Chapter 7 – Chosen
Buttercup Pov.
"Mm, this is the stuff!" I said as I took a bite out of my crepe. My eyes slowly looked up from my crepes and looked over at Butch, who sat across the picnic table from me.
He seems to be very confused as he kept on starring at his crepe. "Uh, you ok?" I asked him. Wait why am I even here? Where are my sisters? I turned my head in many directions looking for my sisters, but they we're nowhere to be found. Damn it! How did I end up here with this douche, who don't even know how eat crepe? What the hell?
"Uh, why are you here? Where are your sisters?" He gave me a funny look.
"As you can see I'm look for them. And I have no the hell idea why I'm here." I said continuing to eat my crepe.
"Why aren't you leaving? Don't you need to find you sisters?" He asked trying to get rid of me.
"Why, I can't sit here? There is nowhere on this damn table that have your name on it." I said casually.
"Well, now it is, since I'm sitting here." He said with a smirk.
"Well, I don't give a fuck. So eat your damn crepe before I eat it for you." I demanded.
"You're such a b-"Before he could finish, I leaned over the table and took a big bite out of his crepe, before sitting back down.
"Mm, tasty. Although, it's starting to get soggy." I said licking my lips.
"Damn it! I don't know what to say to you. The fact that you look hot doing that or the fact that you just ate Butch's food." He said smirking at me.
"Uh, I rather you don't say anything." I said as I continued to eat my crepe. I could tell that an argument is about to start upon us two, if he won't shut his mouth of his.
Bubbles Pov.
We sat there in silence eating crepe on top of a small hill in the grass. Boomer continued to eat his crepe slowly; I guess he is savoring the taste of it. I then looked over towards his face. His deep icy blue orbs faced toward the open night sky, as the sunset. I followed his eyes and looked up at the sky myself. As I stared into the orange blue sky, my lips curved up a bit.
Now I understand why Boomer was so interested in this. Even though the sun just set and the sky still orange, I could see the stars. And if I remember these stars meant something. "The Three Worlds." I heard Boomer mumbling to himself.
"What?" I asked staring at him with a confuse face.
"The story, the Three Worlds." He said before getting his last of his last bite of the crepe.
"Three worlds?" I mumbled to myself. A story?
I sat there for a bit staring at the endless sky, still thinking about the story, about the three worlds.
Blossom Pov.
I opened my eyes as a ray of light hit me in the face. "Blossom, you must be careful." A familiar female voice said.
My eyes finally got use to the light, so I slowly open them, to once again find a woman in an elegant pink dress, but with her back still facing me. I took a step closer. "Not to close. The light will harm you." The woman said.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"You need to hurry, we don't have much time." She said.
"Why do I need to hurry?" I asked taking another step closer.
"All you have to do is find them. Find them and they will know everything." She said.
"Find who? I don't even understand? Why am I even here?" I asked with a confused and angry face on.
"You will soon find your answers. All you have to do is believe in yourself, Blossom. Your heart will know when the time comes." She said in a soothing voice.
"But it's so confusing." I cried as tear started to flow in my eyes.
"I don't think my heart is the answer to this." I cried.
"A leader will always remain a leader. No matter what happen to them. I'm not saying only your heart can find you the answers, but the question is, do you want to believe in it." She said.
"I don't know." I said shaking my head as tears slid down my cheek.
But as my tears drop, one by one slowly raised up in front of me, merging together as it turns into a circular light orb. "Look you see, you are believing. Your tears are gathering up." She continued to say.
"Reach out your hand towards it." She directed me. I followed and put my hands near it. The closer I got, the more it glowed to the point I touch it, warm sensation wash through my body.
I watched as it started to get dimmer and dimmer. A pink butterfly flew out of the brightness and landed on my hand. "I see she has chosen you. Like you, she is very confused and only go where the winds take her, but soon she will find a way to make a change to go against that wind." She continued to speak.
"I-"I mumbled as I looked at the delicate pale pink butterfly resting on my hand. It wasn't bright, but its wings were glassy enough to make it shined like a spark of light.
"She chosen you personally, it's rare to see her kind. They would always lurk in the dark under the moon, but I guess this little one has favored you." She said.
But as I moved my other hand to touch it flew on top of my head. "Your friends should be waiting and your sisters must be worried. Now you must go." She said.
"But wait, I still don't know you." I said taking a step closer towards her, "Please tell me who you are."
She turned around slowly towards me, but she bowed her head in front of me "Someone who you know best." She said before raising her head. As she rose to show her face the light got dimmer and dimmer, which cause my eyesight to become blurry for a bit. But once again, what I end up seeing was her light warm smile on her coral pink lips.
As everything turned dark around me, something glowed on my head. The now glowing butterfly softly spread its wings and flew swiftly. My feet moved on its own as I followed the bright pink creature, not know where it will take me.
AUTHOR'S NOTE: Thank you so much for reading this story! I didn't know that the story was going to have this much readers. Anyway, this is a short chapter sorry for. And for those of you readers who want some action by now, probably in the next couple of chapters, I will upload that. And I been wanting to ask you guys this, who is your favorite characters?
