In the beginning of time, when the first universe that would become the progenitor of the infinite timelines of the narrative of Azur Lane, Was a cosmic cube. A silver cube the size of a man's hand, Left as a way to observe the flow of reality across the existence birthed from it, and from that cube, a reality began to form. Like the countless realities created from the infinite other cubes much like this one, each took on a very different narrative, a different story.
This is that story.
Across the infinite dimensions of the multiverse, to it's very edge, where reality meets the vast whiteness of the "Paper" on which reality is drawn, lies a wall. This wall is not just a wall in the physical sense, it is a wall of abstract, conceptual divine metals, protecting the "paper" from the strange anomaly that is the multiverse. Yet beyond that narrative, beyond the strange concepts, more and more of these realities came into being, an uncountable amount of existences blooming and dying all at once, like an enticing song that crescendos and falls before you could even blink.
The "Paper" tried it's hardest to contain these realities, sealing them with these conceptual walls, and for an uncountable amount of time, it had succeeded. However, Beings from within one of these walled realities escaped, and they invaded other realities, destroying and doing as they pleased.
These beings where known as "The Beyonders", And they had found something interesting in their travels. They found the narrative of Azur Lane.

For billions of years, the universe branched off into countless timelines. Each timeline created by every different thing that happened, from the smallest to the largest, it continued growing, it's narrative expanding and diverging infinite times every second. In some, humanity rose to conquer the universe, traveling through space and finding the truth of their existence. In others, humanity never came to be. In even further timelines, the cold empty universe imploded on itself.
In this one, Man conquered the seas, expanding ever outward.
Until the Sirens arrived and forced man back from the waters, forming a vicious assault on the world of man. However, in their hour of darkness, men and women from across the world came together and formed Azur Lane, the last resistance of Humanity, and in that hour they created the KANSEN, Weapons of incredible power, formed by the collective consciousness of humanity, and pushed the Sirens back, retaking what was rightfully theirs.
However, the war was not over. Not by a long shot. To this day man and machine alike struggle against the Siren Menace.
Then, someone amazing appeared from within mankind, a timid man from the Eagle Union named Owen Reece. A man who could turn the war on it's head completely. If only he knew the massive power that resided within himself.
As of now, he knew not the wellspring of destruction and creation that lay dormant within himself, nor did the sirens. But they would soon find out. Everyone would find out.
