"What are you singing, Jay?" Jag is half asleep so his voice is husky; and Jaina might not be blushing from embarrassment only.
"Nothing."
"It's pretty. Don't stop."
Jaina isn't sure whether he's referring to her humming or to her hands in his hair.
She finds herself returning to the tune. It sounds like a half-forgotten memory, soft and soothing. Like a star, it remains hidden when she looks for it directly. But in the end, it returns.
Only when she softly hums it to her sleeping baby she realizes it is the lullaby Mum sang to her and Jacen.
