Keith was outside once the wedding was over, he looked in the building and smiled sadly as he watched the paladins and guests dance and eat. He knew that he should have been happy for them, happy for her, but the only thing he felt was sadness as he turned back out to the ocean. Letting the smile fall he let out a yawn as he took out a data pad and began reading the reports kolivan and the other blade commanders left for him.

"Already getting back to work? You really don't like relaxing do you." Shiro chuckled as he stepped out and looked at the ocean. "Just because we won the war doesn't mean that my work is over." Keith answered as he yawned again and placed the data pad down. "Anyway i should get going, the blades seem to be stretched thin at the moment. tell the others I'm sorry."

Keith said as the blade mask went up and hid his face from Shiro. He knew he couldn't lie to him no matter how hard he tried. Before shiro could protest, keith was gone and the black lion flew off into the distance.

As Keith flew there was something in him that regretted it. He wished that he was the one to marry allura, but also knew that their relationship was on thin ice. Technically all of his relationships are on thin ice, ever since going to the blades. He was surprised they tolerated him that long but then again, he did have the black lion so it made sense. Now that things are settled though he knew he was useless to them. So he went to the only place that still needed him, the blades.

His communicator went off and saw it was lance calling. "Of course." He sighed as he answered. "What do you need Lance." He asked as he made his way through an asteroid belt. "So you really are going back to the blades, huh." Lance said as he saw the blade mask up. "Of course I am, I've got work to do." Keith said annoyed already. "of course you do, you always do. You just can't ever find time to spend with your friends can you." Lance said in annoyance as he took a sip of his champagne. "Be glade that i ever showed up to the wedding." Lance let out a dry laugh. "Be glade?! You gotta be kidding me. you know what maybe it was a good thing that you left, now no one has to deal with your shitty attitude." "Look Lance i didn't mean-" "I knew Allura shouldn't have invited you." keiths eyes widened as he stopped black. "What do you-"

"When me and allura were inviting people, I didn't want to invite you at first because I knew you'd leave us all right after. Allura thought differently though and convinced me that you were past that, that you would stay and we would all be a family again. After you came and looked happy for us I thought that maybe she was right and that I was wrong. Instead here you are flying off exactly like i said you would." Keith clenched his controls as he growled and grit his teeth. "Well I'm sorry that i have job to do, a job that's more important than some stupid wedding." The flood gates of rage opened. "STUPID?! SERIOUSLY?! I WANTED TO BELIEVE THAT YOU WERE BETTER! ALLURA THOUGHT THAT YOU WOULD BE BETTER! BUT HERE YOU ARE RUNNING AWAY FROM US LIKE ALWAYS!" Lance shouted as he paced around the room while holding his communicator. "WELL I'M SORRY THAT I DIDN'T WANT TO WATCH THE LOVE OF MY LIFE MARRY MY BEST FRIEND! I'M SORRY THAT I DIDN'T WANT TO STICK AROUND AND LET JEALOUSY TEAR ME APART!" Keith shouted as he slammed his fist on his chair. Lance stopped pacing and his eyes widened. "You loved allura, didn't you." Keith froze up for second before sighing "Goodbye Lance." Keith ended the call as tears started to roll down his face.

After a few minutes he finally cleaned his face and sighed as he started to fly again. "The mission comes first." He said to himself as he thought about allura and the times they spent together when it all started. "I mustn't let my emotions jeopardize the mission." With a bridge fully burnt he landed near the blades base of operation and walked out of his lion. His face holding no emotion as he walked. "Goodbye paladins."
