Back in the hotel Dave sat on the small bed in their room, staring at the blank tv screen. It wasn't interesting in the least, but he was afraid to turn it on. It would be too easy to relate things to John and Bro or at least that's what shitty movies told him. He sighed and leaned back against the bed looking up at the ceiling.

"Bro...what do I do now?" He whispered quietly to himself.

Jake knocked once upon habit and opened the door. "...Dave?" He asked quietly, pokeing his head inside before slowly walking in and closing the door. As he walked in and faced Dave, he smiled with a bit of pity and held a DvD and microwave popcorn in his hand. "...Wanna watch Avatar with me?"

Dave groaned, "That movie sucks ass E- Jake." he said quickly catching himself. He sits up and makes room for the older male. "But...yeah i'll watch it." He said, glancing at Jake. He never noticed how much Bro's fiancé looked like John...damn...he was actually sort of...attractive. He smirked a little, "But its still pretty sucky."

Jake's eyes widened with surprise, wearing an insulted expression. "Avatar is not shitty it is absolutely beautiful!" He defended, popping the DvD in the player and scooting beside Dave. "Gosh don't you know anything about movies Dave? This is like… Golly fuck I consider it the best of its year!" He rolled his eyes, getting comfortable and leaning back slightly.

"Yeah yeah still sucks." he teased, nudging the boy in the side before looking back towards the opening credits of the movie. "Why do you even like this movie?" He scrunched up his nose. He didn't see the appeal in it.

"It is wonderful..." Jake frowned. "James Cameron is... GOSH a bloody genius... This movie... A reluctant hero, Dave. An epic journey there was!" He began, looking off to watch the beginning of the movie. "...A choice between the life he left behind and the incredible new world he's learned to call home. 'By far the greatest adventure of all time', and truly it is." He smiled proudly, sitting up against the backboard of the bed with a content sigh.

Dave shifted to move a bit closer to Jake. What a dork...but he was cute. He smiled and slid his glasses off his face, rubbing his eyes. Jake would be the only person to see them besides John and Bro, but others seemed to like it. Plus, he'd assumed that Jake had seen Bro's anyway.

"You're such a dork..." He said, reaching up slowly to cup the boy's cheek, turning his face to look at him. "But it's pretty attractive." he whispered, pressing a deep kiss to the boy's lips.

Jake's eyes widened and he grew a bit stiff in his place beside Dave. 'Is...Is Dave /kissing/ me?' He thought to himself, eyes lidding slowly as the kiss continued. He knew he had to pull away, of course he had to!, but a part of him...liked this.

Gosh he missed Dirk... Dave looked so much like him, too. He reminded Jake of the younger Dirk that Jake had originally fallen for years ago. He allowed himself to kiss back for a moment, closing his eyes and reveling in the soft, deep kiss. He really missed this...

Dave shifts his position even more so that he was on his knees in front of Jake. He kissed him a little deeper. It was just like kissing John only Jake was a little more experienced. Not that that was a bad thing. He ran his fingers through the Australian boy's hair before letting out a small approving sigh.

Jake let out a quiet moan before kissing deeper, wrapping his arms around Dave's waist before tilting his head to the side for better access. "Mmn…" He murmured softly, eyes finally fluttering closed as he let himself revel in it. "Oh Dirk…baby…" He whispered, pulling Dave closer out of instinct.

'Dirk? No Strider, okay, you can bypass that one.' He moved his kisses to the boy's neck, kissing hard at his collar bone. He trails small kisses up to the crook of his neck, biting down there gently, experimentally.

Jake gasped, gripping lightly at Dave's back out of habit and slowly tossing his head back to give the Strider more room. "More...baby more..." He agged Dave on further, unknowingly at this point. An issue was forming in his pants and he squirmed a bit at the familiar notion. "Nnn..."

"Ah." Was all Dave could manage as he bit down a little harder before sucking on the boy's neck. He swung his leg over the boy, sitting on his lap. He grinded down against his lap, eyes half mast now. His pale hands ran up the older boy's chest slowly.

Jake moaned a bit louder, gasping at the teeth against his skin. "Oh Strider that's amazing..." He breathed, resituating himself so Dave was sitting more comfortably in his lap before groaning into the sounds of their breathing and panting. "F...ah..." He could barely make out coherances.

Dave pulled his shades off completely tossing them onto the small bed side table. He continues to grind down against English's lap. He pulls away from his neck to return to his lips. The Texan shoves his lips roughly against the opposite's.

Jake moaned, pulling away from Dave momentarily before pressing his face to Dave's shoulder. "Oh Dirk I love you so much... I wish you were-" He paused, breathing erratic and eyes now astonished and wide. "...here..." He finished, pulling away entirely to stare at Dave. Oh God... What has he done?

Dave looked down at the boy, staring into the boy's dark eyes with his red ones before swallowing hard. "I-i'm not Dirk..." He said, sheepishly. He felt so alone at that moment, he felt so unfairly treated. He deserved this comfort, didn't he? The blonde leaned down to press another deep kiss to his lips.

Jake's heart was beating a million miles a minute, he couldnt even retort before Dave was back on him again with feirce, needy lips yet again. "Mmph- Nhmph Dave-" Jake persisted, pushing the blond gently away with a hand to his chest. "Oh Dave... No, no Dave this is NOT okay!" He panted, catching his breath. "Dave this isnt okay, stop right this instant."

'Please Dirk, forgive me...' He repeated to himself a few times before looking back at Dave.

Dave shakes his head. "Jake...I...we both want this. Whats stopping you? Don't you want the comfort?" He asked, grabbing his hand and moving it out of his was. Dave leans back in to kiss at the small mark he'd left on Jake's neck.

Jake winced, eyes welling up with guilt. "Dave, no." He managed, pushing the boy off of him completely before pulling his knees to his chest, chin placed on his knees as the movie continued to roll. 'Oh Dirk, I'm so sorry...' He closed his eyes, unable to even enjoy his movie anymore. How could he even...even entertain such an idea! This wasn't Dave's fault, he was alone and scared, and granted Jake could stand to look a bit dissimilar to John as well. Jake's an adult, he should have known better.

"Not like this..." He whispered, barely loud enough for the blond to hear as he brought a hand to the mark on his neck.

Dave glared lightly, hands balling up into fists. "I...won't it make you feel better. More comforted. I don't care if you call me Dirk I-I might call you John a few times so we'll be even." He said, placing a hand on the boy's knee as he tried to lean back in and get access at his neck. "we both need this Jake..."

"Stop!" He rose his voice, turning to stare daggers into Dave's red eyes, contrasting green at the brink with tears he had been holding back. "Dave Strider you stop right now- This is not...you KNOW better Dave." He tried to sound authoritative, but it came out sounding guilty and heartbroken, which it was.

"Please." He managed afterwards, hoping to soften his blow of anger.

Dave tensed up before falling back into a proper sit. "I-I..." He feels sick suddenly and the air is too thick and he's having trouble breathing. "I...I need to take a walk." He murmured, standing quickly and grabbing his coat off the floor, heading towards the door.

Jake didnt stop him, in fact he took this time alone to finally cry. Without Dave in the room he didnt have to feel guilty for crying or letting himself go.

"Dirk I am so sorry... Please, please forgive me." He whispered aloud. "I just miss you so much, I...I wanted you to be back so bad I just..." He sobbed, looking up at the ceiling as if it mattered. "I let myself believe it was real..."

The room was silent after that, and it wasnt until after he was done crying and left in the silence of the movie, that Dave had accidentally paused on his way out of the bed, that Jake noticed a faint shadow under the door, and realized Dave probably heard everything.
