Ch. 31 Baby's and Business
Author's Note: Thank you so much for reading and reviewing. Sorry this has taken so long. I have a bunch of excuses lol. I am working hard to finish this story. Also this chapter starts in Elizabeth's point of view and will finish in Jason's point of view.

(Elizabeth's point of view)
Jason and I were about to go for a ride. His phone rang. It was Sonny calling. He sounded panicked. He said Carly was in labor. We rushed over to their Pent House. Michael looked so scared. I did my best to soothe and distract Michael.
Carly was in a lot of pain. Jason helped Sonny get Carly to the car. Jason and I stayed with Michael until Leticia returned. When we arrived at GH we saw Bobbi. She said Carly had delivered her baby girl.
We waited for about 20 minutes before Sonny came and got us. He looked exhausted but so happy. After he hugged us both he led us to Carly's room. Jason and I held hands and followed him.
"Hi guys." Carly said quietly.
"This is our daughter Morgan Adela Corthinos." Sonny said.
"She's beautiful." I said pecking at the baby.
"Would you like to hold her?" Carly asked.
"I'd love to." I answered as Sonny took his daughter and placed her in my arms.
"We had a question for you both." Sonny said as I smiled down at the baby girl.
"What's that?" Jason asked.
"I don't have many female friends." Carly said a little sad.
"We're friends now." I said truly believing it.
"Yes we are. Sonny and I want you and Jason to be Morgan's God parents." Carly said.
"We'd love to." Jason said as I nodded.
"Do you want to hold her?" I asked Jason.
"Yes come here Morgan." He said.
"How are you feeling?" I asked turning my attention to Carly.
"Tired but very happy." Carly answered.
"She's amazing Carly." I said looking at Morgan once again.
"Thank you. Do you want kids?" Carly asked me.
"Yes I do. I'm afraid though." I said.
"What are you afraid of?" Carly asked.
"My parents they always made me feel like I wasn't good enough." I said.
"I think you'll make a great mother one day." Carly said.
"Thank you so much Carly." I said hugging her.
"I need to take Morgan to be checked out. So she can hopefully go home tomorrow." A nurse said interrupting us.
"Okay." Carly said kissing her daughter.
A short time later Sonny asked to speak to Jason alone. Carly and I both mouthed business at the same time and then laughed together. I sat with Carly. We talked about baby clothes. We also talked about her wanting to get Michael a special gift. She didn't want him to left out.
We also talked about me doing some art for Michael's room. I told her once Morgan was home I wanted to do a special family portrait for them. She was honored. She said she loved my art as did Sonny. She also suggested I do some pieces for Jason's place. I told her all about the Wind.
(Jason's point of view)
Morgan was beautiful. Carly asked Elizabeth and I to be her God parents. I was glad they asked us together. I'm excited to watch her grow up. This time around I will get to be this baby's Uncle without all the drama. Sonny asked to talk to me alone.
"What's wrong?" I asked once it was just he and I.
"We need to make sure the business doesn't touch our family." Sonny said.
"I agree." I said.
"I've hired four new guards. I've also moved Johnny and Francis up to senior guards." Sonny explained.
"Good idea. Also I'd like to step back a little." I said not sure how Sonny would deal with that.
"So you and Elizabeth are getting serious?" He asked knowingly.
"Yes I mean not marriage or anything yet. She's in school and still so young." I said.
"Elizabeth is good for you. The age doesn't matter. It's good to see you happy and planning a future." Sonny said sincerely.
"She makes me happy." I admitted.
"I will help you as much as I can. I owe you so much." Sonny said.
"I owe you too." I said.
"No you've more than paid me back." Sonny said.
"So you aren't mad that I want to do less enforcing?" I asked.
"No Carly and I were talking a few weeks ago. She said then that you would need to step back soon. So I have had time to think and figure out things." Sonny said.
"How are we dividing the guards?" I asked.
"Well Francis and Milo will be Elizabeth's main guards with Ronnie and Steve going back and fourth between them. Johnny and Max will be Carly and Michael's main guards. Also Drew the new guy I hired will be keeping an eye on Emily and Bobbi as we need him to." Sonny explained.
"Sounds like you have a good plan." I said.
"And if anything happens we can hire more help." Sonny said.
"I just want everyone safe. I don't like Elizabeth living in her studio." I said.
"I know and I figured you don't plan for her to live there too much longer." Sonny hinted.
"Yeah probably not." I said.
