Cristina open her eyes, light of the lamp hurt her eyes, then she closed her eyes, she take a deep breath then open her eyes one more times, she have no idea where she is, but then she try look more about her surrounding, then she realize she in ICU, she saw someone sleep besides her bed, she know exactly who she is, she know very well that blond hair, she tried to lift her hand but it really hard, then she try to call her, "Mer, Meredith wake up, Mer, what happen to me?"
Meredith soon wake up when she hear Cristina, "oh my goodness, Cristina, your awake" she was very happy that make her cried, she embraced her, "ouch, all my body is sore, what happened with me, Mer?", Meredith just laugh between her tears, "you had accident with you your husband and your son, Cristina".
"Oh my god, Nathan and Jason", Cristina suddenly feel terrified remember her family, "what happen with them, Meredith, is they alive?" she start to have short breath, and panic, "they are fine Cristina, calm yourself, take a deep breath, I'll asked nurse to inform William that you awake" Meredith push the nurse call button then hold her hand while guide her to take a deep breath.
William can't sleep, he just back and forth on his bed, thinking hard about Cristina, then he just stare at Nathan bed besides him, look at his son face easy his heart for a while, they moved in new room which big and comfort for two bed, with their fast recovery they supposed to discharged yesterday, but they choose to stay at hospital until Cristina get better, Helen also still stay at hotel in Seattle wait for Cristina, at least she and Saul can rest in comfortable place.
William just start to feel sleepy, then he startled when someone knock the door, the nurse enter they room, "I'm sorry to wake you sir, but I just get called from ICU that your wife is awake", William felt his heart stop beating when hear that Cristina awake, he abruptly jump off his bed, which also wake Nathan, he start to whine, but he soon comfort him with stroke his hair, "sweetheart, stop crying, mommy is awake, we will meet her now", Nathan soon stop his cry when hear he will meet his mommy, then William asked nurse help to carry Nathan to ICU, because with his condition post of heart surgery there is no way to him to lift Nathan.
William was really grateful and keeps prying in his heart, He try hard to hold his tears on his way to ICU, he soon wear the sterile gown and mask, while the nurse help Nathan, he can see Cristina eyes on him when he enter the room, William can't hold his tears anymore, he walk fast to Cristina bed, soon he hug his wife, both of them cried in each other arm, "honey, I'm so afraid to lose you, I love you, I love you so much", William talked to Cristina while caress her face, she take his hand then kissed it, "I love you so much too", then Nathan comes, called his mommy. "Mommy", Cristina look at her precious son, "Nathan, sweetheart", nurse help to take Nathan to her bed, Cristina soon hug her son tightly, she can't feel any pain when finally met her son and husband, Nathan take position sleep besides his mom while his hand wrap on her belly, he missed his mom so much, "honey, are you and Nathan fine?" she really worry about her family, "Nathan and I is fine now, is you we worry about, you had been in coma for two weeks", Cristina so relief while stroking Nathan hair, then they hear soft snore, Nathan fall asleep on her arm, it makes her laugh, "he must be really sleepy, what time is it, now?".
"it 3.15 AM", Meredith answer her, she been there watched entire wonderful moment, and don't know why she suddenly feel she don't belong in that room, "I'll take Nathan back to his room, you need a rest Cristina, Derek will comes soon to check you" she carefully take Nathan from Cristina side, she did not dare to look at her, it William who thanked her, "thank you so much Meredith", watch her son carried by Meredith, she felt the awkward situation, but she still can't figure it why.
Just after Meredith left, Derek comes, while he check her condition, her memory start to clear, she remember, the moment when they accident, when they spend time in the lake, then she realize that she is in GSMH and suddenly she remember Owen, she remember that she hide Nathan from Owen, his own father, and wonder if Owen knew about it, she bear a huge guilty and afraid to him, it make her stress and terrified, it triggered her a panic attack, she start have short of breath, but she keep try to speak "it's, it's he is here?" then she get unconscious.
Derek soon do a first help, he asked William out of the room, which make him really worry, but he know exactly that Cristina was asked about Owen before, he tried to calm himself outside the room, after five minutes Derek out, "she is fine William, she just in shocked, she need rest, I sedated her, so she can rest well, I hope she be more calm tomorrow, so do you, Cristina will need you tomorrow morning", "but Derek, she look really stressed in here, I think it's better for us to move to another hospital" William who know exactly about his wife feeling, only can think that way", "be calm William, it's the best hospital for her now, you know that, I'll take care everything, trust me William, now just back to your room, Nathan need you, what important now is Cristina is awake, and she don't lose any memory, that what we have grateful for", William know that all Derek word is right, "all right then, but I want to check my wife first," he enter her room, he check her pulse, BP, everything seems normal, after make sure everything is fine by himself, he feel relief, he heading back to his room.
Derek asked nurse about available room for Cristina, unfortunately all room is full except for VVIP room on sixth floor, "okay prepared that room for Cristina, she need a comfortable room, page me, when you move her to her room". "all right, sir".
Derek back to his room, he thinking about the best way to fix this all, he know that she had panic attack, Meredith already waiting for him in his room, "how about her condition Derek?"," she just get faint after had panic attack", "what? she is fine, when I leave her room? why? What happened?", "well I don't know for sure, but obviously she realize she in GSMH, it could be because she remember of Owen or maybe you, but she look really stressed and it trigger her panic attack.
Meredith start to cry again, Derek soon hug her, "it's okay, she is fine now, Mer", " I was the first person find she awake, she talked to me, I hug her, I hold her hand, I was very happy Derek, but that only happened because she still don't remember our last meeting, and now, I believed she'll remember all those awful word I said to her, I missed her so much, I missed my person, but now I probably one of reason she get panic attack", "we will figure it out Meredith, believed me, everything going to be okay" Derek try to comfort his wife.
After an hour Derek pager buzz, he soon walk to sixth floor, after checked Cristina on her new room, which is besides Owen room, he knock Owen room, then enter it, Owen who awake ten minutes ago, stare at his phone look at Nathan video they made a day before, when he dance a pororo song, "what's up, Derek? Who the new patient just enter?", Derek take a deep breath, "it's Cristina, she just awake an hour ago but she get panic attack, then get faint", "what? is she fine Derek?" Owen feel worry, "she is fine now, but I'm afraid you the one triggered her panic attack, Owen, I'm sorry", "but why? I didn't do anything to her Derek, she is not the one who is hurt, I also hurt because of her, she hide my son from me, I life in misery more than two years, you know I love her so much, she is the love of my live, there is nothing I want in this world besides her happiness, and I just want to be close with my own son", "I know Owen, you had sacrifice to save your son live, and you did it, but I think she carried a huge fear to you, she get faint when she asked about you, she sound really terrified".
Helen get phone called an hour ago that her daughter is awake, she specifically asked nurse to call her if anything happen to her daughter, she so happy that she go by herself to hospital, when she arrived in hospital Cristina already moved to new room in sixth floor, on her way she hear Derek voice, she though Derek is in Cristina room, but she is wrong, when she heard Owen voice, she heard everything.
She know now, that Owen the one who save her grandson live, she feel guilty after berated him and called him jerk, she knock his door, both of them shocked when she enter the room, "I just walk to search my daughter room, but I heard all your conversation, she walk to Owen bed, then take his hand, "thank you so much for helping my grandson live, I'm sorry for berated you before, I didn't expect you actually a good man, as much you hurt my daughter before, I know that you also really hurt now because of her, I'm also a parent Owen, I understand your feeling, but now as parent I also begging you, please give Cristina more time, she is really fragile now, let hear heal from her injury before you force about Nathan".
Owen, who shocked Helen comes to his room, he actually afraid when Helen found out he still stay in his hospital, but when she hold his hand and say thank you and apologized, it touch his heart, he start sobbing "when I lose my mother, I put all of anger to her, I blame her for everything, I asked her out from my life, I didn't mean it, I swear, and when she is gone, I realize I have nothing in this world, she is my everything, love of my life, I hurt myself for hurting her, I try really hard to search her, but she already go to Europe, I can't reach her at all, then I found Cristina married with William, and had son with him, it really hurt me, she terminated our baby before, because she don't want to have child, but how could she had child with other man and live happily, I tried to move on but I can't, I felt there is no point I live in this world anymore, until I found Nathan is actually my son, first time I know I have a son, is when he dying, can you imagine my feeling at that time? I don't have anybody anymore I only have him in this world and now that he is get better, please give me chance to get closer my own son, please,"
Helen also can help her tears, now she understands Owen pain, but she also need to protect her own daughter, "Owen, please give her a time, if you force everything right now, it will make everything worst, and please don't really hate Cristina, because she still really love you until he married William, I don't know why Cristina said that Nathan father don't care with her pregnancy, but she take care of her pregnancy by herself for five months in London, even when she fall from the stair, before she get faint she called you, not William, who accompany her during her last two months pregnancy, not even me, her own mother who take care of during her pregnancy since she back from London, if that not love tell me what is that, and I believed the biggest reason she had panic attack now is the huge amount of guilty she have toward you, I'm also begging you Owen, please give her time to heal from injury, give her a year, I promise I'll help you to get your right, I'll help you to get close with Nathan".
Helen takes her hand from Owen, "I know it's all not easy for you, one year, I only asked one year Owen, please think about it for shake of Cristina and Nathan psychology", then she just walk out from the room, Derek who stand in the room feel so relief because Helen comes, because she help him to give understanding to Owen, then he also walk out the room, leave Owen on his own though.
Owen take his own IV, then he intent to walk to Cristina room, but he stop himself, he afraid that he can't stop himself when look at her face, after know that, he actually has chance to be besides her when she giving birth of Nathan, but fated play him one more times, he walk to William and Nathan rooms, both of them sleep soundly, Owen walk to Nathan bed, then take him in his arm, actually he feel a bit pain on his injury wound, but he held it, then he bring Nathan out from his room.
