"I do not like her... Not one little bit." Cassidy muttered in disgust and fury, as she watches her friend Devin kiss the supermodel, Nikki Valentina on the set of Ocean Alert. 'I swear when I get my hands on her she'll...'
While Cassidy was lost in her thoughts, A man -presumably with security- walked up to her. "Excuse me Miss, you're going to have to leave!"
Cassidy scoffed. "What, no you can't do that to me! I'm with the press and I have a pass!"
Despite Cassidy's protests, the man gently grabbed her arm and began pull her forward, and towards the exit of the set. While the man continued to pull Cassidy forward, they passed by three people coming onto the set, Conner McKnight, Ethan James, and Kira Ford.
Cassidy's face lit up with hope at the sight of them, "Th-They know me! Come on guys tell him!" In spite of Cassidy's plea, none of the 3 did anything to help her. Conner merely outstretched his arms showing that he wouldn't help, Ethan laughed, and Kira looked back at Cassidy with a teasing smile and a look in her eyes that said: 'Yeah, that's what you get!' while also laughing, of the three, Kira's reaction hurt the most.
Looking bewildered, Cassidy gave one last plea attempt "TELL HIM WHO I AM!" Before being pulled further by the security guard.
'I can't believe them! I know we aren't really the bestest of friends but still!' Cassidy thought feeling betrayed.
The Man finally began to come to a stop after they had left the set, "Don't even think about coming back in!" He said before closing the gates to the Beach Set of Ocean Alert behind him and walking back to the set, leaving Cassidy completely and utterly alone.
"I swear I'm going to make them all pay!" Cassidy swore angrily.
Mesogog's island
"You've both failed again!" Mesogog roared at Elsa and Zeltrax for their newest failure. "You are both COMPLETELY USELESS!"
During the last word, A beam shot out of Mesogog's forehead and hit both Elsa and Zeltrax, causing them severe pain.
After several seconds, Mesogog ceased the attack. "My Lord, we can still fix this! We will fix this! We'll target that same woman again and recapture her!" Zeltrax screams out of desperation. He quickly ran up to the monitor, however instead of it showing Nikki again, it showed Cassidy, who was still fuming outside the set.
Mesogog looked on at the screen in curiosity, "It's her. She's the one." He growled out quickly narrowing his eyes, Seeing how angry Cassidy was and the potential she had. "Capture her and bring her here immediately, Zeltrax. That is if you don't wish to be punished again."
Zeltrax didn't need to be told twice. He quickly left and teleported away towards Cassidy's location.
Elsa looked at the screen and recognized Cassidy. "My Lord, I think I know that girl! She goes to the High school, her name is Cassidy Cornell. She is one of the School news reporters, and she's always trying to discover why the Rangers are always hanging out together. It looks like she got kicked off the set and the Rangers refused to help her.
Mesogog smirked wilidly at that information. "Good. We can have someone against the Rangers from inside their personal lives!"
Back by the Ocean Alert set
As Cassidy continues to seethe with anger, Zeltrax materializes near her, his presence sudden and menacing. Startled, Cassidy turns to face him, her eyes widening in surprise.
Zeltrax sneers, his voice dripping with malicious intent, "Well, well, well, if it isn't Cassidy Cornell, the nosy reporter. Said Zeltrax, He takes menacing strides toward Cassidy, his eyes fixated on her. "You're in quite a predicament now, aren't you?"
Cassidy takes a step back, her initial shock quickly turning into defiance. "Who are you? What do you want?"
Zeltrax chuckles darkly. "Oh, my dear, you'll find out soon enough." With a swift motion, he draws a weapon from his side, a futuristic device pulsating with an eerie glow. "But first, I need to make sure you won't be causing any trouble."
Before Cassidy can react, Zeltrax activates the device, releasing a surge of energy that engulfs her in a blinding light. She screams in pain as the energy courses through her body, leaving her weakened and disoriented.
As the light dissipates, Cassidy finds herself restrained by an energy bind, unable to move or escape. Zeltrax smirks triumphantly, relishing in his victory. "Now, you're coming with me whether you want it or not!"
Zeltrax grabbed Cassidy, and put her over his shoulder to carry her. "You're not going to get away with this!" Cassidy yelled, trying her best to get herself free.
Zeltrax only laughed at Cassidy's attempts to free herself.
With a flick of his wrist, Zeltrax activates his teleportation device once again, whisking Cassidy away to Mesogog's island stronghold. The pair disappears in a flash of light, leaving behind only echoes of Cassidy's anguished cries.
Back on Mesogog's Island
Cassidy, still being carried by Zeltrax restrained by the energy bind, is forcefully led into a dimly lit room. In the center of the room stands the same interrogation chair where Nikki was held captive earlier, a haunting reminder of the horrors that took place there.
Zeltrax, his eyes filled with sadistic pleasure, pushes Cassidy down onto the cold metal chair, securing her restraints tightly. Cassidy struggles against her bindings, her eyes darting around the room in fear and determination.
"Let me go!" Cassidy screamed, straining against her restraints even more. "You can't do this to me!" As Cassidy screams, Mesogog and Elsa enter the room.
"Ah, welcome Ms. Cornell!" Mesogog 'welcomed'. His voice more terrifying than anything Cassidy had ever heard or even imagined before.
"What do you want from me?
"You see, Cassidy," Mesogog sneers, his voice dripping with malevolence, "I'm going to give you a special treat. We will reveal to you the identities of the Power Rangers, those friends who betrayed you."
Cassidy's heart pounds in her chest as a mixture of anticipation and dread fills her. She fights to maintain her composure, not wanting to give any of them the satisfaction of seeing her fear.
Mesogog approaches a control panel, his fingers dancing across the buttons, and the room's lights dim even further. The sound of mechanical gears reverberates through the air as a large monitor descends from the ceiling, displaying images of Conner, Ethan, and Kira morphing into their respective Ranger forms.
Cassidy looked on at the screen in a mixture of shock, anger and horror. "No... It can't be.. They're the Power Rangers, and they betrayed me..."
Mesogog, Elsa, and Zeltrax all laughed evily at Cassidy's reaction. It was only a matter of time, and Cassidy could easily soon be a weapon against the Power Rangers..
