Chapter 9 – Secret Hideout
Buttercup Pov.
The laughing got louder and louder, as a dark figure emerged slowly down the street ahead of us. "What the hell is going on?" I heard Butch said, freaking out.
Bubbles still tearing up and Cam crying his eyes out. "Cammy, mommy's here to take you home." A voice echo from the dark figure.
"We need to get out of here now!" Brick yelled. Since we were a couple steps closer to the school parking lot we all decided to head to our vehicles. Boomer, now carrying Cam ran to his car and I with my hands still on Bubble's grip, I dragged towards our bike.
My sister and I hurried to our bikes and put on our helmets. As soon as we were already to leave, a ball of dark bluish fire hurled over our heads. "Shit!" I heard Butch yelled behind us. We all looked towards Butch and his now in flame car. The dark figure was now getting closer and throwing fire balls at us. Blossom gave a look through her helmet that said 'We don't have much time.' I knew that she was going to owe me for this, but I gave her nod and headed towards Butch on my bike. "My baby, it's dead, gone." He cried throwing his hands to his head.
As soon as I was in front of him, his jaw dropped. I smirked, at his stupid face, but try to keep serious at the same time. "No, time for questions, hop on or die along with your car." I said gritting my teeth, as I reached a hand to him. He grabbed it and as soon as he was on my bike, I headed towards my sister and his brother out on the street.
We were all now on the streets, driving away from the mysterious dark creature. I looked at my side mirror and knew that we were away from the monster, but I could still see her dark aura everywhere. "Damn, she sure looks hot on bike." I heard Butch said. As we head for a turn, he gripped around my waist tighter. I once again smirk, what a wimp, I thought.
I rolled my eyes behind my helmet. Why the hell did I agree to do this? As I continue to follow my sisters and his brother, Butch continued to talk. "She sure knows how to ride a bike. I wonder if she can teach herself. Still the way she moves-"I didn't let him finish his perverted comment.
"Will you shout the hell up!? We're in a pretty bad situation right now, and all you do is talk about perverted things." I yelled.
"What perverted things? I haven't said a word this whole time! Instead, I was almost killed that last turn you turned!" He yelled back at me.
"Damn, she looks so freaking hot on a bike," I mimicked him, "Really, do you think I'm a fucking retard?!"
"What the fuck? How the hell did you know I thought of that? I didn't even say it out loud!" He said with a bit freaking out and surprised in his voice.
"Oh, shut up! Unless you wanna die, before the monster even get you." I said with venom in my voice.
Blossom Pov.
I followed Brick's car as it came to stop at a park. This park was not the other park where we all had crepe and fun, but this park seems abandon and old, it's bigger than the other park though.
I park right next to Brick car, as he got out of it. I took the key out to stop the engine and took my helmet off. Then I looked over to where Brick was waiting for me to get off my bike. I wonder why he chose here.
As soon as I got off of my bike, our sibling came driving in. I went over to Brick, as we watch our siblings head over to us.
"Thank goodness we lost her." Boomer sighed coming over with Bubbles, who was holding Cam's hand.
"Damn, that was a hell of ride. Maybe, next time you should give me some lessons." I heard Butch said from the distance.
"In your damn dreams." BC sighed coming up to me.
I could hear Bubbles sigh as she looked at the two. "You ok?" I asked her giving her a small smile.
"I'm fine. I was just in shock I guess." She quickly returns my smile.
"So why here, Brick?" Boomer said, as Butch walked up to the mini circle.
"Yeah, the abandon park, in this situation?" Butch asked.
"I'm not really sure. Maybe my instinct just told me to go here so here I am." Brick said.
"What do we do now?" Bubbles asked as she looked down at the puffy eyes Cam, who was probably scared this whole time.
"We probably lost her, but I still think she's still on our tail." BC said.
"And if she finds us, she will continue to throw fire at us." Butch said.
"We're doom!" Butch continued. But soon after he finished, Brick hit him in the back of his head.
"Well, I think there's a place here that we could stay. It's actually hideout." Brick said.
"That place? It's so old though. I don't think it's still there." Butch argued.
"Well, we don't know until we find out now, do we?" Boomer said as he headed in front of us to lead the way.
We follow Boomer through the old abandon park. The light was really dim, no electricity was being use to light up the place, except the moon.
"Ouch! Stop walking so close to me!" BC yelled at Butch.
"What? There's no law saying that I can't walk close to people." Butch told BC.
"Guys, bad timing to argue." Bubbles told them as she looked behind.
"Sorry, my bad." BC said as she elbow Butch in the stomach.
"She sure has some moves." Butch gasped out.
"Ok, we're here." Boomer said as he stood aside to let everyone see.
"An abandon playground?" BC asked.
"No, I don't think so? Remember, Brick said it was a hideout, means the place is hidden." I said thinking a bit.
"Oh, look why can't you be as smart? You would p-"BC didn't let Butch finish but finish the statement herself.
"You would probably be as twice as sexy." BC mimicked him.
"See you did it again!" Butch exclaimed.
"Did what!?" BC yelled back.
"That mindreading stuffs!?" Butch said.
"Continue on, siblings. Butch is probably having a tough day for the death of his car." BC announced ignoring Butch. His brothers nodded awkwardly, before headed in front of the group.
"So where the entrance." Bubbles asked them.
"Right here." Boomer pointed a finger to the dome.
Brick walked into the dome as we all followed him. "If I'm right, it would be here." He said lifting up a piece of fake cement.
As he picked up the piece of fake cement, a dark hollow hole was reveal. We all smile in relief as we looked down the hole. "We could jump down. It looks hollow in the dark, but it's actually really shallow." Brick said looking back at us with his red ruby eyes.
Then, suddenly, a loud rumble shook the ground again. I looked back behind the dome, to see a dark aura starting to surround the tall tree. "We need to hurry! She's here!" BC whispered yelled at everyone.
Brick quickly jumped down the hole first. Then Boomer grabbed Cam and handed him down the hole to Brick. Bubbles next, then Boomer, Buttercup and Butch fought on who get to go in first, but of course ladies first.
I quickly looked back at the trees one last time. And there she stood, her dark aura surrounded all around her. Her emotionless eyes stared right through me as her lips curved into a mad smile. "You have my son?" She said from the distance, laughing.
"You have my son!?" This time she was screaming and launched forward towards to the dome.
"Blossom!" Brick yelled my name as he reached up for my hand. The rest of our sibling ran deep into the tunnel in the hole.
I quickly jump down, as Brick hurriedly grabbed the piece of fake cement to cover the hole.
I knew that her black aura was about to grab Brick's elbow to try to stop him from closing the hole, but I quickly helped Brick drag over the heavy fake cement.
As we were about to entirely close the hole from the outside, her dark aura finally reached the crack of the still unclosed hole, trying to pry it open.
"Close, damn it!" I heard Brick cursed under his breath as we continue to close the entrance.
"I said close!" Brick yelled. And with that a flash of red-orange light came out, burning the dark aura around the entrance, which help us closed it.
I gasped for air, for the whole time helping Brick closing the entrance, I was holding my breath. Sweat droplets, formed on my forehead as it drops down the side of my face.
Then I looked at Brick, who was still looking at the entrance of the hole, then back down at his hand. I knew that he was in a shocking state, and grabbed one of his hands gently. He turned to me giving a small smile. Even though the place was dark, there still a dim of light from the moon shine thought the cracks of the hole. Then he sighed, and started to walk with still my right hand in his left. I smile a little bit in relief as I quickly walked his paced.
But once again, everything seems fine at first as we headed towards our siblings, until we both heard a murderous loud scream. Right from the beginning I knew who it was, our feet started to move on it's on as we ran to our siblings. For the first time, I felt that I lost all the hope in the world, but then the words came flushing back to my mind, 'Believe'. And with that word in mind, I felt something grown inside.
AUTHOR NOTES: So now that all three sisters has encounter something strange about themselves, even if one of them probably doesn't realize it, it means something.
