CHAPTER 2: BAD INTENTIONS
Violet was told by Tracy whether she liked it or not, Charlie Brown was her date to her party, unless she wanted to take her off the invite list herself. Surprisingly, Violet told her she was fine with Charlie Brown being her date. Had it been just him, he wouldn't have been invited, but because he's going as Tracy's date, she was seemingly okay with that. But what Tracy and Charlie Brown didn't know was Violet's intentions was less than honorable, even for her.
Patty was busy buying an outfit for the party with Lucy. Violet decided to make an important phone call before meeting up with her friends. She heard the phone ring until someone answered it.
"Hello?"
"Hi, Blake, it's Violet," she said in a very sweet voice.
"What do you want, Violet? I'm not really in the mood for talking. Tracy and I broke up."
"I know, that's what I wanted to talk to you about. I know who she replaced you with, and you won't believe who it is."
"WHO IS IT, VIOLET?! Who's the asshole that just signed his death warrant?!"
"Would you believe our favorite loser Charlie Brown?"
"Brown?! That nerd?! He can't even match ¾ of me! How could Tracy replace me with that dickhead?!"
"Blake, baby, you're preaching to the choir here. For years I've known how much of a wishy-washy loser he is. This is nothing new to me. The big question is what are you going to do about it?"
"What else?! I'm gonna kill the nerd! RIGHT NOW!"
"No, not now! I have a better idea! Wait until my party this Saturday. Everyone will be there. You can confront him there for not just Tracy, but for everyone else to see, as well."
"Good idea, Violet. I'll hold off on dealing with Brown, for now. Until Saturday."
"Good. I'll make sure they're together, so the both of them can see you. See you at the party, Blake." And Violet hung up. She laughed to herself. "Violet, you've outdone yourself this time. I need to share it with some of the others. They will think it's genius!" And Violet left to meet up with her friends.
Charlie Brown was on the phone with Linus talking about how Tracy invited him to be her date at Violet's party.
"Can you believe it, Linus?" he asked, happily. "Tracy asked me! From all the guys in school, she asked me to be her date."
"I'm a little apprehensive, Charlie Brown," said a cautious Linus. "Not of Tracy, she's a good girl, no doubt about it. It's that blockhead of an ex Blake that I'm worried about. He may show up unannounced and start trouble for not only her, but you."
"She said she told Blake not to contact her again."
"Yeah, but if what I heard about him is true, do you REALLY think he'd stay away?"
"Good point. I don't think even Violet would want violence to break out at her party, even if it meant my getting creamed, though. I wouldn't think she was THAT heartless."
