Hey, guys. I'm here with an important author's note regarding my new fanfic Smash Park. That's right, folks. Smash Park is my new fanfic and first Super Smash Bros. fic to be specific. South Park is one of my favorite TV shows of all time and despite the raunchy comedy and satire, it kind of teaches us a leson of real Life topics without boring you to death. I'm writing this outline to make sense and avoid confusion.

===How Smash Park Is Structured=====

The series will be a compilation of episodes parodying South Park with little to no continuity. As soon as an episode of South Park comes to my head, that episode will be developed in this fic staying true to the show while having liberties relating to the games the characters of Smash came from. This means it's going to be raunchy and language heavy of humor that South Park is known for. This is to keep in mind.

====The Main Characters?=====

Like South Park, Smash Park will have kids as the main protagonists navigating the wacky and crazy world full of problems. For the analogies for what Smasher would be to the main Kids, it was a bit of a struggle. After some time did a light bulb form over my head for which character the Kids would portray. Ness for example would act as Stan Marsh being the smart one and level-headed of the group, Sonic albeit in his classic design and not the modern one so I could have him as Eric Cartman due to both being chubby, cocky and arrogant. However, Cartman's' a racist bigot to the extreme but I won't have Sonic go that low. Now as for Yoshi and Toon Link, I was stuck with them either being Kenny or Kyle but I chose Yoshi as Kyle for a good change of pace so he wouldn't be the butt of the Joke of falling in pits. Toon Link might be Kenny to round off the four boys.
Korin as Butters made a lot of sense due to most fanfics portray him as a good-natured but naïve boy who means well. I did at one point wanted Lucas as Butters but decided against it. Gunther as another character is pretty unique for Smash Park due to him being the villager of Animal Crossing. The villager I designed from my copy of New Horizons is the one from my Animal Crossing fic, Road Dawgs for those wondering. Also, I added some backstory exclusively to Smash Park where Ganondorf is his uncle who took him in years ago but a special episode of Smash Park at some point will touch up on how Gunther was taken in. He also has Rosalina and Lumalee as his aunt and cousin respectively due to Ganondorf marrying the former.

The other characters like the Inklings, Ice Climbers, Diddy and Dixie Kong will be students at the Smash Academy to interact with the main characters. Some episodes will have them be at the lead or play an important role of the episodes that makes sense. The adults will have some that are sensible and reasonable like Snake or Captain Falcon. Think of Chef in a sense that gives kids sound advice in life of what to do. And some will be as wacky, insane and cynical like Waluigi, Robotnik or Bowser. Think of Mr. Garrison, Ms. Chokesondic or Butters' parents.

These are the characters I've chosen for the parody. It's difficult with how many fighters are in Smash and the fact how I'm going to have them parody some of the South Park characters. Hopefully, I can do my best to portray them properly.

=======Episods In Mind======

The episodes I have been considering are The List, Medicinal Fried Chicken, Mystery Of The Urinal Deuce and Tsst which is my favorite South Park episode. Fish Sticks is also an episode I've been thinking about lately with my parody involving Gunther and something related to him being on an island full of anthropomorphic animals. That would come at a later date.
Keep in mind also that I will have original episodes not part of the South Park catalog to keep the fic fresh. Kind of like a what If scenario if Trey Parker and Matt Stone came up with an episode behind the scenes. Like I said above, the fic won't have heavy continuity but will have a smidge. It's crazy that South Park is on it's 26th season with over 300 episodes beating Arthur that had 25 seasons ending it's run. South Park is still going with upcoming seasons 27-30 on the way and not only that, 14 movies are in the works. Damn. Not sure how I would cram so many in this parody. It's a challenge but it can be done. If Crashguy01 can still produce nearly 400 chapters of Smash Life which is ongoing and a good read, then maybe I could get close to that caliber.

======Schedule of Episodes=======

It depends how life goes outside of Fanfiction because anything can happen from me getting sick, vacations, a new game coming out that I want to enjoy or hang with friends and family. I've been neglecting some of my fics due to this and of course, the inevitable Writer's Block. Give or take, Thursday or Friday would be a premier of the first episode parodying Proper Condom Use. Beyond that point, expect Tuesday and Thursday to be somewhat of an upload schedule for Smash Park. Hopefully, no delays will hinder me from doing so.

=====Will Other Fics Get Updated?=====

Yes. I've been slippin' leaving you guys with cliffhangers like in When Roger Met Jessica. I will return to that story at a later time. I've finished a lemon story in Roger Rabbit being Pleasantly Plump in which you can check out. The sequel is in brainstorming stages, so it would be a while before it gets written. Animal Crossing fic Road Dawgs is also in a brainstorming stage of the next chappy as well. Geez, so many fics I've ignored lately due to playing Animal Crossing on the Switch taking care of my island and a dose of MarioSpeaking of Switch, Nintendo Direct got me frothing at the mouth with joy when Super Mario RPG remake and Super Mario Bros. Wonder was announced for the fall. Damn it. SO much to look forward to on the Switch including Sonic Superstars which is also in the fall. Hopefully, I can properly balance my workload of fics and enjoy my time outside of Fanfiction so I don't burnout easily.
