for the long overdue mission.

"Have you heard of the Cuban missile crisis?"

They all nodded, not really seeing where this as going.

"We are now aware that there are some things that happened that we did not know about that crisis."

"What sir?" Clint questioned.

"We have identified some unusual creatures on these photos taken by one of the American sailors."

We looked at the table to see pictures of missiles flying toward a beach and then another picture showed them turning back toward the sailors. And then a picture of the island with a crashed submarine and plane on it with what looked like people in yellow suits.

"What the hell?" Tasha said picking up the pictures of the missiles.

"We believe the people on the island have special powers. We need you to go back to 1962 and talk to a man named Charles Xavier. He should be able to tell you more about these people."

"Wait, 1962? Doesn't that mean we have to-" Maya began when a very familiar man in a bowtie busted through the door,

"TIME TRAVEL! Sexy has turned back into her TARDIS self and we can now go on a most fabulous adventure!"

"Oh, joy." Maya murmured hating time travel, because it made her queasy.

"Now agents if they do have plans to destroy the Earth we need you to stop them however you have to." The agents then walked out of the room and straight into the awaiting TARDIS.

"Alright, so first you need to change into some different clothes. We don't want the people to freak out when they see us." The Doctor said, throwing a black dress and heels at Maya.

"WHEEEEEEEEEEEE!" A familiar voice squealed as a certain blue haired girl ran into the TARDIS counsel room.

"Wait, she's going with us?" Clint questioned the alien, obviously not approving if the idea.

"Director Fury believes that someone similar to the people we are going to meet should come with us."

"Alright whatever." Clint murmured as he walked off to go change into something more appropriate.

In a couple of minutes everyone, except Luna, was changed into different clothes.

Then the TARDIS landed in what was apparently a FBI base in 1962.

Maya grabbed two guns from Tasha threw on a pair of sunglasses and stepped out of the TARDIS.

The sight before her was…. weird.

There were 3 people around her age staring at them . Then in an open room was a man about 20 with a bat trying to hit another man whose upper half of his body was stone. A girl with wings flying around a ginger boy, a blonde girl and another boy with strange feet hanging off a lighting structure.

"Hello. My name is Agent Maya Barton of SHIELD. I come form the year 2014. Now someone tell me where Charles Xavier is before bullets start flying." She said holding up the two guns in front of her.

One of the men who had curly brown hair and stunning, bright blue eyes walked up and said in a Scottish accent,

"That would be me. Now please put down your weapons there is no need for them. We will not harm you."

"Then neither will we." Maya replied as Clint, The Doctor, Tasha stepped out of the TARDIS besides her, "This is my brother Hawkeye and his partner Black Widow, and our time travelling friend the Doctor."

Then Luna leaped out of the TARDIS screaming,

"CANNONBALL!" And landed on the hard floor face-first.

"I-I thought you guys said there was going to be snow." She said sticking her lip out in a pout.

"We never said that Luna." Maya said realizing this mission was about to get complicated.
