Ch. 24 Dating?

Elizabeth had been really busy. I had some business keeping me busy. I hadn't had much time to spend with Elizabeth. I missed her. We still talked everyday. I just really wanted to spend some time with her.
"You busy?" I asked as I called her.
"Not really. I finished everything so I can have the whole weekend free." Elizabeth asked.
"Do you have plans this weekend?" I asked hoping she didn't.
"I'm having breakfast with Emily tomorrow and brunch with Grams and Steven on Sunday." She answered.
"Are you busy tonight?" I asked.
"No what do you have in mind?" She questioned back at me.
"Would you like to go on a date?" I asked not liking feeling so unsure like this.
"I'd love to." Elizabeth said sounding excited.
"I'll pick you up at six." I said.
"Where are we going? What should I wear?" She asked sounded suddenly nervous.
"We are going to dinner. Then we'll see." I said to her.
"Okay see you later." Elizabeth said.
"Yeah." I said as I hung up the phone.
"Jason come here for a second." Sonny yelled as I was about to leave wearing my suit.
"What do you need?" I asked.
"Nothing are you busy tonight?" Sonny asked looking at me.
"Yes." I answered.
"Oh Carly and I want you and Elizabeth to come to dinner." Sonny said.
"I'm taking Elizabeth out tonight." I said unwilling to change our plans.
"Like a date?" Sonny asked smiling.
"Yeah." I said.
"Are you nervous?" Sonny asked.
"Very." I answered honestly.
"Don't be this is right she is right for you." Sonny said.
"Thanks." I responded.
"Are the two of you free tomorrow night?" He asked.
"I am for sure. I'll ask Elizabeth." I answered.
"Okay have a great night." Sonny said with a wink.
I had Johnny driving us. We arrived at the studio a little early. I saw Emily she giggled when she saw me. I hoped this meant she would be more supportive. She then winked and yelled for me to have a good time. It felt good to have her approval though neither of us needed it.
"I'm here." I said.
"Oh okay let me grab my purse." Elizabeth said as she came into view wearing a pink dress.
"You look beautiful." I said.
"Thank you. You look handsome." She said smiling at me.
"There are for you." I said handing her the bouquet for different colored carnations.
"Let me get these in some water. I can't wait to paint them." Elizabeth said.
"I'm glad you like them." I said.
"Thank you Jason." She said.
"Are you ready?" I asked.
"Let's go." She answered.
I took her to the Pent House Grill for dinner. Johnny came in with us. The waiter was very attentive. Johnny stood near us. Elizabeth wasn't bothered at all. She even teased him about how good her steak was.
We talked a lot. I wasn't use to talking this much about myself. She talked about school and work. I talked about the coffee warehouse and the guys. She also mentioned Emily. Nikalos and Emily have been spending a lot of time together. I don't like it but it's not my decision.
"Are you busy tomorrow after breakfast with Emily?" I asked.
"No I don't have any other plans than that." Elizabeth answered.
"Sonny invited us to dinner." I said.
"When you say us do you mean you and me?" She asked.
"Yes." I answered.
"Does Carly know?" She asked looking worried.
"He said she did but I'll check." I answered wanting her to be comfortable.
"Then sure I'll go." She responded with her smile back.
"Johnny is going to take us back to your studio. You can change and we'll go for a ride if you want to." I said.
"Great." She said excitedly.
"Okay let me pay the bills and we can go." I said.
When we arrived at the studio I told Elizabeth to go ahead and go change. I grabbed my clothes in the trunk and quickly changed. I put on my normal stuff and grabbed my jacket. I saw Francis standing next to my bike. I went over to Francis. He was smirking at me.
"What?" I asked.
"Nothing how's the date going?" Francis asked.
"Good. I have my bike you can go now." I said annoyed.
"No way I want to see Liz." He said.
Just then Elizabeth came out. She was wearing black and red snake skin pants. They fit her good. She was also wearing a black top and the jacket I gave her.
"She hot man." Francis said.
"I'll give you to the count of three to leave." I said angrily.
"Is this okay?" Elizabeth asked pointing to her clothes.
"Yeah you look good, great." I answered.
"Thanks. I'm so ready. Where are we going?" She asked.
"You'll see." I teased as she laughed.
We arrived at Jake's a short time later. She smiled. We played a couple of games of pool. Then we sat and talked. I had no idea late it was. Then Jake said she was closing. The ride back was fast and quite.
When we arrived at the studio I walked her to her door. I hugged her tightly. I gave her a peck on the lips. We said good night. She thanked me for a good night. I was still energized I went for another ride. When I arrived home it was early morning.
"Good morning. I guess the date went really well." Carly teased.
"It went great. I was out riding though." I said.
"So are you and Muffin coming over for dinner?" Carly asked.
"Not if you keep calling her that." I said angrily.
"Jeeze calm down. Are you and Elizabeth coming to dinner?" She asked.
"Yeah." I answered.
"Good." She responded hugging me.
"See you later." I said.
"Okay." Carly said happily.
