"Oh. My. God." Cell usually enjoyed spending time with his fellow members of the hating-Goku club but when Frieza was failing to learn instant transmission for the millionth time, he found it rather hard. Cooler had learnt it on his second try and yet Frieza was still struggling.

"Cell wait, I think I'm doing it!" The bug-man rolled his eyes and he spun around to look at the galactic emperor. "Eh?" Instead of the expected sight of Frieza scowling darkly as he failed(again), he was slowly fading away, his lower body already gone.

"Frieza, it's called instant for a reason, if you are still here then it wouldn't be called instant transmission. Now that you know that, What in the here is happening to you-WHY IS THAT HAPPENING TO ME AS WELL?!" Cell then turned to a panicking Cooler to see a similar view. He then looked down to realise that whatever it was, it was affecting all three of them.

The trio began to panic as they realised that their souls were disappearing, slowly fading away. No, no, no, no no no no nonononoNO-

When Cell woke up, he was in what looked like a pod not unlike the pod his siblings were stored in. While that would be a cause of alarm for most people, Cell wasn't most people. The more important things that he was currently focusing on was that he could sense the extremely weakened ki of both Frieza and Cooler beside him and that HIS POWER LEVEL WAS NOT EVEN A MILLIONTH OF HIS FORMER POWER! Where the hell were they? Last he checked, he as well as the two ice-jin brothers were fading into oblivion.

'Cooler, Frieza, do you know what happened to us?' he questioned the two brothers, knowing they were most likely as clueless as him but checking just in case.

'What? Wait, why is my power level so low? Why are your power levels so low? Are you lowering your ki on purpose?' Cooler responded, and with the mental shriek from Frieza, the bio-android was convinced that they were as clueless as he was.

'No, and I'm not sure, but I think-' the perfect being paused for extra drama. 'That we're humans.'

The link went silent for a moment before all three of them let out mental noises of extreme anguish, almost immediately quieting down from the headache they received.

'I'm going to find whoever did this and make them suffer.' Frieza spoke, venom dripping from every syllable.

'Y'know, this kind of reminds me of my sibling's pods. Although, I don't think theirs had any liquid in it." Cell clenched his teeth. 'If this is some sort of sick joke from Kami, I am going to kill every namekian I meet next - slowly.'

'Now now Cell, little brother. If we are to figure out what has happened, we must be patient and gather information. That means not killing everyone you meet, you two.' The younger ice-jin scoffed while Cell hummed in acknowledgment. He was just as unhappy with this as the former emperor, but he knew that in order to get what he wanted, sometimes he had to suck up his pride.

'Fine.' The perfect being yielded, ignoring the indignant cries of Frieza.

'First though, we have to get out of these pods.' Cell made to punch open the door, but his body wouldn't obey.

Eh? Cell tried once again but his body was still not moving. What on- ah. Now that he inspected his body further, he registered the fact that he was miniature. As in he was still what humans would call a baby.

.

FUUUUUUU-

The genocidal trio had spent who knows how many years in these pods, and they still couldn't move. By this point, the three had figured out something was probably in the liquid that immobilised them.

Another thing that they had discovered was that they were in a different world. How do they know that you ask? A few months in, something began stuffing their brains full of information. From that, they had learned that they were in a world quite similar to their Earth that had achieved neither space travel nor had been discovered by any pirates or the PTO. The most intriguing thing to Cell though, was that the majority of the population had a unique power called a quirk, a unique power that eighty perfect of the population had.

Aside from that, something all three of them laughed at was that what people considered the ideal job was designated the name Hero! The friends laughed at that for a long while before sobering up. The reason being that along with this well received information, there was a side effect. They hadn't noticed its effects until only a few months ago, a while after they had been sedated and woke up in their pods with earrings not unlike the earrings Cell's 'siblings' had.

They were squabbling when they noticed it. Cell had once again antagonised Frieza and once again Frieza had responded with death threats. The bug-turned-man was pretty confused on why he kept repeating his death threats- by now they all knew he wouldn't follow up on them.

'WHEN I GET OUT OF THIS POD, I AM GOING TO DEATH BEAM YOU UNTIL NOT EVEN AN ATOM REMAINS! IN FACT, YOU SHOULD JUST KILL YOURSELF FIRST- IT WOULD BE LESS PAINFUL FOR YOU THOUGH YOU PROBABLY WON'T YOU MASOCHISTIC OVERGROWN COCKROACH!'

While Frieza and Cooler expected Cell to laugh it off as usual, they did not expect him to turn from laughing obnoxiously to eerily silent.

'...' none of them made a noise, equally confused at what had just occurred.

'Cell. Cell!' Cooler didn't yell, mentally or physically so the usually calm and collected man yelling knocked Cell out of whatever had happened. 'Blurgh… huh?'

'what the fuck Cell?' Freiza demanded, unsettled from what had just happened.

'Uhhhhh-' the aforementioned bug-man turned human was not sure how to respond. 'I zoned out?'

The two brothers deadpanned.

'Cell, we all know that's not true.' If there was one thing imperfect about the perfect being, it was his inability to lie. They had found that little tidbit out when they were attempting to play a game of poker. Whenever he tried to lie, he would turn his head to the side, whistle and look away. To this day, the ice-jin brothers would still bring it up whenever possible.

'... Fine. I don't know." Cell admitted, reluctant to admit that he was just as unaware as to what had just happened as his friends. 'I was about to dumbfound you with my amazing comeback skills but I… I felt different- I blanked out.'

'Your head's still as big as ever, so you can't be that different.' Cooler snarked, noticing the waver in Cell's voice but staying quiet so the man could preserve at least some of his dignity. They all knew how he would get when his pride was insulted- sulky, grumpy and more than happy to kill the person who aggravated him.

'Cell, when we first arrived you said the pods we're in looked like the pods your siblings were in right? The robot siblings?'

'Uh, yeah. Why do you- oh.' Cell came to the same conclusion as Frieza.

'We're being 'programmed' aren't we.' Cooler said, less of a question and more of a statement.

'Yeah.'

After they had figured it out, they spent the time they weren't talking meditating, endeavouring to either slow or stop the process completely. An advantage of having so much free time was that they had years to find a solution. While they still hadn't yet, they had found that meditating was an effective way to slow down the process.

'Uh, guys?'

'What?' Cooler answered amicably, his younger sibling humming in agreement.

'Gero's coming towards us. And not that far behind him is a pretty big power level.' In their time stuck in the pods, a power level would occasionally come towards them, standing in front of the three for a while before turning to leave. While the two galactic emperors didn't have any idea who it was, some part of Cell recognised it as his creator Dr Gero, or at least this place's version of him.

'What?!' Whatever the two were expecting the unknown assailant to be, it certainly wasn't that. It was pathetically low compared to their original power, but compared to their current power? It was easily twice theirs.

Their pods began to shake and hiss. The liquid they had been floating in for the last few years began to evaporate at an exponential rate, generating steam. Cell attempted to stand up and immediately fell over, not being used to standing after years of floating around.

"Nn!" The boy fell flat on his face, turning his head to see that his friends were sharing the same fate as him, tripping over their bare feet and landing painfully on the hard floor.

"Stand up you bumbling fools!" Wow. What a jackass. If that was how the Gero of his world acted, Cell would've obliterated him the first chance he got.

"Now, I am your master and creator and outside that door-'' the mad scientist pointed to a reinforced door to the side, all of them able to hear shouting and banging from outside it. "Are some heroes. Your mission is to incapacitate or kill them and bring them back to me, preferably relatively intact."

Now Cell would've been happy to kill those people outside, but now that he had been ordered too he felt like committing some patricide first.

'Let's test out these vocal chords of ours shall we?' Cell shakily stood up, quickly followed by Frieza and Cooler as their bodies rapidly learnt motor skills.

"No." the smirking boy replied, not expecting a sudden pain to bring him to his knees.

"Cell! What did you do to him!" his siblings immediately came to his defence, Cooler kicking the old man in the chest before putting a bare foot on his head, keeping pressure on the man. While Cooler made sure Gero didn't make any funny moves, Frieza searched him, looking for the cause of Cell's pain.

"Found it!" Frieza held up a remote similar to the remote used to try to shut down android 17 and 18. " Now, what does this do?"

Gero, scared for his life, answered.

"I-Its a remote that connects to your earring which sends false signals to your insula and a-anterior cingulate cortex." Frieza and Cooler blinked while Cell continued to groan in the background.

"What?"

Dr Gero sighed, annoyance overriding terror for a moment. "When I press that button, it connects with your earrings which can make all three of you feel pain."

"Ah." Frieza smirked, causing Gero to shake. "Are you going to kill me?" The scientist asked.

"No, we're going to listen to your commands and kill the people behind the door-of course we are!" Cooler stomped on his head, brain matter and blood getting everywhere as the door finally opened to reveal two wide-eyed heroes. An oblivious Frieza went to help Cell up before noticing the faces his brother was making.

"What are you looking a- oh. Oh."
