"Ooooh that's cold." I complained, licking away at my vanilla cone. Sebastian and Flounder tried not to laugh. I felt my tongue going numb. The girls and I were enjoying a nice afternoon at Jade's temple. Again. The summer heat was dying down, and soon fall would come. We had to enjoy the last moments of this warmth. And I was planning on taking advantage of low price ice cream.

"Then stop trying to eat it so fast." Melody told me sternly, who stuck her tongue out at me. I merely rolled my eyes at her. She went back to drawing colorful fishes on the sidewalk with chalk.

"Isn't that your third cone?" Bella asked, looking up from her book.

"No." I said. "Maybe. Ok fine yes it is. But it's my last one. I swear"

"Uh huh sure." Briar giggled. Blowing bubbles in my face. They all popped, and I was left with soapy residue.

"So Mitchie, how are you liking Marina?" Jade asked her sweeping the porch, trying to tone me out. Leila and Mitchie came over to Jade's as well. We're trying to make their transition into the past easier.

"Well" she huffed. "It's definitely a whole lot different from home. But with Leila here it makes it so much easier. I really can't thank you girls enough for everything you've done for us."

"Where are you from?" Melody asked suddenly. I noticed her perk up when she heard the name Leila. The girls look different from their NegaSea form, therefore Melody won't be able to realize who they really are.

"We're from.." Mitchie had her mouth agape, not knowing what to say.

"Houston!" Mags yelled out, trying to save them.

"Yeah, Houston." Leila went along with it. "It's very dry, and the beaches don't compare themselves to Marina."

Melody stood up, and went to sit next to Leila on the porch. Her legs hanged off the edge. She looked at both Leila and Mitchie. "I'm not from around here either. But it already feels like home." She smiled at them.

Leila looked touched by her words. Her eyes began to tear a bit.

Melody looked a bit weirded out, but she didn't move. Instead she reached out for Leila's hand. "Why are you crying?"

I knew Leila was beating herself up after noticing what she has done to Melody. She wiped her tears away, and gave Mel a smile. "I just feel the same way."

We all watched the interaction between the two, and I couldn't help but notice how Melody had this interesting way of connecting with people. Her heart was pure, and she knew how to use it to help people.

"Hey do you want to help me with finish my underwater drawing?" Melody asked her, pointing to the sidewalk.

"I would like that very much."

They hopped off the porch, and began to sketch out the waves, a crab, and some seaweed.

"Hey Mitchie do you think you can draw a sunset?" Melody asked her.

"I thought you would never ask." She sat near her and Leila. She lay on her stomach and began to color in her huge sun.

"Hey what's that?" Briar asked pointing to something in the sky. Everyone looked up. It looked like a shining orb.

Jade squinted her eyes. "It looks like a star."

It wasn't a star since it didn't shoot toward the horizon, but rather it floated downward, towards us. The sky began to darken, and I knew what was going to happen.

"Get Melody out of here!" I yelled, standing up from my spot.

But it was too late. The orb reached toward Leila and Mitchie. It sucked them into the sphere and vanished without another trace.

"No!" Melody ran towards it.

I jumped off the porch, and grabbed Mel from her waist, restraining her. She squirmed but finally stopped.

"They're gone!" Melody weeped. "We have to do something." she buried her face into my chest.

I caressed her head. "We'll get them back Mel. I promise." I observed the orb heading northwest.

"Everyone inside now." Jade instructed. We all followed.

We went inside the temple, and found Jade's dad sitting on the couch watching tv with Robbie, who had fallen asleep. They had no clue what had happened just a few moments ago.

Before we went inside the living room Jade grabbed my arm and asked. "We're going after them right?"

"Yes. Right now. Do you think Melody could stay here?"

"What? No! I want to come." she whined, looking between me and Jade.

"Mel it's dangerous. We don't know what or who took them." I said.

"But maybe Sailor Sea does." Melody advised.

"Maybe." Jade repeated. She looked at Mel. "We'll handle this. I need you to take care of my dad for me ok kiddo?"

Mel gave in. She knew she lost the argument. We all walked into the living room. Jade told her dad we had to do something, and if we could leave Melody here.

"Of course. I have this puzzle I really want to do but Robbie won't do it with me. Maybe we could both do it Melody. What do you think?" He asked her.

"Yeah!" Melody exclaimed, pretending to be excited.

"We'll be back. Call if you need anything." Jade yelled as she was out the door.

I thanked her dad one last time, and said goodbye. "Ok guys let's get moving before we lose them." I said running out of the house. We ran towards the tree and transformed there. We all raised our hand up and unison.

"Mystique Star Power!"

"Rose Star Power!"

"Blossom Star Power!"

"Beauty Star Power!"

"Sea Diamond Power!"

When we were finished, we ran in the direction I saw the orb heading to. The sun had set, and the lights were beginning to illuminate the street.

"Do you think we can find them?" Bella asked, as we reached the heart of Marina.

"Without a doubt." Sailor Blossom put her goggles on and began to track their location.

"Well let's hurry. I don't want Melody to be left too long." I said. " She might start to suspect something.

"Sailor Sea I think I got something. There at the bridge." Blossom took off her goggles and ran, leading the way.

We followed her to the bridge. I held my arm out to stop them. I usually never have a plan when we go on missions, but this time, I needed to formulate one. I didn't want to lose the two sisters to the NegaSea.

We watched Leila and Mitchie lay unconscious in the orb that was floating above ground. Alex and Zenon appeared right next to it. Zenon carried a scepter, that contained a jewel like the one I found at the Moonlight Cafe. The jewel was in the middle of a crystal ball.

"So now what Zenon? Are you just going to wave that thing over them?" Alex asked.

Zenon admired the scepter, and returned her attention to her sister. "They won't magically return back like that. It's not that simple. We have to talk to them."

Alex looked a bit surprised. "What? Talk to them? What good is that going to do? Can't we just zap them like Sailor Sea did."

"If you hadn't notice, it only works if they are willing to change. Otherwise..." she looked down, and gave a smile that made my skin crawl. "Well you don't want to know what would happen."

"You're not very persuasive Zenon. I highly doubt you can talk them into betraying the Sailor Scouts. So you should just let me do it." She reached for the scepter her sister held. But Zenon was too quick, and zapped her with it. "Ouch, no need to use that on me, you psycho."

"Quite Alex. I know what I'm doing."

Mitchie and Leila were waking up. They both muttered their sisters names.

Zenon hovered in front of their faces. "So you two finally decided to wake up."

"Why are you doing this? Why are you treating us like prisoners." Leila spoke up.

"Because you are not to be trusted. You betrayed Undertow."

Leila shook her head. "No Zenon. He betrayed us. He turned us into monsters."

Zenon placed her hands on her waist. "I don't believe you."

Alex appeared next to Zenon. "Don't you dare disrespect Undertow."

"Alex come on. We should be fighting for a peaceful future, not each other. " Leila begged.

I looked at the scouts and we began to climb onto the bridge quietly, hoping no one would notice us.

"Leila's right." Mitchie answered. "Don't you remember how we were before we joined Undertow. Before we tried kidnapping an innocent little girl. We were good people. We could be like that again"

Alex turned her back on them. "They brainwashed you Mitchie. And they did a great job on it too."

Zenon placed her hand on Alex's shoulder. "I guess you were right. We can't talk to them. Guess you will find out what otherwise looks like." She brought scepter into the air.

I signaled for the scouts to move forward. While I took care of this. My tiara hit her hand and the scepter fell onto the pavement below. "Not so fast!"

"Sailor Sea!" Leila and Mitchie cried in unison.

"We're here to sworn out evil." Sailor Mystique said.

"And protect our friends." Sailor Blossom continued.

"And guarantee them a happy future." Sailor Rose added.

"No one's stopping us. not even you." Sailor Beauty concluded.

"In the name of the Sea, we will punish you." I informed them.

"Yeah well two can play at that game!" Zenon yelled. She brought the NegaSea scepter into the air. A negative sort of electricity was being summoned to it. She pointed the thing to where we were standing. We jumped out of the way. I looked back to where we stood and noticed it completely demolished.

Alright, so that scepter has to go. I thought to myself. I was hanging on to a wire that was severed during the impact. The rest of the girls were sprawled all over the bridge.

"You girls ok?" I yelled.

"Yeah." i heard voices from every direction.

"Not for long." Zenon replied. She swung her scepter again and aimed it me. I let go of the wire, and slid on the barrier of the bridge. She then focused her attention towards Jade and Briar. She zapped them too, and they fell down towards the pavement.

I swung down from the higher part of the bridge, and went to check if Briar and Jade were ok. They were already on their feet when I approached them. Bella and Mags also came down to join us.

"Now that I have you girls all here, lets try that again." Zenon floated down, with Alex by her side. She pointed her new toy towards us over and over again. The impact was strong, but it didn't damage us.

"You girls tired yet?" Alex laughed at.

"Are you kidding?" Briar asked with anger in her voice. The adrenaline of the battle was beginning to take over.

"We're just getting started." Bella recalled. "Flower Spiral Evolution!" Her flower petals formed like a disk and flew toward Zenon. At the last moment the negative form of electricity bounced off her scepter and extinguished her petals. The impact made Bella fly back towards us.

"Are you alright?" I asked helping her up.

"Yeah, but that stick has got to go." She advised. "Mags what do you know about the energy that is surging through it."

Mags put her goggles back on. "It contains technology that not even I have heard of. I don't even know what materials are used in it. I think the only way we can win is by destroying it."

"I'll handle that." Sailor Beauty stepped forward."Shining Heart Beam!" A laser came out from Briar's pointer finger. It was aimed over at Zenon but she jumped out of the way. and ran on the beam of the bridge. "Damn it, she's fast."

"I can slow her down." Jade replied. "Golden Fire Inferno!" Her flames flew towards Zenon, but she easily dodged. She began to hit them back to us with the scepter.

"Is that all you got?" She taunted. She swayed her NegaSea scepter back and forth. The rays of dark energy emerged from the crystal ball and headed towards us. A huge chunk of the bridge was blown off. The remains fell into the ocean. I laid face down on the ground, trying to catch my breathe. I could see the rest of the Sailor Scouts, brushing off the dust from their uniforms, and getting back up.

"Zenon stop!" Leila cried out.

"They're our only hope!" Mitchie added.

"Listen to us. Undertow warped our thinking. There is so much more than this provincial life. Give up this vengeance, this dark power." Leila continued.

"Let Sailor Sea transform you back to your old self. Let her heal you." Mitchie pleaded.

Alex hovered next to the orb that trapped her sisters. She floated around it, watching her sister as if they were some sort of prey. "I don't need healing. I would rather have this power, than be a pathetic loser like you. When we change you back, you won't remember your Sailor friends. "

"Stop it Alex!" Mitchie screamed. "Get us out of here." She began to bang on the side of the orb, but it was too strong. The only way out was to take the scepter out of Zenon's greedy hands.

"Enough." Zenon snapped at her sister. "It's time we turn these Sailor brats into a mere memory. But I think I might take a different angle." She turned away from us and pointed her power stick at Alex. The dark energy trapped her against the orb.

"ZENON! HOW COULD YOU!" Alex screamed.

"All this time I've had to share everything four ways. But not anymore. It will be just me now." She laughed maniacally. "All this happiness I need is in this strobe. It's given me power beyond imagining. If you think for one minute I'm going to let one of you power hungry sisters lay one finger on it. You are sadly mistaken."

"You can't mean that!" Alex cried out.

Zenon threw another wave of dark energy toward her sisters. They cried out in agony. I took my tiara off of my head, and threw it at Zenon. I couldn't just stand and watch her torture her sister. My tiara flew out of my hand and hit the strobe. But it seemed that there was so much energy surging through the three other sister, the orb broke. Leila, Mitchie and Alex were falling to the ground unconscious. Luckily Alex gained her strength and stopped falling midway.

"Catch them!" I ordered Sailor Mystique and Sailor Rose.

"Gotcha!" They yelled in unison.

Leila and Mitchie lay in their arms, but kept mumbling something. I ran over to see what they were saying. As I approached them I heard "Alex, help Alex."

Alex floated down to ground where we were. She sat on the ground, and hugged her knees. "My own sister." she whispered.

I approached her slowly. She didn't notice me until I gently placed my arm around her. She jumped at my touch, but relaxed. Her brown eyes laid on my face for a while. "Are you alright Alex?" I asked her.

"Sailor Sea." She whispered. "We need to save Zenon. She's not evil. That strobe has done this to her."

"We're on it." I told her.

She furrowed her eyebrows. "You'll help me, even after everything I've done for you?"

"Of course." I said helping her onto her feet.

"You can trust her Alex." Leila reassured her. She was being hoisted up by Jade. "They're loyal, just like sisters should be."

"Oh Alex! We've missed you so much." Mitchie rushed to hug her. She wrapped her arms around her neck. "Fighting for justice is so much more fulfilling than what we use to do. Say you'll stay with us." She said into her ear.

Alex wrapped her arms around her sister. "I miss you guys too. So much." Alex wept into her shoulder.

"You work fast Sailor Sea, I'll give you that." remarked Zenon as she floated above us.

"Zenon!" I said with annoyance. "You should have escaped when you had the chance."

"You say that now. But you see with this. . . " She outstretched the strobe. "I can blast you to oblivion and back just as fast as it takes for you to bat those cerulean eyes."

"Look around!" Sailor Beauty yelled out. "You're outnumbered."

"She won't give up. She was always the most stubborn" Alex said. Her arm was linked with Mitchie's. I never noticed but they look a lot of like. I wonder if they're twins. "That strobe has made her, and her faults, ten times worst, along with her powers."

"Ten times?" I questioned. How is that possible with that small scepter?

"I guess we'll have to attack her as one." Sailor Blossom suggested.

"Attacking her all at once is the only way to stop her." Sailor Mystique continued her thought.

"Oh stop with the talking." Zenon rolled her eyes.

"Silent Aqua Surprise!" Sailor Blossom yelled, taking the opportunity. Her water distracted Zenon.

"Shining Heart Beam!" Sailor Beauty's attacked. The beam hit her hand, and she dropped the scepter.

"Flower Spiral Evolution!" Bella summoned her petals, and they encircled Zenon. The petals began to drain her from the negative energy, but she broke away from them. She did not have time to respond to her falling, so she hit the ground a little too hard.

Leila, Mitchie, and Alex ran to her aid. "Zenon!-" "Are you in any pain?-" "Talk to us!-" they all said at the same time.

Zenon pushed them away, and tried sitting up. "Are you happy now?" She looked at me with venom in her eyes, and then at everyone surrounding her. "I'm a failure like the rest of you."

"No. You aren't." Leila reassured her.

We were interrupted by a loud clap of thunder. We all looked up into the sky, and noticed that Undertow had been watching the whole fight. "I had hope for you Zenon. I really did. But I guess they got to you too. Traitor." He spit out.

"No Undertow." Zenon replied. She stood up and brushed the dust off of her."Of course not."

He crossed his arms. "It doesn't matter anyways. All of you were just servants. And servants can be disposed of. Especially when you all fail together. But atleast you succeeded in putting yourself in one place." He floated closer to the sisters. "Makes it so convenient getting rid of you in one hit."

Zenon's face dropped. The power hungry sister was no longer present. She looks just as scared and disappointed as when Leila and Mitchie found out the power Undertow had over them. And how easy it is for him to wave them away. "You can't mean that." She yelled to him.

"Oh but I do Zenon. Every. Last. Word." He said. "Sure it's been fun. But all four of you have grown out of your usefulness." His eyes then shone red for a second and the scepter reacted to the change.

"What is he doing?" I asked myself. My eyes followed his line of sight.

"You missed the strobe's greatest power are about to encounter the warphole of time." He gave us all a wicked smile and vanished. "Enjoy the ride ladies." His voice boomed.

The ground around the scepter had vanished. Strong winds began to appear, blowing us every which way. There was a light mist from the ocean underneath us.

"Girls grab onto the wires from the bridge!" I yelled, knowing that the wind was only going to build up. The scouts all held onto the wires. I noticed the the warphole didn't have an affect on the sister. Not yet anyways.

"The suctions too strong!" Briar yelled.

"The strobe's emitting some sort of suction beam to consume us into that hole. I have feeling it's some sort of time vacuum." Mags informed us, raising her voice.

"You mean we could end up in another dimension?" Bella asked realizing what Mags meant by time vacuum.

"Sailor Sea what about your trident?" Jade asked.

"I don't think so. It really only works on people" I told her. I've never seen my trident ever stop an event. It's more of a cleanser.

"I know how we can stop it." yelled Zenon. " I still have strobe energy in my body. If- If i throw myself into the hole, maybe the strobe will explode. That should make this suction stop."

"You can't do that Zenon. It's too dangerous, you might not make it." Mags tried counteracting her plan.

Zenon just shook her head. "If we don't destroy this thing none of us will survive." She responded. She threw in some of the black energy that the strobe had provided her. The energy bounced back, not penetrating the warphole. She then jumped into the hole.

"No!' we all yelled.

Alex ran to the edge of the hole and tried to grab Zenon's hand. It looked like she succeeded, as I watched her trying pull her up. Zenon looked at her flabbergasted. "Sister have to stick together." responded Alex when she saw her face. "Wouldn't want you getting all the glory now."

"You would save me, even after all I said and did to you?" Zenon asked her face softening.

Leila and Mitchie ran over to help Alex pull her out from the warphole.

"Well we're kinda peeved at you, but we know that the strobe is what made you do that." Leila responded back, gripping her arm.

"Besides we won't be able to call ourselves the four sisters if you don't make it through. " Mitchie helped them push her up.

The bridge was beginning to crack with this strong wind. "You guys I'm not quite fond of just hanging onto these wires. We have to do something. Being helpless is not really our thing." I yelled.

"I think I might have a plan." Mags yelled out. "What if we do the same thing we did with Zenon."

"You mean feed it our powers one by one?" I clarified.

"If we do that, we might overpower it." Bella responded.

"That means we have to let ourselves get sucked into the warphole, and then destroy the strobe before we cross into the other dimension." I observed the inside of the hole. "Are you girls up for it?" I asked them.

"Yes!" they all said together.

"There's no guarantee, it's bound to be dangerous." I added.

"What do we have to lose? We can't hang here forever." Jade affirmed. "Let's do it."

"Alright on the count of three we jump. One..Two...Three!" I called out.

At the sound of three, we all let go of the wires, and jumped into the hole. The air current carried us into the center of the hole. When the gust of wind was gone, I realized we were inside.

"Woah, weird place." I remarked. There was no gravity, so we all just floated. It kinda looked like a cave. Debris hovered over our heads. There was a red and black lighting to the cave.

"No time to admire the atmosphere Ariana, we need to find that strobe." Jade replied.

"Up there!" Briar pointed out. The strobe was surrounded by a sickly green light that shone brightly.

We all floated near it. "Join hands." I told the girls. As we circled around the orb I knew what we had to do. "Sea Diamond Power!"

"Mystique Star Power!"

"Blossom Star Power!"

"Rose Star Power!"

"Beauty Star Power!"

"Sailor Princess Power!" we yelled in unison.

A pink light began to illuminate from me. We concentrated all our power into finally destroying the NegaSea strobe. A beam of white light glistened from the center of our circle and shot towards the scepter. It blasted the strobe, and the moment the green jewel in the center was smashed, another wave of wind hit us. It carried us back to the bridge.

The smoke from the impact was beginning to clear out. I stood up. "I guess it did work." I said to myself. There was only a crater on the bridge, rather than a huge hole.

"Sailor Sea!" I heard Leila call out. She was huddled around Alex and Zenon. "Can you heal our sister. They're ready."

I ran over to them super excited. "Of course." I took off my brooch and brought it up into the air. "Sea Diamond Healing Power!" The pink light from my diamond surrounded the two sister. The black seashell silhouette on their foreheads had shattered. Once the healing was complete I attached the locket back onto the bow of my uniform.

I felt multiples pairs of arms hugging me. "Thank you." the sisters said over and over again.

I gave them all a smile, and a small nod.

Zenon sighed. "Now what?"

"What do you mean now what?" Leila nudged her side. "You're coming home with me."

"Home" Alex repeated. "I like the sound of that."

Mitchie linked her arm with Alex. "I knew you would."

They all linked arms, and began to head in the direction of the beach where Leila's apartment was. But as they walked away, Leila halted, and looked back at us. "Would you girls like to join us for some tea at our place?" she asked.

"No thank you, maybe some other time." Bella declined politely.

"We have someone we need to check on." I said waving.

"Good Luck!" Jade yelled.

"I hope we get to see you guys soon!" Briar called out.

"We wish you all the best!" Mags voiced.

We watched them all walk out into the starry night, that was once rough, was now calm.

"Come on girls, let's go." I said.

We transformed back into our civilian form, and dashed back to Jade's house.
