I am so very sorry! I've been so busy these few months, that I forgot about these, and having writer's block, for this story, (Though I have been writing one shots for other stories,) and then theres testing, and projects, and midterms, Oh my!. Moving to Chicago was hard. Having to leave friends behind and what not. Things are going okay in Chicago right now. I haven't made that many friends in school yet though, :/ But enough about my personal life, here you go! new chapter! I checked my email three days ago and saw that someone new had commented and followed this fanfic, which motivated me to write this. Enjoy! :)
Rei stormed back to the kitchen. She slamed the door open, sat down on her seat, and began eating. The other mates stared at her as she gobbled down all the food.
"Uh...Rei? Is something the matter?" asked Penguin.
"No, nothings wrong. Just start eating. Law just needs to finish some 'buisness', and then he'll join us..."
Rei replied as she continued to eat.
After eating, she wiped her mouth, placed her plate in the kitchen sink, and headed off to her room. On her way there, she sees Law and Aki walking to the kitchen. As they walk passed each other, Rei gives Law a cold glare.

Rei sits in her room engrossed in a very interesting mystery book. Just as things were about to heat up in the book, a knock at the door yanked her out of her little fantasy world, and back into reality. She rolled her eyes and moaned, as she hopped off her bed, and placed the book on the drawer next to her bed. Rei opens the door to see Law standing on the other side.
"Oh, you..." Rei said in a non excited way.
"What do you want?" Rei said coldy.
"Hey that's no way to talk to your captain..." Law said
"Oh right, I'm so sorry, Captain..." Rei replied. Law tries to ignore Rei's rudeness.
"We need to talk..." he said. Without asking, he steps into the room and shuts it.
"Well what?" Rei asked
"You should have knocked when you came to call us. Her and I were negotiating..." Rei chuckled at the word, 'negotiating'
"Psh, yea right. I bet you do this to lure all the girls, use them, and then cast them aside."
"Hey, whats you're problem?!" Law yells
"Nothing, I just never thought you were a playboy...I just hate, playboys!" replies Rei
"Well if you hate playboys so much, then maybe you should leave!" Law said something he should not have said.
Rei stood there, in the room shocked at what he just said.
"Look, I didn't mean it, I'm sorry..." Law lowered his voice
"Oh no. I'm pretty sure you did." Rei grabs her suitcase, and shoved some of her clothes and belongings into it.
"What are you doing?" Law asks.
"Leaving"
"I told you I was sorry. What more do you want?"
"I don't want any 'more' from you! I don't want to be used!" Rei shouts
"Who ever gave you the crazy idea that I would use you?! You're just jumping to conclusions! Quit acting like a child!" Law shouts back.
Rei ignores him and continues packing.
Law stops her by grabbing her wrist. He pulls her towards him so that the two are face to face.
"Why are you acting like this?" Law asks angrily. He looked at her straight in the eyes. Rei couldn't seem to look directly at him, so her eyes wondered somewhere else.
Rei couldn't figure out why shes acting this way. The sight of Law in bed with another woman made her angry. Could she be jealous? How can she be jealous when shes only known him for a couple of days? Maybe it's because she saw something like this before. Like with her sister and her ex. Yea, that has to be it right?
"Answer me!" Law's grip on Rei's wrist tightened.
"You're hurting me..." she said.
When Law realized it, he let go immediately.
"I'm sorry..." he mumbled.
Rei had finished packing. She walked passed Law, and was about to leave the room. She stopped in her tracks without turning around, and said,
"You can go ahead and sell all those books I just bought. I won't be taking them with me..." she didn't want to see Law's face.
She quickly made her way down the hall, trying to avoid anyone who would try to stop her. Law wanted to go after her, but trying to convince her to stay seemed to be difficult at the moment.
"Rei, where are you going?" Rei turned around to see that Bepo was coming after her.
Oh no... she thought.
"Rei, why are you carrying a suitcase? Are you leaving? Is it because of me? Was it my cooking from the other day? Sumimasen!" Bepo bowed his head.
"Oh, no no Bepo, I'm not leaving because of you. It's just...I have to go." Rei replied.
"But why do you have leave? D:" Bepo made the most cutest face, and making puppy dog eyes.
"Please stay!" he said. It was so cute! She couldn't handle the cuteness, but...
"I'm sorry Bepo, I just can't..." Rei replied to him. Her chest felt like it would burst when she thought about Law and their argument a few seconds ago.
Without another word, she ran away to the exit. Bepo ran after her. She opened the exit that lead her out side the ship.
"Rei, wait!" Bepo yelled.
Not looking back, Rei jumped off the ship, onto the docks, and ran off with the her two bird friends who followed.

Bepo walks back into the ship all upset and depressed.
He sees Law exiting Rei's room.
"Captain!" Law turns to look at him.
"What is it Bepo?"
"Do you know the reason Rei left?" he asked.
"No, I don't know the reason...just let her be..." Law said in exhaustion. He gently face palmed himself, thinking how stupid he was, and how he let his rage get the best of him.

Meanwhile, Rei stopped running and began to walk. It was pretty dark, and the town she was in this morning was feet away. She could only see the lights and the buildings.
She continued walking down the lamp lit path. Rei heard the sound of light tapping from behind her, followed by this strange presence that someone was there. She quickly turned around, but there was no one.
She turned around and began walking again, but she heard the tapping again. She turned back around, but still, no one was there.
"Meow..." Rei heard it from below. She looked down, and there was a white cat with beautiful purple eyes.
"Hey there, kitty. Were you making that tapping sound?" the cat meowed, and purred. Rei knelt down to pet her.
"Are you alone too? Would you like to come along with me?" she asked. Rei needed a friend. And why not a cat?
"Why don't you come with me...?" said the cat.
"What...-" before Rei could say anything else, someone grabbed her from behind. A group of men came from out of the shadows.
"Hel-mmm!-" Rei tried to cry out for help, but the person who grabbed her covered her mouth.
"My lady, what do we do with her now?" one of the men looked down at the cat. The cat then shape shifted into a woman.
"Tie her up, and bring her back to our hideout." said the woman. The men did as they were told. They tied up Rei and covered her mouth. One man, who was pretty big, carried her over his shoulder as if she was a giant heavy sack of rice. The birds tried to help. They pecked at the men, chirping loudly. But the men shooed them away.
"Mmm!" Rei could still see a little bit of Law's ship. If only she was able to call out to someone. Bepo, or Penguin and Shachi, maybe even Law. If only she could.
The birds tried flying back to the ship to ask for help. The green bird decided to follow Rei, and the Blue went back to the ship.

Rei was taken to an abandoned warehouse not too far from the town.
"Fresh Fish" the old rusty sign had said.
The men had put her in an empty room with only one window. They tied her to a chair.
The woman from a few minutes ago walked in.
"Miss Crystals. Do you know why you are here?" asked the woman. She took off the cloth covering Rei's mouth.
"Who are you? What do you want from? How do you know my name?" Rei asked her.
"Where are your manners? I asked you a question first. Now answer it! Do you know why you are here...?" said the woman.
"No..." replied Rei.
"Well, I'll tell you why. I heard you used to be a singer in your home town, no?"
"I was..."
"I've also heard that you have joined the Heart Pirates. You are their newest member correct?"
Rei remembered the argument again. She became mad again.
"Not anymore..." Rei mumbled
"Whats that? You aren't a member anymore? What a shame. But you are still of use to me." said the woman. She was now walking back and forth.
"You see, Law is known as the Surgeon of Death. But he also is known to care for his crew. He'd risk his life for one of his nakama." Rei found that hard to believe. He was such a jerk.
"You are...or were, his nakama. Either way, he still cares about you."
Yeah right, Rei thought.
"So, I'm going to use you as bait to lure him in. I'll offer him a trade. You, for the money stole from me a couple of years back. Then after that, I'd kill you..."
"Law won't do it..." Argued Rei.
"Well, we'll just have to find out, won't we?" grinned the woman. Then she left the room.
What was Rei going to do now? She's tied to a chair, and the only way out is the window, but she cant make it over there.
That's it! The window! Rei thought.
Rei turned her head to see that the window was open just a little bit. Lucky for her, that is what she needed.
Rei began whistling. A gust of wind formed, and it flew out of the cracked open window. She was sending a message. Hoping Bepo or someone would hear it. But the message was cut short when a man came in wondering what all the ruckus was.

The blue pecked on the door, and Bepo came to answer it.
"Rei!" he said as he opened the door. When Bepo saw the bird he was disappointed. The bird chirped, trying to get his attention, and tugging on his orange jumpsuit.
"What's wrong? Did something happen to Rei?" Not a moment too soon, a gust of wind hit Bepo in the face. The wind whispered in his ear, Help! I got kidnapped by some morphing cat lady! I'm stuck in a warehouse called...! It was the sound of Rei's voice! But the message had stopped there. And she was in trouble!
"Captain! Captain!" Bepo ran to look for Law.

Rei was still waiting, hoping someone on the ship got the message. Suddenly, the woman came bursting in.
"What the hell have you done?!" yelled the woman.
"What are you talking about...-?"
"Don't play dumb with me! Law and the rest of his crew are out looking for you! I just received a report from my men, saying that Law has been checking every warehouse in the town, looking for you!" Rei was a bit glad. The message had actually gone through.
"My lady, Law and his nakama are on their way here. We must go, now..." a man had said while walking in.
Enraged, the woman kicked Rei. Her and the chair fell onto the hard wooden floor. Rei glared at the woman with cold eyes, and the woman grew more angry. She began to beat Rei. Beat her till the point where Rei was coughing up blood.
"Captain, we must go now!" said the man.
"Wait, I'm not finished with her yet..." The women knelt down next to Rei. Rei was breathing heavily.
"What are you...-? Rei started to say. The woman placed her right hand on her shoulder, and Rei began to glow.

Law and the other nakama busted the entrance open, only to find that no one was there. They searched the entire warehouse, but there was no sign of a single person.
"Captain, I found something!" Shachi had found the room where Rei was being held. Law walked in, to see blood on the floor. He saw the chair, and Rei's clothes, but Rei was not there.
"We're too late..." Law sighed in frustration.
Meow... Law heard a small meowing from under Rei's clothes, and saw something moving from underneath them.
Law lifted the clothes to see a white fluffy kitten, shivering, with a little bit of blood at the corner of her mouth. And around the kitten's neck, was the golden medallion that Rei had always wore around her neck.
