Ch. 34 Loving You

(Jason's point of view)
I wanted to do something special for Elizabeth. The last time I tried Sonny interrupted us. I also wanted to celebrate us living together. Elizabeth had also expressed an interest to move forward in our physical relationship. Last night we slept in the bed together. Nothing more than kissing happened.
"Jason are you busy?" Sonny asked busting through my door.
"Yes I'm busy." I snapped annoyed.
"What's wrong?" Sonny asked seeming hurt.
"I'm trying to have a romantic night with Elizabeth." I said.
"Do you need any help?" Sonny asked softly smiling.
"I thought you need me to do something." I said.
"I'll have Johnny do it. I keep forgetting you have someone at home now too." Sonny said.
"Yes I do and I need Elizabeth to know she's most important." I said.
"You're right she is. Now can I help?" Sonny asked.
"Yeah I mean I have a lot of stuff to get and then get ready. I need flowers, champagne, strawberries, and I need to order some food." I said.
"I can help you make her dinner. You should also get some candles." Sonny responded.
"What could we make for dinner?" I asked.
"Whatever you want, I'll find a recipe if I don't
know how to make it." Sonny answered.
"Elizabeth is a big fan of chicken." I said.
"I have a great recipe for chicken stir-fry." Sonny suggested.
"What's in it?" I asked unsure.
"Chicken, rice, soy sauce, peppers, onions, ginger, and garlic are in it. We could also add broccoli and carrots." Sonny said.
"Sounds good I guess we should go to the store." I said.
"I'll make a list and then we can go." Sonny said.
It wasn't long before we were back. Sonny had bought a new pan too. Sonny showed me some tips. It was kind of nice to help cook Elizabeth a meal. Sonny called Carly and Max too.
Carly was setting up the living room. She had a small table. She put a nice dark red table cloth on. Then she set the table including the flowers and candles. Then Max set up the champagne in an ice bucket.
"Jason she'll love it. I also put a new CD in the radio." Carly said.
"We better get going Francis just called they're on their way." Sonny said.
"Thank you so much Sonny." I said.
"Hey what about me?" Carly said.
"Thank you Carly it's beautiful." I said hugging her.
"You're welcome." Carly said smiling.
I turned the radio on. It was a band that Elizabeth liked. It was slow songs. Carly must have already had this CD. I dimmed the lights. I quickly lit the candles. I could hear Elizabeth and Francis talking. I took a deep breath as Elizabeth opened the door.
"You wouldn't believe the day I had. My Art History Professor changed our assignment after I had it half done. Then my Sculpting class met in a different building so I had to run across campus. Then I got gum on my shoe." Elizabeth ranted.
"I'm sorry to hear that Sweetheart." I said.
"What's all of this?" Elizabeth asked finally looking around.
"I thought we could celebrate living together. Plus I owed you a romantic dinner." I answered.
"Wow thank you." She said kissing me.
"Here sit down and I'll bring your dinner out." I said pulling out her chair.
"Where did you order from?" Elizabeth asked as I prepared the plates the way Sonny said to.
"I didn't order it." I said putting our plates down.
"Where did this stir-fry come from?" She asked.
"Our kitchen." I answered.
"You made this?" She asked in shock.
"Sonny pretty much made it I just helped and got some tips." I admitted.
"This is amazing I should ask Sonny for cooking lessons." Elizabeth said.
"Sonny would love that." I said.
After we finished dinner I suggested we dance. Elizabeth asked where the CD came from. I told her Carly had helped too. She smiled and said that she was surprised she and Carly shared music taste. We sat down. I gave Elizabeth a glass of champagne. Then I feed her a strawberry. We sat together. She leaned over and kissed my neck.
"I didn't do this to pressure you." I said.
"Jason I know that. I love you Jason." Elizabeth said.
"I love you too. I can wait as long as you need to." I said hugging her.
"Make love to me Jason." She said.
I picked her up in my arms. I carried her upstairs. I laid her slowly in our bed. She unbuttoned my shirt. I pulled her to me. I pulled her shirt over her head. I began kissing her through her bra. We whispered our love for one another.
I slipped on a condom. After making sure she was ready I slowly slipped into her. She whimpered but told me to keep going. I started out slow. She begged me to speed up. I felt like I was home inside her.
We finished together. I threw away the condom and lay back down. I pulled Elizabeth back to me. I kissed her softly as we both said we loved the other. As I watched her sleep I knew I wanted her to be my wife one day very soon.
(Elizabeth's point of view)
When I returned home yesterday I was exhausted. It had been a long annoying day. Jason had a beautiful romantic dinner waiting. It tasted amazing. Our Living Room looked beautiful. Everything was prefect. We danced together.
I asked Jason to make love to me. I knew it was right. He carried me upstairs. He was so loving. He was gentle. He went slowly. It felt amazing. My whole body buzzed with happiness. As we finished together I felt tired. After Jason took off the condom he lay back down. I felt Jason kiss me as I drifted off.
I woke up with the sun beaming through the windows. I smiled thinking of Jason making love to me. I felt so complete. I reached next to me. I was shocked that the bed was empty. I knew Jason got up early.
I put on my robe and hurried down stairs. I looked around for Jason. I checked the kitchen. He was no where to be found. I opened the door. Max was there.
"Max where's Jason?" I asked trying to not sound panicked.
"Oh uh sorry I don't know. I just got here." Max said.
"Where's Johnny?" I asked looking across the hall.
"He took Sonny and Carly for Morgan's first check up." Max explained.
I went back inside. I tried to calm down. I called Jason but it went to his voice mail. I felt so upset why hadn't he woke me up. Why did he leave?
I slumped into the couch. I started to cry. I just couldn't help it. I felt sad. Last night had been magical. I started to doubt myself. Maybe it wasn't good for Jason? What if he regretted it and me?
"Elizabeth?" Jason questioned his hands full.
"Uh I oh." I said thinking had he just went to get breakfast. I ran upstairs embarrassed.
"Elizabeth please come out and talk to me." Jason said.
"I can't." I said from my hiding place in the bathroom as I started to cry again.
"Can I please come in?" Jason asked.
"I guess." I answered knowing he wouldn't give up.
"Elizabeth did you think I just left you this morning?" Jason asked.
"I didn't know. I woke up and you weren't here." I answered.
"I just went to get breakfast. I wouldn't just leave you." Jason said.
"I worry that I'm not enough for you." I admitted looking away.
"You are more than enough, more than I deserve." Jason said moving to kiss me.
"Last night was so magical for me." I said softly.
"For me too. And to know how much you trust me. I could feel all the love and trust. I need you to trust me." Jason said.
"I'm so sorry I doubted you. I guess I just didn't know." I said.
"I'm sorry too I promise to stay in bed or wake you from now on. I love you Elizabeth." Jason said.
"I love you too. Let's go eat I'm starving." I said.
"Are you okay?" Jason asked noticing I was a little stiff getting up.
"A little sore but, so worth it." I answered smiling.
"Let me carry you my princess." Jason said not letting me answer.
