Chapter Thirty-One - The Quibbler

Dear Harry Potter,

I do hope this letter finds you in good health and that the wrackspurts have not infested your life yet. I am Luna Lovegood, I go to Hogwarts as well, friend of Ginny's! You most likely don't know me yet, don't worry, I will not take too much time from you. Don't worry about me, I already know we will become friends sometime in the future, Jupiter and Mars are aligned and the Diricawls are starting to harvest figs, so that is a fact.

Me and my father would just love to tell you that we are with you and stand behind you! That You-Know-Who is back, has been a great burden to us all, but together we will make it through. The centaurs told me so.

Anyways, my dad is the owner of the Quibbler, a very trustworthy unconventional newspaper. I have heard of the kindness you showed to buckbeak and the werewolves in the forest, my father regards you highly because of it. Would you be so kind to perhaps answer a few questions for us? You have great experiences with magical creatures. And your flying skills are truly dragon like. My father told me this only happens every century. We would be really interested in a few answers about it. You look so free in the sky, everyone should take an example of that! For myself, I love to grow rare flowers and dry herbs for the Alfs and garden Gnomes in our back garden. Everyone should have their own thing.

We would love to do a feature about your flying skills, would you mind telling us something about it?

May the sun always shine for you.

Warm regards,

Luna Lovegood (Please just call me Luna)

Dear Luna,

Thank you for your kind letter. I must confess that not all of your mentioned magical creatures are known to me, but they sound promising, thank you! Perhaps you can tell me more about them when back at Hogwarts. Ginny sits with us quite often, how come I've never seen you? She has good taste in friends.

I think I already really like you and your father. Thanks for believing me. I have tried avoiding most of the newspapers, so must confess I do not know how bad it has become. But I have been reassured by my guardians that they are gonna fix this, can't wait!

Not sure how much I can tell you about my flying. It's mostly instinctual and focus. The books and magazines helped me to discover new techniques and manoeuvres. Lots of practicing, I don't mind, I just love it! Why don't you come see me at Hogwarts. I could help you out with explaining some of the flying and you can tell me all about your love for the flowery creatures you talked about.

Thanks for sending me a letter. It's nice to hear kind words sometimes :)

Hope you have a lovely ending of the holidays!

Harry (definitely just call me Harry)
