Ch 29
Goten had introduced his family to Timor, and his saiyan comrades. Timor had offered his assistance with his soldiers to take out the King's soldiers. As they trained together, they became stronger. When they took a break, they rested in the fields together.
"So, you know saiyans inside the castle that will help us?" asked Timor.
"They are great friends of ours. We've been through a lot together," said Gohan.
"If you trust them as much as you say you do, what are their names?"
Goten was unsure. He knew by revealing names her would risk the lives of his mate's family. He looked to his older brother for advice.
"I sense there is a deeper connection to these friends that meet the eye," said Timor.
"They're my family Timor. Their status on this planet doesn't mean that are the same as their first class saiyans."
"Rest assured we would not harm saiyans who support the murder of the king and his believers."
"Uub is not a saiyan but one hell of a fighter. He's a good friend. His mate is Bulla Briefs. She's a quarter saiyan and quiet strong as well as smart like her mother Bulma Briefs. She's human and a genius who made Capsule Corporation was it is today along with her son Trunks Briefs. He's half-saiyan like myself and is the president of Capsule Corporation, and my best friend ever since I was born. His father is the prince of all saiyans, Vegeta."
Timor's eyes widened at the prince's name. "Vegeta is willing to go against his father? I find that hard to believe. He is as cold as his father ever was."
"He was before he left for earth, but his experience on earth has changed him. He learned some very important lessons from my father and his friends. He started a family with Bulma, his mate, which made a huge impact on his life. He's no longer cold but smart about the way he lives his life."
"How do you know all this?"
"I grew up with his son Trunks. I got to know Vegeta through his family and himself at times. When he was in a talking mood. Did you know Vegeta personally?"
"No, I knew his mother. She was trying to get rid of the class system all together so every once in a while she would visit her people and listen to what they cared about. She was a strong, smart saiyan, but the king was not good for her. He would beat her when she talked about this nonsense, but she didn't stop until she was pregnant with Vegeta."
"What happened to her?" asked Goten.
After she gave birth to the prince, the prince was taken away instantly. When the prince was out of earshot, the King came into the room and killed her with one big blast that encompassed her body and blew it up."
"And how do you know all of this?" asked Gohan.
"I delivered the prince. I went to clean myself up behind a curtain when I heard a lone pair of footsteps enter the room. I peered out from the curtain and saw it happen. It was too late to save her," he said as he looked to Goten to see his devastation. "So much emotions in your face young saiyan, you are truly half-human."
"Half-human, half-saiyan, it doesn't matter. We will defeat the king," said Goten.
