"Owen carried Nathan to elevator, he push sixth button, he takes Nathan to Cristina room, he sit on empty seat besides her bed after put Nathan on her bed, he look at them as most beautiful creature in the world, she sleep soundly under anesthetic. Owen takes her hand into him.
"Cristina, I'm sorry, we keep hurt each other, and hatred blinded my conscience, I just think about how you could separated me from our son, but I forget, you fulfill my dream, to have child from you, I know you sacrifice a lot for bringing Nathan to the world, and rise him to be adorable boy, I'm really thankful for that, but it's a lie if I said I'm not upset, I'm hurt Cristina, it really hurt, but I realize that you love me Cristina, yes you did, Nathan exist because of Love, your love for me, you comfort me when my mother dying, but I easily jump to another woman just a minute after we make love"
Owen laughed bitterly remember that moment, he can't imagine how hurt Cristina that times, and in addition those awful words he said to her before she leave, he know that she deserved a better man, and he don't deserve her love at all.
"William really a great man, I admit that Cristina, I'm nothing compare to him, he also a good father for Nathan, you love me so much that make my dream come true, and I also love you so much to let you live happily with Nathan and William, but just give me this moment to stay with you and our son together only for minutes" Owen can't hold his heart he cried sobbing, and it wake Nathan.
"doodah" Nathan called him with husky voice, he sound sleepy, but he still force himself to sit, and put his small hands to Owen face then wipes his tears "don cry", then kisses both of his eyes, Owen hug him tightly, he break the hug, and while stroke his messy curly hair, "doodah love you so much", Nathan give him lovely smile while put both of his hand on top of his head and said cute word "sarangheyo", it really cute that make Owen laughed, he have no idea what is that word but he believed it's Korean language, then he tell Nathan back to sleep, and help him lay back to bed, while keep stroking his hair until back to sleep, he will keep this moment forever in his mind, after Nathan back to his deep sleep, Owen kissed him and Cristina cheek before leaved the room, then he called Derek.
Next few hours William wake from his sleep, and found Nathan not in his bed, he soon get off from his bed, and asked nurse about Nathan, but they have no idea, he soon have bad feeling about this, he run to elevator, his heart almost stop when found out Owen rooms is empty, he check at his toilet but it's also empty, he suddenly panic out from Owen room, the nurse pass by look at him with wondering face "sir, your wife room over there" while pointed next room besides Owen room, he still hard to breath because he can't find his son, but his foot keep walk bring him to Cristina room, and he found Nathan sleep soundly besides Cristina, he feel so relief, he almost cry imagine that he will lose Nathan, he take a deep breath while sit beside her bed, but he wondered why Nathan in her room, who bring him and where is Owen?, he need to speak to him about Cristina condition, right now he really need Owen understanding about his wife treatment.
William walk out and asked about Owen to nurse, but no one know where is he, then he asked nurse where Derek, the nurse answer that he have meeting with the board this morning, William finally back to Cristina room.
Cristina feel someone caress her cheeks, and she can hear Nathan voice wake her "mommy, mommy", Cristina open her eyes, her head still dizzy, but Nathan smile welcome her, he give her a kiss, it erase all her pain, she take his hand and kiss it, Nathan snuggle to her, and then start mumbling as if he tell his mommy a story, Cristina put a serious face and nod as if she understand with all of his world, which mix with English, Korean, and some word maybe only Nathan know, she feel so happy, because she realize she in hospital but with Nathan and William by her sides she feel safe.
When William arrive he found Nathan and Cristina already wake up, he snuggle to her, they chat happily together which warm his heart, he so happy find Cristina happy and relax this morning, he soon closer and give his wife and son a kisses, then spend that morning with happy chat& laughing with Nathan cuteness, he want make sure his wife is relax and calm during her treatment , and while William busy feed Nathan his breakfast, Derek and few other Doctor comes to the room, it's Bailey, Callie with few resident and intern, it make Cristina little tense.
it's Bailey first to talked, "how you feeling Nathan? Don't forget to take your medicine after finish your breakfast", Nathan smile and give her, his thump-up, which make everybody laugh, it make Cristina more relax, then one of intern read Cristina chart, Derek check Cristina vital which good, and then Callie tell her, she need therapy for walk because she broke one of her leg, Cristina let a big sigh after hear that, she even don't make contact eyes with Callie, she notice that but they had briefing about prioritized Cristina comfort before come to her room, Callie really want to talked with her ex-roomates, she really want to apologize because treat her so badly before, but she know this not the time, she can read uncomfortable face from Cristina to her, which is is true, Cristina still remember last thing Callie talked about her which is last kick for her to leave this hospital before, then she brave herself to asked, "is he here? Derek?", which make William heart skip a beat, Derek answer her "if you asked, about Owen Hunt, he is not here, he is in Turkey, he volunteered to help treat Syria refugees two months ago", Cristina so relief with Derek answer, as if a thousand tons of burden disappear from her shoulder, which is everybody in that room know that's a lie, but William can't deny that he also relief with Derek initiative to lie in order to comfort Cristina, he need to talk with him later, then Derek and other doctor leave, except bailey.
Cristina know that bailey going to scold her, "how are you feeling, Cristina?" she just give her grin, "stop grinning, you are really a great Yang, I even didn't get goodbye from you, I thought I teach you enough about manner", Cristina just keep give her smile "dr. Bailey you look so much better than last time I saw you, are you lose some weight?" she try to change the topic. "nice try Yang, but I want you to know how worry I'm when you still in coma, and now I'm happy for you, never in my mind that you'll have a son", Cristina take bailey hands, "dr. Bailey, thank you so much for saving my son live", "you're welcome, but it's not only me, you owe lot of people in this hospital for saving you, your husband and your son, remember we all your family right", "yeah, I remember", "okay, I need to go now, i have to check my other patient, get well soon Cristina".
Cristina look at William who accompany Nathan playing with his drawing books in the couch, "honey", William come closer to her, "yes, what is it Cristina, are you in pain?", "no, hmm, have you meet Meredith?", "yes, she and Derek help us a lot, she missed you so much, but she afraid you don't want to see her, are you willing to meet her?", she let a sigh " I don't know, I just want to back home, our home".
"I know, me too, sweetheart, but you have to strong enough first before we leave, besides all of doctor in here missed you, after heard last times when you leave it quite dramatic, at least they deserve a good bye this times, they really did the best to save us, if not because of them maybe all of us don't survive, but I'm not going to force you to meet her, if you still not ready" William intertwine his hand into her, Cristina grasp back, then she gaze at bandages on his chest, "honey, what about your condition? are you takes your medicine regularly?", he noticed Cristina worry eyes, "I'm good, don't worry I take my medicine regularly, I'll have a check up next few days, I need to be strong for you and Nathan"," Who is doctor operated you? it's Russel? if I were there, I'll operates you, or at least I called Burke, I only allow you handled by the best cardio surgeon " "it's your ex-resident dr. Shane Ross" Cristina quite surprised, " really? It Shane? I want to met him and you also can tell Meredith, I'll meet her, if she want to meet me", William get to her huge bed which enough for for two adult, and lay besides her "okay then, honey I'll tell them later, now, I want to lay besides my wife, I missed her so much", Cristina chuckled "your wife missed you so much too" she kiss his cheek, her mood is much better after she know Owen not in hospital.
When Cristina and Nathan take a nap, William out to looking for Derek, he enter his room, "where is Owen, Derek? He still need treatment", "he is gone, William, it for the better, don't worry, we'll take care of him, now we just focus for Cristina treatment, he specially asked me to tell you, don't worry about him and take good care of Cristina and Nathan. "Can I have his phone number or his email Derek", "for what William? Just leave him alone, are you not afraid he will screw you family in future?", "no, please Derek , I need it", "okay" he write him his number and email address. "By the way if Owen room is empty, I want to move to that room, so Nathan can get close to Cristina, it really important for them to close each other, but Cristina still comfort in her own room, it will improve their healing, , i want the best for my family, don't worry about the bill, money is not problem for me". Derek laugh,"I know how rich you and Cristina, no need to remind me that, I'll asked nurse to prepare the room for you". Then William back to his room, pack his thing and Nathan's before move to new room.
Shane on his way to his room, when he saw William pack his things, he offer to help him, William gladly accepted, after finish help to take all of their stuff to VVIP room, William takes Shane to Cristina rooms, Cristina is awake, but Nathan is still sleep, Cristina smile widely when look at Shane enter her room "well you did look good with that dark blue scrubs, Shane", "thank you so much dr. Yang" he answer shyly, it's been two years he become attending fellow, but when he face the Cristina Yang he always feel little, "I heard you the one operated my husband, as a wife I want to say thank you so much for saving my man life, as your mentor, I'm so proud of you Shane", Shane tried to hold his tears, his heart almost explode because he used to get praised for his work, but he get praised from Cristina Yang, doctor who inspired, teach and encouraged him become cardio surgeon, it really mean a lot for him, as if his work hard been paid off, William noticed Shane almost cry, he light the mood with pat his shoulder and asked about his personal life "So, Shane are you have girlfriend?", Shane smiled hear his question, "no sir, I'm still focus on my work, I afraid have no time for date", Cristina chuckled "yes, good answer, you never disappointed me Shane, you are still my best student so far, but when you meet a good woman who understand our job and willing to take care of you and your children, never let her go", "okay, dr. Yang, I'll always remember your advise". While they busy chat catching about heart, research and their new life, someone knocked her room.
