15. Tears

15 – Tears

She can't remember when she cried the last time. Not when Anakin died, or when she killed Jacen. Not when she broke up with Jag. Jaina is strong.

Sword of the Jedi.

She is a Master, newly named. She is fighting a tribe of Sith in the heart of the Temple. And Stang she is so tired she wants to lie down and sleep but she can't. The Force burns inside her like liquid fire – Anakin burned like that – and exhaustion pulses through her body but she keeps fighting.

Tears on her face. She just wants to go home.
