18 – Freedom

The children chased down the street. They passed him in a blur: all color, life and laughter. To them, he's just another faceless man in bounty-hunter armor.

This freedom to just be, laugh and make his own decisions and mistakes: Jag never had something like that. No real childhood. The decision to join the military was made for him, too, and then he became tangled up in politics. Nowadays, even personal decisions were made on the basis of what needs to be done.

Except this time.

He loves Jaina out of is free will. Nothing will ever change that fact.
