Ch. 33 A Important Questions

(Jason's point of view)

Elizabeth and I grow close everyday. Last night we almost made love. Sonny interrupted us. I tried quickly to take care of the shipment issues. I was the only one who could deal with this issue. It ended up being late when I got done.

When I arrived home from I noticed I had a voicemail from Elizabeth. She had just called to say that she missed and loved me. I couldn't help smiling. I took a shower and then lay down.

As I laid there I started to think about Elizabeth. I missed her too. I wanted to come home to her. I wanted her home to be here with me. I wanted her to be next to me in bed.

The next morning I called Audrey. She was a little surprised when I called. I took her I wanted to ask Elizabeth to move in with me. Audrey said as long as I did my best to keep Elizabeth safe we had her blessing. I also started arranging for Elizabeth to visit in the next few weeks.

I called Emily next. I asked her and Nikalos to come over. Then I asked Johnny to see if Sonny and Carly could come over. While I waited I called Francis. I wanted to know what Elizabeth had planned for the day. Francis said she was working hard to her sculpture.

"Jason what's going on?" Sonny asked.

"Is something wrong?" Carly asked at the same time.

"We're waiting for a couple of people. Nothing is wrong though so stop looking so worried." I answered.

"Johnny told us to come on in." Emily said as she and Nikalos walked in.

"What are they doing here?" Carly asked.

"Nice Carly." Emily responded.

"I made a decision. I called Audrey this morning." I said as Emily shrieked in excitement.

"Oh my gosh you and Liz are getting married." Emily yelled.

"Are you really getting married already?" Carly asked.

"No we aren't getting married yet." I said.

"What is going on then?" Nikalos asked calmly.

"I'm asking Elizabeth to marry me." I answered.

"Why are we all here?" Sonny asked.

"Well I wanted to make this place more of a home." I answered honestly.

"And you want all of us to help?" Carly asked confused.

"Yes I just thought who knows us the best." I answered.

"Okay so Carly and I will do the bedroom and Living Room. Sonny you take the kitchen. Honestly you are the only one of us that really knows what it needs. I assume Jason you'll want to do the bathroom. Nikalos can just help where he's needed." Emily said taking control.

"No one needs to worry about either of the spare rooms. I want to leave them for Elizabeth to decorate." I said.

"Can you and Carly be good alone?" I asked Emily.

"Do you have any of Elizabeth's art?" Carly asked.

"I have a piece she gave me called The Wind." I answered.

"I have one of her painting she did of Grandmother's rose garden." Emily said.

"I'll get Francis to get Elizabeth out of the studio and Johnny can go get a few more pieces." I said.

Two hours later we had finished all the rooms we wanted to have done. Carly had even went and bought some pillows and curtains. I actually didn't mind them. They weren't too girlie. We had also left some room for Elizabeth's photos and also for her to put her own touch.

Johnny had been able to get three paintings and two sketches. One of the paintings was titled first date. I noticed it was flowers it was the flowers she told me she was going to paint that I had given her on our first date. Another painting was of Michael and Morgan I wasn't sure when she had time to do it. It was wonderful she and wrote my name on the back. I assumed she had a plan to give it to me.

I called Elizabeth a short time later to see if she could bring my work gloves over that I had left over there. She seemed excited to see me. Nikalos and Emily said goodbye first. Emily said to ask Elizabeth to call her.

Sonny finished up the kitchen. Then he and Carly left. I started double checking everything. It looked good. It looked like a home. I smiled at the picture of Elizabeth and I that Carly had from her and Sonny's wedding. I ran to the door as there was a knock.

"Jason what's going on?" Elizabeth asked looking around.

"I was hoping you'd like it." I said.

"Here let me give you the full tour." I said as I took her to each room.

"Why did you do this?" She asked.

"I had Emily, Nikalos, Carly, and Sonny help me. I wanted to make it more of a home." I said.

"It looks great and I love seeing my paintings and sculptures." She said.

"I was hoping you might want this new home to be yours too." I said a little nervous.

"You want me to move in with you?" Eizabeth asked shocked.

"Yes I want to go to bed with you every night and wake up with you in the morning. I miss you when I have to come home." I said not beliving how sappy I sounded.

"I um well I just uh." She stuttered.

"Take your time. No matter what I still love you. Also Audrey gave her blessing if that helps any." I said.

"You called Grams?" She asked.

"Yes." I answered.

"You had our bestfriends help you make the Penthouse into a home?" She asked starting to cry.

"Yes don't feel pressured though. I can wait." I said.

"Jason I'm stunned." Elizabeth said started to smile though her tears.

"I didn't let them touch the spare bedrooms. I was thinking we could make one into a small studio so you'd have a place to work here in case you didn't feel like leaving. I know you'll still have your studio too so I figured you'd like a place though. Also I wanted you to do the other spare bedroom." I said rambling.

"I love you so much Jason Morgan." She said running to me.

"I love you too." I said.

"Jason I would love to live with you. I want us to have this beautiful home together." She said as we kissed.
