AN: I apologize for the delay. It seems that exams never stopped. In fact, I have three tomorrow. The beauty of college, right? I will try to update whenever I can. Unfortunately, studies do come first. Please review.

The Mistress walked back and forth in front of the class. Her green eyes were piercing the crowd.

"The lessons before were child's play." Her boots clanks against the floor. "We thought it would be best to teach defense in two different classes. We were wrong to think so. As of today, Professor Lupin and I will be combining both classes.

"You will report to this room immediately after breakfast because we have no time to waste. We are on the brink of war. Some parents are extremely uncomfortable having their children to learn to fight. If this is you, then get out of my classroom. We need warriors. Hoc est bellum."

Remus cleared his throat. "To put it in gentler terms," He narrowed his eyes at the Mistress as she shrugged. "We need people who are not afraid of a fight. There will always be a possibility of failure. We must look beyond that and strive to win this battle.

"If we do not win, then how will the lives of your children look? Some of you must think that it is too early to think about that, but you must because the decisions make today will affect you tomorrow."

The Mistress pushed Remus aside. "Now everyone form your lines. We have a lot of work to do today."

BPOV

"I'm so sore!" Harry groaned as he lay down on the grass. "I thought that the Muggle Defense class was tiring."

I chuckled as I messed up his hair. "Don't worry little brother. By the end of the class, you will have a six pack like me!"

His hand came up and pushed me down from my sitting position as I laughed.

"Whatever!"

"Aww, is little brother's feelings hurt?" I chuckled and kissed his forehead.

He rolled his eyes and wiped his forehead. "Not in public, sis. I got a reputation to uphold."

"What reputation?"

"Ok! That's it!" He jumped to tackle me.

I easily moved to the side. "Don't yell out until you are ready. That gives your opponent a head start." He glared at me as he pushed his glasses up.

"Only you can turn this into a lesson." I smiled.

"It is the best way to learn. Now show me how you are supposed to tackle someone!"

CPOV

Bella. Bella. Bella. Bella.

I could not get her out of my head. I thought of her piercing green eyes. Her hair was looked the most vibrant red in the sunlight, but dark as night in the moonlight. Her voice was that found in a siren. She is perfect.

I am an idiot that is unworthy of her. I realized that on the night of the Dementors attack.

Flashback

"Expecto Patronum!"

A blinding phoenix came out her wand as Bella stood her ground. Her hair blew wildly against her face.

I could not help, but stare for a second until my conscience caught up with me.

YOU ARE IN FIELD FULL OF DEMENTORS AND YOU ARE LETTING HER DO ALL THE WORK!

"Expecto Patronum!"

End of Flashback

I was not worthy. Bella should have someone who will have her back.

I walked depressingly down the corridors.

"Cedric!"

I turned to find Jasper and Emmett.

Emmett danced his way toward me. "La la la la la laaaa! Isn't the day wonderful?"

"Perfect. Why?"

A smiled filled his face. "Today is so great. I am just waiting for angels to come down from heaven. Oh wait, one already did and her name is Rosalie."

"You mean Bella's friend?" He nodded as if he were dazzled. "How long has he been like this?"

My blond friend chuckled. "All morning, dude." I chuckled.

"Now, now Emmett. Start from the beginning."

"You know how we have that new class?" We both nodded. "Well, we put into partners. My partner was Rosalie. I told her that I would go easy. She smiled and moved toward like she was going to kiss me. Instead she put me on my ass by kicking my feet from underneath me. Then she got on top of me and said that likes it hard."

Then the lunatic smile covered his face again.

I could not help, but feel my jaw drop. No way! I looked at Jasper who had the same look on his face.

"What?!"

"Exactly!" Emmett boomed down the corridor. "I'm in love."

Jasper laughed. "I never thought that I would see the day. Emmett settles down for one girl-"

"She is not any girl. She's a woman, my woman."

I rolled my eyes. "Don't let her hear you say that. She will put you on your ass again."

"I look forward to it."

Later that night

I carried my bag as I dragged Jasper into the training room. "Come on we got to practice so we do not look like idiots-"

"It's too late for that." My eyes snapped to the figure hidden in the shadow.

Out came Bella.

Her hair looked black. Her eyes glistened with mischief.

"Ahh, Bella. What are you doing here this fine e-evening?" I stuttered.

She smiled. "The same as you two, practicing. If you do not practice, then skills will be lost."

"From the looks in class, you do not need practice." Jasper commented.

A laugh broke through the tense atmosphere. "True! But one can strive to do better." She continued to giggle. "Now, sorry to interrupt. Please continue. I believe I am done for the evening."

Her hips swayed as she put her sword back into its sheath.

"No!" Was that me?

Bella turned around to look at me. "What?" Jasper raised an eyebrow.

"Uh. Uh. Uh. Jasper and I need… Um. Help with one of the techniques?" Oh my god. I am an idiot.
