24 – Forever
How many years has it been, she wonders, and tries to count back. Skye is twelve, Padmé five, that means her marriage has lasted fifteen years already. Then, twenty-something years since she left Jag to die in a broken X-Wing, almost thirty years since the Yuuzhan Vong were defeated.
Such a long, long time that Jaina has known the man named Jagged Fel. They have survived wars, politics and their own duties. Throughout the years she has fallen in love with him so often it feels like she has loved him forever.
