Sorry for taking a bit, I just got a new computer and had to wait a bit before getting the writing program that I use onto this computer.

Chapter XIX
Shower Time
The spray of water against Nico face was cold.
The water shot from the chrome shower head and onto Nico back in liquid pellets.
They tapped on his back in fast droplets. Once one hit his back it liquefied and slid down his body with ease. It felt nice against his boiling skin.
Nico thought when he first stepped into the spray that the droplets should have been sizzling once they touched his skin.
Nico looked down at his hands as they pruned. He doesn't know how long he had been in the shower, but it cooled his fever, they had called it a fever. Nico does not know what it is; just that it's painful. His skin should be bubbling; but when he looked down at his body he sees his skin pulled taut around his bones.
A vile taste came up his throat.
Nico closed his eyes and squeezed his patterned hand together. He stayed like that until the taste went right back down his throat and where it came from.
He did not want to throw up any more; he did enough of that last night after dinner.
They had had soup with corn, well, he had soup with corn (Demeter, later yelled at the two for giving him something that even a healthy human's digestive track doesn't know what to do with); Hazel and his dad had an actual meal. Nico tried to remember what they had: some sort of meat, something green, and a hot roll.
It had smelt amazing; but it made Nico throw up at the sight of it.
Nico doesn't remember much after that; he thinks he fainted.
He had woken up with the soup next to him, no corn, and his father next to him.
Hades had helped him sit up and eat the food; it tasted like nothing. Just, water.
Nico opened his mouth and drank some of the water that fell from the shower head.
A soft knock sounded from the other side of the washroom door, warning him that he needed to get out soon.
Nico ducked his head under the spray again and sighed as the water ran against his scalp and down his dark hair, separating the strands into smooth, shiny, parts that fell into his eyes.
Nico tilted his head back and pushed his hair from his face before he shut off the water.
Nico pulled back the white shower curtain and stepped out of the tub; onto the plush light blue mat. It became wet under his feet, becoming a dark colour under his toes.
Nico looked up when the door to the washroom cracked open and Gavin slipped in. He closed the door behind him, and turned towards Nico with his eyes closed and a white fluffy towel spread out in his hands.
"Not lookin'." He said with the corner of his lip tilting up.
Nico hummed and walked into the towel. Gavin wrapped the towel around Nico as Nico burrowed deeper in his embrace.
"Feelin' betta?" Gavin breathed into Nico's ear. Nico nodded into Gavin's chest.
"That's good." Gavin intoned as he rubbed the water off of Nico's body with the towel. Nico smiled softly.
This was nice.
Hoped you liked this chapter, I didn't really know what to write and this is what came of it.
Remember to please review! It means a lot.
