After his delusions, the next chapter is going to be uploaded on Thursday.
Interlude III
It is easy, so easy. Security is low, and with many people arriving and leaving the building, I casually stroll in. She is beautiful. My angel dances and sings; with every movement, she seduces me once again. She does it only for me. From her circle of blinding light, she looks my way, down from the stage, and right into my eyes.
I have to force myself to start what I have to do. As much as I love her, she has to learn her lesson. Just a little scare. That is all she needs to remember that she's mine. She is getting distracted by the people around her, and she should have only eyes for me.
I find my way into the backstage area. All doors are open; it is easy. With the clothes I chose, nobody is giving me a second glance. Everybody here is part of the crew, whether the handyman, the guys for the stage, the dancers or the security guards. I snort at remembering the latter. They do a disastrous work, only being here to be near her. I'm disgusted.
I sigh. There she is again, and I stay still for a few seconds to drink in her glorious sight. My dear angel is dancing below me, and I can hear her enchanting voice calling out to me. Her love song fills my ears as I reach for the spotlight. Just a little scare to make her remember that she's mine.
I watch the spotlight fall. I know I have to leave, but I have to see this. Her bodyguard is there. He pushes her away. But why does he hug her to his chest? Why does she cling to him? How dare he to keep her wrapped in his arms? The way he touches her...
I wish he would drop dead. I wish the spotlight would have hit him at a worse angle. I need to do something to make sure that she isn't leaving me. That she remembers that she is mine. Nobody, nobody, nobody is allowed to touch her! I will make sure they know it. I will make sure that she remembers it.
