Quick Author's Note:
Some of you were upset in the last chapter. And by some I mean the one (you know who you are). Truth be told, I don't understand why you were upset or surprise. I mean it was bound to happen, it even say so on the summary. Besides, there's still more to this story than everyone thinks. Just keep on reading and find out what happens next.
Also to answer a question a guest left me; How can I make Wendy attractive? Well, I got two answers for that question.
My first answer is that Wendy is attractive in her own way. It's more of an inner beauty attraction than an outer beauty one. Luigi like her for her personality so in his eyes she's attractive.
My second answer is that I leave most of the appearances and voices of the characters up to the imagination of the readers. If they want a certain character to look a certain way or have a certain voice, that's their choice to do if it helps make the story better. If that sounds a bit too lazy, then I apologized. There are a few - actually a lot of things - I probably had missed or never thought about when I started this. Maybe in the future, I'll rewrite this story with more added details.
...
Anyways...Enjoy The Chapter :)

Chapter 39:
Secret Sharing
...
As soon as Roy and Wendy got back to the castle, Roy immediate drags Wendy to his room. The Koopa princess had long stop struggling against her brother's hold and was now just trying to keep up with him. Once they took to his room, he shut the door behind him and turned to his sister.
"Okay, start talkin'," he said. "I want ta know everythin', from the beginnin' ta da end."
Wendy sighs. She knew this was eventually going happen, but she didn't expect it to come so soon or for it to take place like this. She really didn't want the others to find out, Bowser especially. Perhaps, if she could reason with Roy and do what he says, he might be willing to keep it a secret.
"Okay, it's like this,"
~XXX~
"Wendy Koopa is really Lady Alfredo?!"
Luigi nodded. Both he and Kastoadra were at his house now, where he revealed his secret relationship with Wendy. Mario wasn't home which means he was probably at the castle. He knew the indigo toadette would be shock to hear his red-haired girlfriend was really the daughter of the Koopa King, so he waited until they had reach the privacy of his own home to tell her the truth.
"Yes, she is.
"But...how?"
"She used a spell that can transform her into a human." Luigi explains. "It can also be use to transform me into a koopa, which is now I was able to have dinner with her family."
Kastoadra blinked several times and sat back from her seat on the couch. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. Luigi, one of the Mushroom Kingdom's sworn protector; was actually dating one of the Koopa King's Koopalings. It was like watching a soap opera, only it was real and 10 times more interesting.
"Wow," she said out of disbelief. "Seriously Luigi, you have gotten yourself in a very... unusual relationship."
"Yeah, but it's still a loving relationship; one like any other."
"Did you plan on telling anyone?"
Luigi shook his head. "No; at least, not for a while...No one knows about us, not even Mario. If he did, you can only imagine how upset he will."
Kastoadra inwardly nodded. It was true; the red plumber was known to have a temper. It was rarely seen and happens far in between but everybody knew about it.
"Not only that," Luigi continues. "I don't think the entire Kingdom will be too happy to hear about me having relations with Bowser's daughter. They'll think of me as a traitor, especially since the recent princess kidnapping."
Kastoadra nodded to that as well. Although it was hard to admit it, Toads do have the tendency to quickly jump to conclusions before they could get their facts straight. In a way, it keeps things interesting but it could also lead a bad situation into something worse.
"Um, just curiosity... where you there when Princess Peach got captured the other day?"
Luigi smiled slightly, for he knew she might ask that. "No, I wasn't there when the princess was captured, although I did help her escape from the castle."
Kastoadra blinked in surprise. It must have been hard for him to help the princess escape especially since he was hidden behind enemy lines. He could have been in big trouble if had gotten caught, luckily he didn't. Suddenly, she found herself feeling remorsefully for asking such a question. Luigi had risk his life almost as much as his brother had, he would never betray the kingdom.
"Sorry,"
Luigi shrugged the apology off. "It's okay; I knew you might ask that."
That did not make her feeling better. If anything, that made her feels worse. Like she was predictable and she hate being predictable. To her, predictable is boring and boring just doesn't fit in her lifestyle. She was an action girl (at least that's what her friends say) and action girls were unpredictable.
She turned her attention to the green plumber sitting across from her. He looked really sad, like he was losing something very precious to him. She frowned; was Wendy really that important to him?
"You must really into her, uh?" she asked softly.
Luigi nods his head. "Of course I do, I love her after all."
Kastoadra flinched when he said that. Love - she had been on that boat before. It was an additive, wonderful drug that got her blood pumping every day. Unfortunately, the guy she had fallen in love with turn out to be a selfish, manipulative jerk that only use her and led her in a life full of trouble.
She got out of it and just in time too. But her uncle feared for her future so he asked an old friend, Toadsworth, to take her in and provide her a job around the castle. Now she was working as one of many of Princess Peach's toad servants.
It was a dull job, nothing exciting happens often and, as stated before, she was an action girl who needed to see some excitement now and then. Bowser's invasions use to give her the thrill she was looking forward to but now they too were getting dreary.
She shook herself out of her thought bubble and turned to the plumber again. It was sad, really; how a hero such as him is rarely acknowledged for his efforts and is commonly forgotten throughout the land. Even she herself was guilty for such a thing; forgetting his name at least five times or so in the past while his brother's stuck in her head like super glue on duct tape.
"You know," she started. "I won't tell anyone if you don't want me to."
Luigi turn his head to her, surprise. "You're not?"
Kastoadra shook her head. "Nope; after all, it's your secret. I just happened to have found out."
Luigi blinked several times before a small relief smile appears on his lips. "Thank you, Kastoadra; I really appreciate it."
"Hey, call me Kassie, it's easier. And besides, who am I to judge on who you're dating. Especially since, I've been secretly hanging out with Roy Koopa."
"So I have notice,"
Kassie grin and gaze over at the clock. She gasped. "Ah oh, I'm late for work!"
She jumped off the couch and quickly ran to the door. Luigi sat up from his single seat chair and followed after her. He might as well see how the princess was faring after her latest kidnapping.
"I'll come with you,"
~XXX~
After locking the front door, Luigi and Kassie made a bee-line to the Mushroom Castle. As they walk down the path, they engage in some light conversation.
"So..." Luigi started. "When did you start 'hanging out' with Roy?"
Kassie thought about it. "Hmm, about two, maybe three weeks ago; I had the day off and ran into him that day in the forest."
"What were you doing in the forest?"
"Exploring," she said. "You may not know this, but I too am a major tomboy myself and I tend to do things that can lead me into trouble."
"I could have guessed that," Luigi replies. "Roy did say you were broad and feisty."
Kassie paused and beamed at him. "He mentioned me?"
Luigi nodded. "Yeah, he said you were tough and stood up against him."
Kassie blush slightly, "Yeah well, I know he's a bad guy and all, but I can tell underneath that whole tough guy act he's actually a big softie."
Luigi nods in agreement; he had gotten glances of Roy's soft side before, usually towards Wendy. Once the two reach the castle, Kassie ran headed to get herself check in leaving Luigi to find the others by himself. She ran pass the dining room when she heard someone called her name.
"Kastoadra," She paused and retraced her steps back to the dining room. Toadsworth was there, as well as the princess and Mario.
"Oh, hey, Toadsworth,"
The brown toad stood up from his chair on the table and approaches the purple toadette with a frown. "Where have you been, young lady? You were supposed to report to work two hours ago."
Kassie smiled sheepishly. "Sorry, I lost track of time and got distracted. But the good news is..." She ran down the hall where Luigi was looking and dragged him to where everyone else was. "...I ran into someone while I was out."
Luigi wave slightly. "Hi Toadsworth,"
Toadsworth jumped. "Luigi, my boy! You were return,"
At the mention of his name, Mario and Peach pause from what they were doing and look up. Upon seeing him, they beamed.
"Luigi, please come in; we were starting to worry about you." said Peach
"Yeah Bro, I thought you said were going to see Lady Fettuccine's parents, not going on vacation with them." commented Mario.
Luigi rub the back of his head. "Sorry, I end up staying at her place for a few days to get to know her family."
"Kastoadra, if you would, bring some tea for Master Luigi." asked Toadsworth.
She nodded. "Yeah, sure, I'll be back in a second."
"You arrival just in time, Master Luigi; the princess was just telling us about this koopa that helped her escape."
Luigi look over to the princess, raising a knowing eyebrow. "Really?"
"Yes," said Peach. "He was Wendy's boyfriend; he was really nice and kept me safe from harm. It's a shame I never got the chance to learn his name. He talked fondly of Wendy and even said he loved her."
"He did?" Mario said in slight disbelief. "I guess he's into the temperamental spoiled type."
"Hey, you never know; maybe she has a nicer side." Kassie assumed as she enters the room. She walks over to the table and gave Luigi his cup of tea. "Sometimes you got to hang with somebody to who they really are," She gave Luigi a playful nudge and wink. "Right, Luigi?"
Luigi gave her an uneasy smile. "Uhm, right"
Although it was a great relief to hear that Kastoadra was willing to his secret hidden, she was only half of the problem. There was still Roy he had to think about, and he was pretty sure the purple koopa was going to kill him the second he sees him again.

"How do you know he's not just saying that to get what he wants?"
Wendy shook her head. "He's not,"
Roy raised an eyebrow. "How do you know?"
"Becauseā¦I offered and he declined to it."
He blinked and leans back in surprise. "You offered?"
"Yup," she nodded. Roy growled but didn't say anything to that. After a moment of silence, he gazes back at her with another question.
"Do you love him?"

...
As soon as Mario saw his house in view, he walked straight towards the front door. He saw the door was unlocked so he simply turned the door knob and enter inside, announcing his arrival and completely unaware that he was walking in something private.
"Hey Luigi, I'm...home?"

Ending Note:
Well, it looks like Kassie (which is another spelling for Casey) is willing to keep this whole thing a secret. But what about Roy? Will he be as merciful?
Who know? (Well, I do. But you don't.) Find out next time on Saturday/Sunday.
And don't forget to check out my poll.
