Prologue: What if... there was a Kryptonian Avenger?

Time. Space. Reality.

It's more than a linear path.

It's a prism of endless possibility, where a single choice can branch out into infinite realities, creating alternate worlds from the ones you know.

I am The Watcher. I am your guide through these vast new realities.

Follow me, and ponder the question...

What if?

Imagine that the Multiverse is like a Tree. A solid bark which branches off into numerous extensions all slightly different than each other, each with their own branches, ad infinitum.

The Tree that I watch over, holds variants of heroes that you know.

A Super Soldier from the 40's, frozen in Ice for Decades until he is awakened in the Modern Age.

A Playboy Weapons Manufacturer who saw the devastation that his weapons caused and wanted to make things right with a suit of armor.

A boy bitten by a Spider, who would learn the importance of Great Power and Great Responsibility and become one of the Greatest of Heroes.

And so many more.

But just as there is no single tree in a forest and no single forest in the world, there is no single Multiverse for we live in a vast Omniverse, where everything is truly possible.

Each forest of Multiverses is built around certain individuals or groups.

An abused orphaned boy learns that he is a Wizard and introduced to a World of Magic. Here he would either become the hero and vanquish the monster who murdered his parents, or would become an even Greater Evil.

Another boy, found on a desert world, would be discovered by an Order of Knights and would be trained as their Chosen One. He would become either a Great Evil or a Great Hero.

Or a reality where all of this is from the imagination of an unemployed bloke in his 30's, sitting on his chair, watching the telly and playing on his laptop.

But our story involves the heroes of another forest like mine.

Like the Multiverse I'm familiar with, this one has heroes of its own.

An alien from a doomed world, who becomes Earth's Greatest Champion.

A Man who lost his parents as a child because of a man with a gun, and would grow to become a Dark Knight of Justice.

A Princess of Amazons, who loves a world that he mother and sisters had long believed to be barbaric.

Each tree is planted with different ideals in mind.

A Multiverse focused on a Girl of Steel or a Scarlet Speedster, or both.

A Multiverse which began with an Emerald Archer. It had its ups and downs but I'm sure it'll be remembered fondly.

A Multiverse which seems a bit too dark and gritty for my taste. And don't even get me started on that mustache!

A Multiverse based around the growth of a Man of Steel as his best friend becomes his Greatest Enemy.

And naturally all of these Multiverses have had some sort of Crisis which have all ended with varying degrees of success.

The Multiverse that has been brought to my attention now, is a relatively young one but has already had its Crisis. The reason for my interference is because its protectors - two former Heroes who would give their lives during their own Crisis - have asked for my help with one of his realities.

Like on many Earths in this reality forest, desperate scientists place their infant son, Kal-El in a ship and send him to Earth to become its Greatest Champion, followed swiftly by his elder cousin, Kara Zor-El.

However in this reality, he is also joined by his twin sister, Kara Jor-El, a bright happy little girl who was always smiling.

But while Kal-El arrives on Earth when he is meant to, the shockwave of Krypton's destruction knocks both Karas in different directions. While Kara Zor winds up in the dimensional prison, the Phantom Zone for 24 years before eventually arriving on Earth, Kara Jor winds up somewhere far worse.

Apokolypse.

The Hell-Like world ruled by the personification of Evil himself, Darkseid.

Arriving as a baby on a world where not even her Light would last long, Kara Jor would be raised as his daughter and Greatest Warrior, and at the age of 10 she would become the Leader of His Female Furies after she brutally murdered her mentor, the former leader known as Big Barda.

Darkseid would eventually turn his gaze to Earth, thanks in no small part to the intended destination of His Daughter's ship. His first invasion would be a simple small force, intended to test the worlds protectors - including the two Kryptonians. Darkseid would be defeated by the newly formed Justice League but would not rage.

Instead, he would bide his time and allow them to build their confidence before he destroyed them. And when the time came, his daughter - known appropriately as Worldkiller - would lead the Furies in battle. They would turn the sun red to strip the Kryptonian protectors of their powers, while Kara Jor - due to Desaad's Genetic Enhancements under Their Lords Orders - would keep her power.

The atrocities she committed - particularly against those of her own blood - are so horrific, that I dare not speak of them.

Service to say, Darkseid would reign victorious, and would inevitably turn his gaze onto the Multiverse. On the verge of defeat, The Flash of this Earth would run faster than ever to create a Flashpoint to change history and prevent the End.

Which is where Savitar and the Spectre would ask for my aid. Fearful of what would happen if Kara Jor remained in her native Universe, and unwilling to kill an innocent child, the Gods of Speed and Vengeance would ask me if they could send her to my Multiverse.

And so, we found an Earth on the outer branches as it were, closest to her own native Tree. This Earth was similar to the Prime Earth of this reality tree, with a few differences that kept this world teetering on the brink of either Good or Bad.

Maybe the introduction of the Last Born Daughter of Krypton would tip the balance. But in which direction?

Earth-62.

Middleton, Kansas.

October 1985.

The sleepy farm town of Middleton, Kansas was devastated earlier today by the sudden Meteor Shower that struck them. Dozens were dead and many more were injured. SHIELD was onsite investigating, but the organizations Director, Dame Margaret 'Peggy' Carter was instead driving to a small farm on the outskirts of the town.

Beside her in the car was her Rookie Officer, Nick Fury Jr., the son of one of her old Howling Commando comrades, Nicholas Fury Sr. The man was in his early 40's and Peggy trusted him enough to bring him to where one of her top agents had called her to.

Pulling up at the farmhouse, they were greeted by a tall man, standing at around 6.3-6.4 with a muscular frame. He had black hair and bright blue eyes. This was Colonel James Carter, a former Agent of SHIELD until he wished to leave for personal reasons.

"Director." he said in greeting, his voice full of emotion. "It's good to see you, despite the circumstances." He nodded to the still visible trails of smoke from the meteors.

Peggy shrugged almost nonchalant. "Well, when one of my best agents calls me and states Valkyrie Protocol, then I know it is serious." She waved her hand to her companion. "I'm sure you remember Agent Fury?" she said.

"I do." James acknowledged. He shook the agents hand. "Colonel Fury." he greeted. Despite the two being of the same rank in the U.S Marine Corp. and the same age, Carter looked half his age.

"Colonel Carter, Sir." Fury returned.

Peggy decided to get to the heart of the matter. "What's the situation, James?" she asked.

James nodded his head at the nearby barn. "Follow me. I'll show you." And with that he led them to the barn. He opened the door and let them in, to find they were in a seemingly ordinary barn... except for the suspiciously large object that was covered nearby. Looking up at the loft area, they saw Major Alexandra Carter nee Danvers looking over the railing with something in her arms. She turned away from them.

He brought them to the object. "Alex and I were driving out of town when the meteors hit. One of them clipped our truck and caused us to flip. Both of us were alright but we quickly realized that it wasn't just fire and rock that fell from the sky." And with that he pulled the rag off and revealed the object.

It was a sleek white-silver rocket with an opaque black dome. At one end was a large fin behind the dome and two smaller ones at the sides, in between which was an thruster. The other end extended and slimmed down to a point. Engraved on the hull of the ship was an S inside a diamond-like shape.

Fury looked incredulous. "Is that what I think it is?!" he asked in disbelief.

"If you think it's a spacecraft of some sort, Nicholas, then the answer is yes." Peggy answered, then turned to James. "And its passenger?" she asked, already having a feeling she knew the answer.

At that moment, the answer came in the form of the cry of an infant. The SHIELD agents turned to see Alex standing on the stairs holding a baby with a tuft of black hair, wrapped in a bright red blanket. The Major was currently trying to shush the infant.

Peggy looked at the two and walked over. She looked at the baby and was immediately captivated by a pair of the brightest and bluest eyes she had ever seen. The baby stopped crying and blinked adorably at her.

"We found her in the pod." Alex said, clearly in awe of the little creature in her arms. "She was all alone."

Peggy understood what they wanted to ask her. But it was James who spoke softly to her. "Mom. Can you help us?" he asked his mother.

The Director of SHIELD looked at her son, so much like his father that it sometimes hurt. "We'd have to keep her off of the SHIELD Database, but I think it'd be possible." she said, smiling at her new Granddaughter.

Nick had been silent while the family talked. But soon made his way over to look at the baby, and even a hard man as he was captivated. He tickled the baby's chin, getting an adorable giggle from the little one who reached up her tiny hand and took hold of his finger.

"Strong grip for such a little thing." He noted. "Ow!" he said as the girls grip tightened. "OW! Motherfu-!" he swore in pain as he got his finger free from the abnormally strong grip.

The baby's bottom lip trembled but was quickly cheered up by the people around her smiling at her nicely.

As the small family gathered around their newest member, they didn't notice the figure with a large head and glowing eyes Watching them with a relieved smile.

He hoped this would work out for the best.

Ever since I watched The Flash movie, I've wanted to read something with Sasha Calle's Supergirl. Then, when i decided to put her into the MCU, I considered doing a Reaction Fic but it... restrictive. So i'm just doing the story.

I'll probably work it out as I go.

This is known as Earth-62 because the Amalgam Universe - which was a massive crossover Universe between Marvel and DC - took place in 1996. For Marvel it was Earth-962 while for DC it was Earth-9602.

So its like the Amalgam but not a complete merger.

I made a mention of the Millma Verse by CharmedMilliE- Karry Master and Captain Sigma- Karry Co-Master. this was done with permission by the authors. If you have not read their stories I strongly recommend them all. They are posted on AO3 and on . They are without a doubt the best Karry Stories on the internet.

This is also part of my New Arrowverse Chronicles.
