Chapter 6: Secrets Unleashed
AU: Hello everyone and welcome back to another chapter of The Eyes Of Change! This has been a long time in the making and we understand we should have updated sooner but Cold Wave13 now has his own computer so we will be able to bring all of you fans extra content and new chapters as quickly as possible! So please enjoy the show!
After a long day of traveling the team found a clearing to set up camp and Ryuu was finally able to get off of Sasuke's back. "That was the most uncomfortable ride ever, thanks a lot Sasuke". Ryuu said as he started to stretch and walk around with his cane. "Oh yeah like it was so comfortable for me". Sasuke said in a sarcastic tone while stretching. Mitsuko just looked at Sasuke and smirked.
"Hey Sakura-chan when can I start jumping around and moving without this cane and train again?". Ryuu asked desperately as he really wanted to return to training. "I would say probably by tomorrow morning or so... but why would you want to do that when you can spend more time with me". Sakura said with a wink that caused Ryuu to get bright red and everyone to laugh.
"You know for someone who is suppose to be an ANBU captain and his elite squad you don't seem very tough". Everyone heard an unknown voice from the shadows. "Hn, I was waiting for you guys to finally show up". Ryuu said as everyone smirked. "Ah so you did sense us then". Said the unknown voice, just then sound ninja from all sides started to appear. There must have been close to 100 ninja if not more. Finally one sound ninja stepped out of the group. "I am the leader of this group ANBU captain Aoi, a pleasure to see you again Lightning god of hell". The sound ANBU captain named Aoi said as he was clearly talking to Ryuu. Ryuu glared at he man. "Ryuu-kun what is this guy talking about? Whats that name mean?". Sakura asked with concern on her face.
"Captain Aoi, A-Class criminal, wanted for terrorist attacks against his own village now living in the sound village. During my travels I battled him but i'm sad to say he had gotten away". Ryuu said still glaring at the man. "Ok, but that still doesn't explain the name he called you". Sakura said looking at Ryuu. "Oh my, you mean you haven't told them yet even though they are your teammates?". Aoi said with a grin on his face. "Don't you dare say another word". Ryuu said waring Aoi. "Oh but they must hear it". Aoi said with a smirk. "Tell us what?". This time it was Narutos turn to chime in.
"The story of how your precious little Ryuu-kun killed an entire village of civilian and ninja". Aoi said with an evil laugh. "No!". Naruto yelled "We know Ryuu and he would never do something like that! Right Ryuu?". Naruto yelled then looked at Ryuu for an answer. Everyone was stunned to see Ryuu instead of protesting it wasn't true just looking at the ground. Eyes full of tears. "Ryuu..." Sakura said stepping closer to Ryuu. "Get away from me!" Ryuu shouted causing Sakura to stop he then continued. "He's right... I'm nothing but a monster... during my travels I was doing research on a forbidden jutsu that would cause people to become crazed and attack everyone and everything they saw because they saw everything as a threat. I hadn't seen any sign of it yet and brushed it off as jsut a myth, that is until I came across a small village. They didn't have many ninja, but they were happy. No one bothered them and they bothered no one, I had checked into a hotel there for a couple of days just to rest and enjoy myself and train. The first day everything seemed fine and there was nothing wrong. That is until the night. I remember it like it was just yesterday and to this day it still makes me wake up screaming at night. We ninja are not bulletproof and I found that out that day. The things I saw... they... they... they were the things of nightmares". Ryuu said while shivering with tears falling from his eyes head still to the ground but still he continued bent on telling the real story. The full story. "I woke up to a woman's scream, at first I thought it was just a dream and tried to go back to sleep, but then I heard it again a clear as day scream coming from right outside. I knew I had to see what was going on. So I quickly dressed and hurried outside. When I got outside what I saw should never be seen by any person ninja or not. Blood everywhere, bodies spread all up and down the street. I looked down the street to see a ninja from the village stabbing another ninja in his heart. As the ninja came towards me he suddenly got hit from behind by kunais. I looked to see the man he had orginally stabbed had thrown them and was now crawling towards me with a kunai in hand as if ready to kill me with it. He died only a few feet from where he was stabbed. I looked to the other side of the street to see villagers attacking each other with whatever they had or could find. As a ninja your suppose to be ready to see blood and death but nothing could prepare you for that. As I was in thought I looked ahead to see a married couple who where very sweet and had shown me around town and even had given me a discount from there market. Were suddenly fighting and attempting to kill each other. I quickly created two lightning clones and broke the two apart to try and figure out what was going on. The old man yelled his wife was a spy from another village sent to kill them all, the woman in turn yelled back at her husband saying he was a missing ninja here with more bandits to kill them all. I couldn't understand what the two were talking about as both had told me ealier that day that neither of them were ever ninjas. I had concluded that someone had casted the forbidden jutsu I was researching on the whole village. I didn't know how someone could do something like that or have so much chakra that I never noticed it. I looked on and saw someone who wasn't attacking everyone else, that is until someone who was fighting with another person was pushed against them and the two peoples hands touched. Then the person who was not attacking anyone suddenly became mad like everyone else and started attacking people too. I realized just by the slightest touch is how the jutsu was being sent threw people. I then noticed people had seals on there hands meaning the seals touched someone and then transfered to them. I had to get out of the village as quickly as possible but then people suddenly had started attacking me as if someone was controlling them. I put on gloves and started to fight the people and ninja off but I was getting tired and knew I couldn't keep it up. The people jsut wouldn't stay down, I realized the only way to stop them was to kill them. I chakra in my legs to speed myself up and created 4 lightning clones. All of them went off to the 4 sides of the village. Once I was outside the village they all created the 4 corner lightning barrier. That keeps whatever is out, out and whatever is in, in. I had no other choice as to not let this horrible jutsu spread. The person who had created it had to have been within the village in order to start the jutsu and control all the people they did. So I used my Lightning God Kirin technique to destory the village and the jutsu itself. After so the jutsu was never seen again. However that still doesn't excuse what I did to those poor innocent people... I'm just a murder... A monster...". Ryuu said with tears still falling from his eyes.
Suddenly he felt a pair of arms wrap around his back and lock around his chest. He heard what he could only tell was soft crying. "No Ryuu... Your not... a monster... your a member... of this team... your Mitsuko's big bother... your Naruto and Sasuke's brother... and your... your... your the man that I love with all my heart..." Sakura said in between sobs but she found strength in her words along wth everyone else. Ryuu looked up when he heard what sounded like metal hitting metal. He saw Sasuke deflect a kunai with his sword. "You act like we arn't even family". Sasuke said calmly. "Well to bad Ryuu your stuck with us for the rest of your life". Naruto chimmed in. "Yeah, now let's show these guys what family can really do brother" Mitsuko added with a smirk.
"Well to bad you all won't be alive long enough to see the end off that". Aoi said with a smirk, then continued. "Hey guys kill the 3 guys but save the girls not only can we play with them later but the last Uchiha girl and the top medic aside the Hokage, we could sell on the black market and make a fortune". The girls only shuddered at the thought. That is until they both felt a hand on top of there heads. It was Ryuu's as he bent down to there level he only smiled with his eyes closed and said "Don't worry girls we won't let them lay a hand on you, you have my word". Ryuu turned around to the large group of sound ninja still with the smile on his face. "Now how do all of you want to die today?". The smile never leaving his face. At first Aoi and all the sound ninja looked concerned that is until they started laughing. "Oh please Ryuu even you should know when your out numbered 5 to 100 you should just give up". Aoi said with a cocky smile on his face. "Tsk, tsk, tsk, not the answer I was looking for. I was hopeing you would all be smart and use the time to run. But no you all decided you just want to die. Well fine I'm not called one of the 5 gods of hell for nothing. Sasuke, Mitsuko now!". Ryuu shouted with a smile then Sasuke and Mitsuko went back to back both yelled "Amaterasu!". After which ninja from around the battle field started to catch on fire by black flames.
At least 40 if not more died just by the flames alone. Then came Sakura hitting the ground so hard it sent sound ninja flying and others to be hit by rocks. Another 20 died. After that was Naruto, "Wind Style: Great Breakdown!". He shouted sending a wind so powerful it either started to cut your body in half or sent you flying so quickly when you hit a tree or anything else you had no chance of surviving it also sent the large rocks Sakura hit up earlier into the unsuspecting sound ninja, killing another 40. Finally all the sound ninja had either been killed or so injuried they wouldn't survive more then 10 min. Except for one, Captain Aoi, who looked on with complete amazement and fear that his whole team of elite sound ninja were just taken out by 4 ninja and the leader didn't even need to fight.
"Now Aoi how about we finish the fight we started 2 years ago". Ryuu said with a smirk on his face. "All of you stay back, he is very crafty and very strong. Sakura, heal Mitsuko and Sasuke from there Amaterasu and Naruto must need a break too we can't have him injuried either. I will face Aoi alone. If I fail and die here I need you all to be in shape to take him out and finish the mission. Sasuke save our brother." Ryuu said standing with his back to them and just as he was about to go off to fight when he felt something hit him in the back of the head sending him to the ground.
"Baka! For the last time you are not allowed to die and leave me!". Sakura yelled at Ryuu while shaking her fist and being held back by Naruto. "Hahahaha looks like you got a feisty one there". Aoi laughed while looking at he ANBU captain.
After Ryuu got up he looked at Sakura, he smiled. "Don't worry Sakura I will always be with you. Oh and I love you too". As those words left his lips he turned to Aoi. "Let's finish this Aoi". Ryuu said as he got into a fighting stance ready to defend his team and the woman he loved with his life.
AU: Hey Everyone sorry there wasn't to much fighting in this chapter there will be more next chapter. Which I we will start to write RIGHT after this chapter is put up! We are once again very sorry for waiting so long to put up another chapter. Now that Cold Wave13 has his own computer to write on the chapter updates will be a lot sooner and better as we go on. We plan to make this story a long one and to all of those people who have stuck around for this story we thank you and will plan to bring you amazing new content as we can. Also all you RyuuSaku and SasuMits lovers out there, don't worry there will be more playful and romantic moments to come! ;) So stick around and watch as this crazy love story goes on one hell of a wild ride!
