Mai didn't know how they were going to carry it all. But she knew she was going to have to be the one to carry most of it, being the strongest and all. She let out a groan at the thought.

The cashier's eyes widened when she saw all of the chocolate bars and ice cream that Mai and Naru had. Mai just gave her an awkward smile. The girl gave her an awkward, unsure smile back before she glanced back down at the items. Mai also looked at the items being scanned. 'Ice cream, ice cream, chocolate, ice cream, chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, ice cream, marshmallows...wait marshmallows? Who put those on there?" She shook her head as the answer was obvious and went back to staring morosely at their purchases. 'Chocolate, chocolate, half eaten tub of ice cream...half eaten?!' She looked back at Naru who had chocolate ice cream around his mouth and was licking a spoon he'd gotten from somewhere.

"What are you doing?!" She asked loudly as she tried to take the spoon away from him.

"I was hungry and tired of waiting." He explained as though his actions had been the most rational in the world. He then let out a burp and smacked his lips with satisfaction.

"Mai!" Mai shouted, remembering to use her name since they're in front of the cashier. Naru sighed. He mumbled something incoherent. "What was that?" Mai demanded.

"...Sorry..." He mumbled grumpily.

"It's not me you should be apologizing to, it's the store staff as you are essentially stealing."

"O-Oh, that's alright!" The cashier laughed nervously.

"No it isn't, this kind of behaviour should not be pardoned." Mai snapped.

"No, really...it's fine...just as long as you pay for it..." The girl said, giving a small smile.

"Well of course I'm going to pay for it, it wouldn't be at the till if I wasn't." Naru declared. Mai huffed and pulled out Naru's wallet, paying for everything. She then began to gather the bags of shopping. She got as much as she could and told Naru to carry the rest. "Why do I have to carry it?" He whined. Mai shot him a glare over her shoulder.

"Because you were the one who wanted all of this crap!" She practically yelled at him. "Now get them. And come on."

"No need to shout." Naru muttered. Mai just gave him a look of disbelief as he walked past her with the bags in hand. "Are you coming or not?" He asked. She huffed and went after him. She was not in the best of moods after this shopping trip. It was bad enough Naru had to get all of those sweets, but he didn't even have the decency to wait until they got home to eat them?! Not to mention the cashier then completely shrugged it off. What was up with that?! It wasn't like Naru was a guy right now so it couldn't have been his looks...right? Or maybe it had something to do with her...? But surely the cashier would've agreed with her due to the fact she looked like a handsome man rather than siding with Naru. What could it have been then? That girl was just weird...or she didn't like men and preferred women.

Mai froze at that thought. Her eyes widened at that realization and she moved faster toward Naru as though the checkout girl was suddenly going to appear and try to ravish him in her body. Of course it was probably unlikely that it would happen, but Mai wasn't taking any chances. Her body was for Naru and Naru only...at least when she got it back in her possession of course. She hoped he felt the same way as her. She let out a sigh. She doubted she would ever know unless he deemed it appropriate. Though when would it ever be 'inappropriate'? Of course she wouldn't ever want to...do something—that is if they ever did—while they're still switched. She wanted to experience it in her own body. She felt she should just face it, nothing was going to happen. She sighed in slight frustration. If only Naru would damn well kiss her and put some of her doubts to rest...But nope, it seems he won't since he claims that they should wait until they stop arguing, or is just nervous about the whole kissing thing—that's the one she believes is the true reason, but he's just too proud to admit it.

Whatever the reason it was annoying. Mai was thankful they were almost back to Naru's apartment. At least there she could interrogate him without fear of others overhearing. He probably wouldn't want to hear what she had to say though. He never did. At least he did say he was going to try and do the things she asked him to...so maybe she should ask him to kiss her...

Mai shook her head. She's making herself sound desperate. She wasn't quite that desperate just yet. He said that he loved her; she should just believe that. Naru wouldn't have said it if it weren't true. At least she hoped so. But he wouldn't have had a reason to lie about it.

All too soon she realized they had reached Naru's apartment. Although she was a little glad since she wouldn't have to carry all the bags anymore. Her fingers were starting to ache. She got Naru to open the door for her. She then carried all the bags inside. She went straight to the kitchen and began to put the ice cream in the freezer. She got about a quarter of the way before realizing that no matter what there wouldn't be enough space. She groaned.

"Naaaaruuu!" Mai called.

"What?" He asked as he entered the kitchen.

"Look." She said, gesturing to the freezer full of ice cream. Naru shrugged, he didn't see the problem. "Ice cream has to go in the freezer, Naru, or it'll melt!" He still didn't see what her point was and he just frowned. "It's already packed full!" Mai further explained. "There's no more room for the rest of the ice cream!"

"Oh, I see. We'd better start eating then." Naru said as he produced his magic spoon from somewhere again.

"Oh no you don't!" Mai quickly stood in front of Naru so she was a barrier between him and the ice cream.

"Well do you have a solution as eating it is the only one I can think of." Naru pointed out as he licked his lips and stared longingly at the ice cream just behind Mai.

"I don't know, but you're most certainly not eating all of that! You already had half a tub of ice cream at the store; that's enough for today." Before Naru could argue she continued. "You agreed that I would tell you how much you could eat in MY body." Naru pouted. "I still don't see why you want to eat this much..." Mai mused as she shook her head, turning back to the freezer.

"I just really fancied it." Unsuccessfully, Mai still tried to shove the ice cream into it. Tubs of the icy treat kept popping out though. Mai groaned in frustration and had to resist the urge to kick the refrigerator. Naru was trying to plan out how to get some of the ice cream without Mai noticing. He just needed to slip one by her and go hide in a closet...

"Don't get any funny ideas, Naru. I hope you know I'm going to be watching you like a hawk." Mai commented. 'How the hell did she do that when she couldn't even see me?!' Naru wondered. "Something seems wrong lately...with the switch I mean. Have you noticed that you seem to be acting like me more and vice versa?" Mai asked. Naru nodded slowly as he contemplated what she was saying. It was true...more than he'd like to admit. He doubted if he were in his right mind he would've bought so much sweet stuff. Then there was always that unmistakable urge to kiss Mai that he fought against every second of the day. What was up with all his mood swings also?! He swore he'd never had so many emotions in all his life. It was all shocking, really. He needed ice cream...and a kiss from Mai perhaps. He nodded to himself. That sounded nice...especially the kissing part. Naru blinked. He's been putting it off for so long now—even though he really wanted to do it—so why the sudden change? Although it wasn't exactly a sudden change it was more that his will to fight off the urge to go through with it was getting weaker. Which in itself was weird. He always had perfect control.

He gazed lustfully at the ice cream again and the girl inhabiting his body. No he wasn't attracted to himself no matter how many comments he made that may support this theory so it definitely wasn't his body that was making him want her. He wanted her for her, no more no less. He's going to do what he's been wanting to for a long time now. He was going to grab her and kiss her...then grab a tub of that ice cream and run into the bathroom to eat it. That'd probably just make Mai furious with him though... She'd probably think he just kissed her so he could get the ice cream. The thing is he really wanted both and he didn't think he could give up on the idea of one of them. Maybe Mai would just be so happy they finally kissed—as would he—that she wouldn't care if he ate the ice cream! Yeah...yeah that sounded good. Yeah, she would be so happy so plenty of ice cream for him. He smiled and nodded to himself. Naru turned his attention back on Mai to find her still trying to figure out a way for all the ice cream to fit in the freezer, with her back turned towards him. He started to slowly walk towards her. He briefly wondered how he should do it...

Should he just grab her and plant his lips on hers and see what happens or should he ask her...? Although if he asked her, it could just be awkward between them when they go to kiss. He quickly made his decision. Just going to her and kissing her would be best. He nodded and steeled himself for implementing his plan. Stopping behind Mai, Naru took a deep breath. He quickly grasped her arm, turning her around, and planted his lips against hers before she had a chance to do anything.

At first she fought then realizing what was happening she soon joined in with the kiss quite willingly. The kiss was a bit clumsy considering this was the first time either of them had kissed anyone. They soon got into it though as they started using their tongues and grabbing each other to bring each other closer. Soft moans were emitting from Mai, and if you listened closely enough, they were coming from Naru also.

Mai picked Naru up and sat him on one of the counters as she was fed up of having to bend down to kiss him. Naru reached up and intertwined his hands with her hair. Mai cupped his cheeks with her hands. She deepened the kiss making it more heated and passionate. They soon ran out of breath though and pulled away from each other gasping. Mai leaned against the counter next to Naru as she panted.

"I...um...wow..." She breathed. Naru had to agree as he too was just as winded. "I need to go collect the rest of the shopping to put away." She murmured as she was still trying to get her head around what had just happened and had seemingly forgotten about the task of fitting the ice cream in the freezer. Naru eyed the frozen treat and licked his lips as he watched her leave the room. He stepped closer to the ice cream and flicked his gaze back to the door that Mai had gone through.

He had actually expected more of a reaction from her after the kiss. Then again he was feeling a bit strange himself. He shrugged it off though and grabbed as many tubs of ice cream as would fit in his arms. He checked the door again in case Mai might be coming back. She wasn't, so he scurried off to the bathroom with a spoon in hand. He sat himself on the floor after making sure the door was locked and opened his first tub and dug in. Mai was going to kill him for this, but he didn't really care. The ice cream took all his cares away.

He was done with the first tub in fifteen minutes and he swiftly moved on to the next one. Although finally kissing Mai made him incredibly happy, something felt...off. He carefully munched on another few spoonful's of ice cream as he contemplated what it was. It wasn't exactly the kiss that felt off...but something did feel strange. His insides felt a bit bubbly and his head was feeling a bit fuzzy. He spooned another mouthful of ice cream into his mouth. Could kissing Mai really have made him feel like this...? He went for another spoon of ice cream and noticed the tub was empty. He pouted a bit before he grabbed another container of chocolate chip ice cream that was beside him. He had to admit the flavours he'd been trying were pretty delicious. And there were still so many to try...

An hour later and he'd eaten his way through another three tubs of ice cream and was feeling rather sleepy. He tried his best to stay awake, wanting to get up and go see Mai, but he couldn't. His head rolled to his left and leaned against the bathroom counter. He let out a yawn and slowly slid until he was led on the floor fast asleep. If only he knew...
