Tyrion's POV

He was back at Castlerly Rock and he couldn't help but smile. Years agao he wouldn't have thought it possible that he would be Lord of the Rock but thanks who his father's failed rebellion due to trying preserve the Lannister Legacy.

Now he was what was left of that legacy, his father would be going mad in his grave if he knew that the once most powerful House in Westeros was now ruled by his dwarf son, to do with as he pleased. The house and Kingdom may have been less rich and powerful then it once was what with the loss of my of its fighting men, as well as losing Crakehall and their lands to the Reach and most of his most loyal Lord had had their lands taken away, with the Golden Tooth and Faircastle now in the hands of houses more loyal to Renly and Tarbeck Hall and Castermere reinstated as lands with new lords as well. Also the debts and wards they had to send away, many of the houses whom were required to send wards initially refused until he had said that he was sure the King would be understanding to rebels who had tried to stop him from having his crown and whom were now refusing his orders. They had quickly fallen in line.

His father would also be furious to see taking Shae in what once was his bedroom, as he was doing now. He plunged deeper into her making her moan with pleasure. He really loved Shae, he just hoped she felt the same way about him. She said she did but he had found it hard to trust anyone ever since what happened with Tysha, his wife his first loved, whom his father revealed to be a whore hire by his brother to make him feel better, what a failed plan that turned out to be.

When he had pulled out of Shae, he lay on top of her chest feeling her breathe heavily from the excitement over what happened.

"Shae we need to talk," he sighed already knowing this conversation was not going to go well.

"What about my darling Lion," she asked seductively stroking his head.

"Shae, don't take this wrong way, I love you but I need to take a wife,"

"A noble wife you mean. So you fuck me first then throw me a side for a younger more beautiful wife," Shae cried angrily, sitting up and pushing him of her, getting out of bed and grabbing a robe as if she was about to leave.

"Shae if I could chose you I would, but it doesn't have to be the end for us, I am doing this out of duty not out of love. If I could marry just for love I would marry you," he argued back at her, surprising himself when he said that.

He watched her turn around and look down at him with a tender look, letting her robe fall off her shoulders to reveal her luscious breasts that he loved to kiss to much.

"You would marry this whore whom has slept with so many men?" she asked obviously doubting him.

"I would cause I love you Shae, and I think you do to, but as the New Lord of Casterly Rock you know I can't, my position is tenuous at the moment, I must marry a lady from a noble house to strengthen alliances, I must put a child in her but you must know I will never truly love her, my heart will always be for you. I promise you."

At the he sat up moved over to her and pulled her down to him kissing her again and she didn't stop him, meaning everything was okay for now. Now he only had to find a wife but who would want to marry an Imp. Sure many houses would want an alliance with the Lannister even in their weakened state but he couldn't imagine many fathers from the richer noble hoses in the Kingdom condemning their daughter to marry an Imp, the son of a condemned traitor, the brother of the incestuous twins even if he was Lord of Casterly Rock and Warden of the West.

The next day he was sitting in the office chambers, going over the many papers and requests he had been sent, many of them containing marriage proposals, obviously all looking to get an alliance with the Warden of the West,, when a knock at the door interrupted him. He knew whom it was, he had asked him to come and help him with this impossible task.

Bronn swaggered in looking quite noble in his new uniform of the Captain of Lannisport city watch, wearing a rather swaggering red and gold cape.

"You summoned me, my lord," he said mockingly doing a fake bow, " Long time no see, thought you had forgotten me but I didn't mind making plenty of side earnings as the commander of the city watch."

"You're not meant to be cheating people," He said exasperated.

"I'm not, merely taking a little off the side for protection against the thieves and gangs, and serious charges. I am doing a rather good job though, thieving has gone down by at least 50%"

"Really," he queried sounding rather surprised, "How did you manage that?"

"Rounded up all the known thieves, tried them and convicted them, then sent them of with theis chap called Yoren from the Night watch who was looking for fresh recruits, you did me to give him any men that were accused of crimes."

He had told Bronn to do that, he liked Yoren, a good laugh and drinking partner, had more character than many men of the Night's watch. "I meant the ones that were already in custody, and had been tried and sentenced, I did not mean for you to go and round up more men just to send them to the wall."

Bronn shrugged, obviously not really caring "AH well never mind, they were criminals and I hear the wall needs all the men they can get their hands on. You should be happy we only have the unknown thieves to worry about now."

"Never mind about that, what is done is done, I need your help, I have what feels like a million request for a marriage alliance for me. I need your help deciding what one is best!"

"You know me, I don't know much about Houses of Westeros, which re more powerful or worthy of a marriage with House Lannister."

"Yes your just an um jumped sellsword, I know, but you do know from your many times drinking at taverns and gossiping, which daughters of nobles houses you would gladly fuck, which one's are good looking and which ones are horse like. And any way we need to find a noble wife for you," he jested, always enjoying the banter they had.

"Gossip can sometimes be false and your right I do but what noble house would want to marry a daughter to me."

"You mean to the Lord commander of the Lannisport City watch, newly knights as Ser Bronn of Lannisport due to your bravery in the rebellion of the Iron Islands, right hand man to the Warden of the West and new Lord Celgange's keep, maybe not a high noble house, but maybe a low one or a knightly house would gladly welcome the match."

"Wow, Lord Tyrion, I am honoured, I do not deserve such a high honour," he said in a sarcastic tone.

"Oh shut up with your false flattery, I will find a match for you, in the meantime help me sort through all these fucking letters," he groaned looking at the pile.

They quickly discarded the numerous letters from Walder Frey offering Tyrion any daughter or granddaughter of his choosing. Bronn had stated that Robb Stark had taken the only really beautiful one and Edmure was betrothed to another one, unless he wanted some weasel looking daughter that looked just like her father, he was better of refusing that one. Any way he already had a family member married to a Frey with his Aunt being married to Emmon Frey. They easily rejected the proposals from Lady Tanda Stokeworth for him to marry her daughter Lolly whom was past thirty and lacked wits, he did suggest that Bronn could marry her and one day maybe get Castle Stokeworth but Bronn had told he would rather keep the shit keep that Was Clegange's then have Stokeworth and have to fuck that girl who looked like a walrus.

"I think a daughter of Lord Hewett could be a possibility, he has many and many granddaughters, plus he is Lord of Oakenshield, one of the Shield Isles, what do you know of the girls."

"Well, I've heard people they would fuck em good and proper if they the chance, but they say Lord Hewett's bastard daughter if the real looker amongst them, what I wouldn't do to give her a good ride," Bronn smirked wishfully.

"Well I'm sure we can arrange that, but I think we are getting off subject. I have a surprising offer here from Lord Paxter Redwyne a marriage to his daughter of 18., I have another one from the Westerlings offering either of their daughters for marriage and quite a more few from lesser houses of the reach and Westerlands."

He was noticing a pattern, there were only offers from his own bannermen and from the Reach because they didn't care that they had tried to rebel, most of those houses cared about power and now he was Lord of Casterly Rock he had quite a bit of power and wealth and was an obvious ally. The Only house outside of the Westerlands or the reach was the Frey's who also only cared about alliances and family no matter where they came from, he had no other offers from the Riverlands, they were probably still annoyed about his father sacking their lands. The Crownlands wouldn't risk offending Lord Renly, neither would North with offending Lord Stark and Iron Islands held no love of the Lannisters and didn't really interest in political marriages and the Vale were still stay isolated. Dorne still held the Lannisters responsible for the deaths of Elia Martell but he didn't expect any offers from them anyway.

"Redwyne would be a good match but Jeyne Westerling is rumoured to be pregnant with a bastard child from when she was raped by the Iron Born, because she is spoilt though she may be a good match for me."

He could tell Bronn was imagine what it would be like to shag a young woman like Jeyne, she was rather beautiful he had to admit but right now it would seem that either Desmera Redwyne or Cecily or Juliana Hewett are best matches, both for young good looking woman and alliances, he would write to Lord Redwyne and see if the offer for marriage is still open.

As he began writing the letter, Bronn put his feet up on the desk and started whistling to himself rather distracting him from his task.

"Do you mind," Tyrion sighed looking up indicating that he was trying to write.

"No go ahead, you're not bothering me," Bronn replied smirking

Just as he was about to say something else, a knock at the door sounded and his squire Podrick Payne come in.

"A Raven from King's Landing"

Tyrion took it and opened it revealing it was from the King

"So what does that ponce of a King want now?" grinned Bronn, grabbing a bunch of grapes and tossing them one by one into his mouth.

"He says to send patrols of our fleet out as there have been sightings of a small fleet about 15 ships led by the pirate and former Iron Born captain Euron Greyjoy whom was banished by Lord Balon. Apparently they have returned back to Westeros and have been raiding nearby trade vessels all along the west coast.

"What fleet ask him? Some our ships were destroyed in the Second Greyjoy Rebellion and we had to give more ships to the North, we only have about 25 ships left, we have to guard the shore as well."

"Aye that we do, send 10 ships out in 2 patrols of 5 ships each, one going North and the other south for till they reach the end our borders then tell them to circle back going about 100 miles away from the coast on the way back. Keep the rest in reserve to guard Lannisport."

"Aye, I will see to it at once my lord," Bronn joked doing another mocking bow, then walking out followed closely by Podrick.
