20 – Jealousy

When it came to it Jaina was translucent and she knew it. Her emotions showed on her face immediately. It was a nuisance on good days and tedious on others.

"Jaina," Jag said and the way he touched her face told her how much he loved her. "I don't care for them."

And she believed him. Still, it hurt, knowing certain officers of state saw her husband more that she did.

Sometimes Jaina had a look on her face that told him she was far away, somewhere he could never follow. Those were the times Jag felt sick of himself.
