Dear Clint,
Today, I found out that I could write letters to you. All I do is put the year and that's when they will deliver it. I miss you very much. It's weird not having my brother following me around and telling me not to do this and not to do that. Oh, and of course I miss everyone else. Being the nosy people they are you are all reading this over Clint's shoulder, so hi. I'm fine, really. Charles and I have been finding kids all over America. We have about 20 kids right now. Good for two months, right? Banshee, Alex, and Beast (hank) are helping a lot. Alex has been improving on his powers a LOT. Well, it's almost time for to go. I miss you all so much. And Clint, I AM FINE. Don't worry about me. Charles is really helping me with everything.
I love you guys so much,
Maya
I sighed looking at the letter wondering, "Will they ever actually get it?"
I searched through Charles's desk searching for an envelope. I slammed a drawer and leaned back in the chair.
"They are in the far left drawer." Charles told me, rolling into the room. I slowly opened the drawer and grabbed an envelope. I sealed up my letter and turned toward him,
"How was the class?" I ask him, swiveling my chair toward him.
"Fine. Alice missed you; she was hoping you could teach her how to use a sword."
I laughed, thinking of the feisty 9 year old.
"I'll teach her. However, do you really want a 9 year old girl who can fly to learn how to use a sword?"
"Probably not." He chuckled coming towards me, "But I'm pretty sure she wouldn't hurt anyone."
"Like she didn't hurt Taylor, when she landed on him?"
We both laughed at that one when we heard a knock on the door. Carrie stepped in with a VERY guilty look on her face. She pushed her dark blond locks behind her ear and she looked up at us.
"Um, Miss Barton?" She asked me shuffling into the room slowly.
"Yes, Carrie."
"Ok well… Me and Bruno were playing and he turned invisible and I got really scared and accidently hypnotized him and he fell out of a tree and he's hurt really bad." She whispered to us.
"Shit." I muttered rushing out of the room, to where the huddle of students were, outside of the mansion.
"What happened?" Jessie asked me her black hair falling into her eyes as she kept floating up and down.
"Bruno hurt himself. Go find Beast for me; we are going to need him." I told the teenager as she flew off, using her wind powers.
"Alright everybody move!" I yelled toward the kids running toward the small boy. He kept going from invisible to non-invisible.
"Ow! M-miss B-Barton I think I hurt something." Bruno cried as he clutched his arm close to his body.
Suddenly Beat appeared beside me. He walked closer to the boy and took his arm,
"Broken and needs a cast. Nothing I can't fix." He picked up the small boy in his arms, "I'll take him to the infirmary. He'll be fine."
I nodded as he ran off back to the mansion. Suddenly a voice ran through my mind, and everyone else's.
"Alright, everyone get back to what you were doing." I looked as Charles rolled over to me, a very serious look on his face.
"Broken arm. He will be fine." I told him, but a small smile appeared on his face.
"I know, love. I can read minds." He whispered in my mind. I bent down and kissed him softly on the lips. He started to deepen in when a chorus of Ews rang out around us.
I stepped back from him and ushered all the kids away. I sat down in his lap and he smiled,
"How are we supposed to move if you're sitting on me?" He asked with a smirk clear on his face.
"We don't have to move. " I murmured into his neck, wrapping my arms around him.
"Unfortunately we do, darling." He told me, kissing me on the forehead. I sighed getting up from his laugh and began pushing him out of the courtyard.
"So…how many names do you think Bruno will get on his cast?" I asked him.
"How will we get the names on there?" He asked me as I sighed.
"Sharpies. But, they haven't been invented yet." I told him, as rolled him back into his office.
"Sharpies? That's an odd word." He curiously said.
I laughed thinking, about the strange, colorful markers,
"Yeah, I guess it is."
New York, 2013
"Sir, a letter has arrived for Clint Barton." JARVIS told Tony.
"Thanks, JARVIS." Stark told the machine, putting his told down.
"You think Clint has a mission?" Bruce asked Tony, looking intently at the screen in front of him.
"If he does, it better be small. He hasn't been the same since he left Maya."
"Yeah." Banner agreed, wiping the oil of his hands. Tony grabbed the letter JARVIS set on the table next to him and read the name in shock.
"Speak if the devil. The letter's from Maya." Bruce walked quickly over to Tony and looked at the letter.
"Let's go give it to him." Tony and Bruce jogged out of the lab into the Stark living room.
Dean and Clint were playing Call of Duty while everyone cheered around them.
"Clint, you got a letter." Bruce told the Hawk waving it in the air.
"I'll read it later. I need to kill these guys." Clint muttered and shot one of the guys head off.
"It's from Maya." Stark simply stated and Clint shot off from the couch and grabbed the letter out of Bruce's hand.
The SuperWhoVengers soon crowded around Clint as he began to read the letter out loud. When, he finished there was a hushed silence in the tower.
"Well we know she's ok." Sam whispered as Clint just sat there, staring at the letter in his hands.
"Yeah." He choked out and ran off to his room. Right after him was the Widow, who's been at her partner's side as much as possible after the mission.
Everyone sort of went separate ways. The Winchesters sitting back down to play more video games, Bruce and Tony to the lab, Cap to the training room, and The Doctor and his companions to the TARDIS.
JARVIS saw all the sadness and pain as the SuperWhoVengers went their separate ways. He mentally sighed as he began processing a call to SHEILD. They all needed something to take their mind off of their missing tiger.
A/N: Fluffy and sad. Sorry I haven't been writing lately. My birthday is on Wednesday and I to plan this AWESOME party I had Yesterday! I wish the SuperWhoVengers could have been there, but unfortunately I don't own the characters…Please review!
