Ch. 30 Operation DD

(Elizabeth's point of view)
Emily had suggested us having a girl's night. Even though I'd miss Jason I could really use a girl's night. I even suggested that Emily spend the night with me. Emily agreed and we made plans for our girl's night in.
I started thinking about Jason. What would Jason think? Would he see me having a sleep over with his little sister as immature? I sighed and picked the phone up.
"Hey." I said as Jason answered his phone.
"Do you need something?" He asked sounding distracted.
"Um no are you busy?" I asked.
"Yeah a little. Can I call you back later?" He asked.
"Sure talk to you later." I said knowing this could wait.
I started getting thing ready for my sleep over with Emily. I got my CD player out. I dug out a few CD's I didn't think Emily had. Then Francis and I took a snack run. Francis insisted on carrying all the bags. We talked about Jason he said Jason would want me to spend time with Emily.
I pulled out my pajamas. After I put them on I did my hair. I put it in a pony tail. As I looked at the snacks I realized I forgot Big Red and its Emily's favorite. After trying to call Jason again with no answer I went and opened the door.
I was going to ask Francis to get some when his relief arrived. I knew I could call Johnny but I didn't really want him to see me in my pajamas. I opened the door quickly. I was shocked to see Jason getting ready to knock. Jason smiled a little as he looked at me.
"I'm guessing you weren't expecting to see me." Jason said.
"No I wasn't. Did Francis leave?" I asked.
"Yeah he asked if he could get off early he has a date." Jason answered.
"Oh." I said.
"Johnny was supposed to be here but Sonny needed him." Jason said.
"Oh uh so who is guarding me?" I asked.
"Well Max is available for an hour. So the other guys are all tied up so I will be." Jason answered.
"Um could you see if Max would go get some Big Red?" I asked.
"Sure." Jason responded.
"Thank you." I said.
"Emily's coming over?" Jason asked after he got off the phone with Max.
"Yeah to hang out." I answered vaguely.
"In your night clothes?" Jason asked.
"She's staying over night." I answered.
"Oh." Jason said.
"I need some girl time and Emily too." I explained.
"I'm sorry I can call around or see if I could help Sonny and send Johnny here." Jason said.
"No it's fine you can stay." I said.
"Okay Liz I brought lot of boy band music and some new make-up." Emily shouted as she came upstairs.
"Hi Emily." Jason and I said at the same time.
"I thought it was girl's night?" Emily asked me in a whisper.
"It is I'm just guarding Elizabeth." Jason said.
"Seriously?" Emily asked looking between us.
"Come on in." I said to Emily.
"Sorry Em I had no idea he would be here. I felt a little funny saying we were having a sleep over plus he was busy earlier." I tried to explain.
"Why?" Emily asked.
"It seems a little immature us having a sleep over." I said looking away.
"Oh Liz he loves you for you." Emily said.
"I know. I've missed this." I said.
"Me too." Emily said.
"I've missed seeing Nikalos also." I said.
I have an idea." Emily said with that sneaky glint in her eye.
"Okay." I said slowly.
"We should do a double date?" Emily suggested.
"How the heck am I supposed to convince Jason to do that?" I asked.
"You've spent time with Sonny and Carly it's his turn and Nikalos and I are way better than them." Emily said.
The rest of our sleep over was fun. We sung and danced. We played all of our favorite boy band music. We talked about Jason and Nikalos. Emily even invited Jason in for pizza. Then she conned Jason into the double date.
[Two days later]
"Why did I let you and Emily talk me into this?" Jason asked.
"I didn't talk you into anything. And Emily had a lot of good points." I said.
"Yeah well Nikalos better not spend the night drooling all over my sister." Jason said making me laugh.
"Jason just relaxes and has fun." I said.
"Are you sure you want to eat here?" Jason asked.
"I know Lucky would want me happy. And yes this is where we had our first real date but I want to make new memories with you." I answered.
"Wow Liz you look great." Emily said as her and Nikalos arrived.
"Thank you and you both do as well." I said.
"Good to see you." Nikalos said to me with a hug and then I hugged Emily.
"Hello Jason." Nikalos said politely stick out his hand.
"Nikalos." Jason said shaking his hand and then hugging Emily.
"Mr. Morgan welcome." The Host said.
"Reservation for four." Jason said.
"Right this way Sir." The Host said.
"Your Waiter will be right with you." He said leaving us.
"How are classes going?" Nikalos asked me.
"Much better though I can't wait for fall break. I don't know why I decided to take classes all summer." I said.
"I can't wait for fall break either." Emily said.
"How are thing with you?" I asked Nikalos.
"Good the business is busy. My uncle is sure that I can't handle this." Nikalos responded.
"Hello my name is John I will be your waiter. What can I get you to drink?" Our Waiter asked.
"I'll have water." Emily said.
"Me too please." I responded.
"Club soda please." Nikalos said.
"I'll have water also." Jason said.
"You could've ordered a drink." I said to Jason/
"I'm driving." Jason said.
"I could drive." I said.
"You want to drive Sonny's new BMW?" Jason asked.
"Maybe not." I said laughing.
"Nikalos are you still driving your Jag?" I asked knowing how much he loved that car.
"Yeah but Emily's been bugging me to buy the Plymouth Prowler." Nikalos said.
"Jason how's your bike?" Emily asked.
"What kind do you have?" Nikalos asked.
"Harley it's a little older but in great shape." Jason answered.
"Nice." Nikalos responded.
Emily and I kept the conversation going. Both guys said as little as possible. Finally I got Emily alone. We were talking about the guys not talking to each other. Then I noticed Jason looked angry and Nikalos looked upset.
Neither guy would tell Emily and I what they had been talking about. I kept bugging Jason when Nikalos and Emily went to dance. Then Jason tried to distract me by asking me to dance. I agreed.
We danced quietly. I saw Nikalos and Emily out of the corner of my eye. Nikalos kissed Emily. Then they both smiled. When we returned to the table both Nikalos and Jason seemed fine.
The rest of the night went well. Then I suggested we all go back to my studio. We watched a movie. Nikalos and Emily left a short time later. Jason and I fell asleep.
