Only the sound of Lulu's footsteps were heard as she walked in the silent hallway. Small rays of light invited themselves in the room. The moon, however, didn't allow its rays to join in with them. Lulu Bell kept her eyes locked on the engraved signs on the doors, hoping to find the former exorcist's. She could hear the sounds of many people snoring, including Bak's. Her eyebrows twitched in annoyance, followed by a frustrated sigh as she walked down more hallways. Finally, she found the former exorcist's room, with her name engraved on the sign:

Kenna Vikasa

Glad that she found it, the female Noah allowed a smirk to escape her lips as she rested her fingers on the doorknob, slowly turning it. As she walked into the brunette's room, she could hear only silence. She exhaled in relief; that snoring was starting to annoy her. Her shoes tapped against the ground as she walked over to the brunette. Lulu felt her hair whipping against the rather cold wind, small chills going up her spine. She turned to see the window slightly ajar, and closed it, relieved that it didn't make any sound.

Focusing her attention back on the former exorcist, she struts toward her, and lifts up her left hand, the tips of her fingers glowing a radiating aura. She then rested them upon the brunette's shoulder. Power started to pulse through the Noah's veins, soon taking on the form of the brunette. Unfortunately, Kenna could sense that something was going on, so she began to stir. Lulu sharply exhaled, and quickly morphed into her cat form.

Kenna allowed her eyelashes to flutter before she casted her eyes upon the cat. "Oh, hello. What brings you here at this time of night, cat?"
Lulu's ears twitched in response, a questioning meow escaped her throat.
"Couldn't sleep, I guess?" The brunette questioned, then used the nub of her left arm to pat the blanket beside her. "Well, sleep with me for tonight, okay?"

Ears perked up, Lulu obliged, and curved her back as she hopped onto the bed, walking in circles until she finally made herself comfortable. She then glanced over at the brunette as she went back to sleep. Lulu decided to follow suit as well, and let a yawn escape her mouth. As she rested her head on her paws, she allowed her eyes to stay open.

Well, that didn't work out as I had planned. she thought. It was slowly getting in action as I was starting to take on her form so I can fool that blueberry-haired friend of hers. But that brat ruined it! As her eyes slowly started to shut, she proofread her plan, fixing some errors and replacing them with more ideas. A smirk came across her lips. And I think I have just the plan to replace that foolish one.

...

It was a crisp, sunny day the next morning. Kenna yawned as she got up from her bed, letting her muscles relax. Casting the sheets aside, she alighted her feet onto the ground. She then proceeded over to her desk, and stared at her reflection in the mirror. A scowl crept across her lips as she saw her messy tangled hair, a sigh then escaped her throat. She realized that she won't be able to comb it due to losing her hands, let alone put a ponytail holder in it to cage the pieces of hair that get in her face. A sudden knock on the door got her attention, and she went to answer it. To her surprise, it was Fo.

Kenna blinked, "Fo?"
The humanoid nodded, "Good Morning, Kenna. How have you been doing?"
The brunette greeted her back in return, followed by a smile, "I'm doing alright. The training is difficult, but it's paying off."
Fo grinned, "That's good to know. Kanda, as Bak and I have observed, is doing a great job on teaching you."

At the mentioning of her crush, Kenna's cheeks transitioned to a burgundy pigment. "Yes, yes he is."
Kenna's mind suddenly drew a blank as she went to change the subject. She was trying to remember the cat from two nights before. As the flashbacks playing in her mind, she had started to grow suspicious about the cat, with the single white mark on its head. Realizing the silence, Kenna broke it with a question, "Besides that, Fo, I need to ask you something. Have you heard of a slim, jet-black cat, with a purple collar upon her neck, with a bell hanging from it?"

"...A slim, jet-black cat, with a purple collar and bell upon its neck?" Fo repeated the brunette's question so she can decipher what Kenna is talking about. She rested one of her mitten appendages on the bottom of her chin, her eyebrows furrowed in thought. She then shook her head sadly, due to not finding a result. "Sorry. Haven't heard of her."

Kenna sighed, "Oh, okay. I was just wondering since she came into my room last night."
Fo glanced over Kenna's shoulder at the bed, her eyebrows shaped in confusion, "Are you sure about that, Kenna?"
The former exorcist want to ask, "What do you mean?", but when her eyes locked upon the bed, she saw that the cat wasn't there. A sharp exhale escaped her throat.

"B-But, she was there when I got up!" she stuttered in shock. "She must've-"
"Well, I don't see her, Kenna." Fo shrugged. "She must've gone for a walk."
"Yeah, I suppose you're right." Just then, the brunette felt her stomach rumble. She let out a neurotic laugh.

"Besides that, I think it's time to go and eat some breakfast." Kenna laughed once more.
"Good idea." Fo smiled as she allowed Kenna to leave the room first, then followed her as she closed the door behind them.

As they proceeded to the mess hall, Kenna was looking forward to training again after breakfast. She liked spending time with Kanda, and improving her fighting skills.
That question started to nag at her mind, so she looked over at Fo, getting the humanoid's attention. "I'm guessing that I'm going to be training with Kanda after breakfast as usual?"
Fo nodded, but then her eyebrows suddenly furrowed in realization. She looked up at the former exorcist, her expression saddened. "Training is postponed for today, Kenna."
Kenna's eyes widened, "What?"

...

There was absolute silence as Kanda stood still in one of the roofless training rooms of the Asian Branch. His hands were pressed together, he felt his dark blue hair whip against the breeze. He then held his arms out, though he was able to sense this through his blindfolded eyes. He then bent one of his knees as he got into a warrior pose, then switched legs. He continued to do this as his muscles started to relax. Just then, he heard the door open, and took off his blindfold.

His eyes widened when he saw Kenna. "Kenna? What are you doing here?"
Kenna felt her heart sink when he asked that question. She didn't mean to interrupt his training, but the response that Fo gave Kenna earlier had left her speechless. "...I-I came to inform you that training is postponed for today."

Kanda gave her a confused look, "What?! And who told you this?"
"Fo. Her expression was sad for some odd reason when she told me that. I don't know why."
Kanda shrugged. "Who knows? There might have been a emergency and they had to send a lot of exorcists for the job."

Kenna thought about that. "Yeah, that could be it. Or it might be something else that Fo might be concerned about."
"True."

A sudden ring of a grandfather clock shot through their ears, the sound pulsing throughout the room. Kanda, unlike Kenna, recognized what the sound was, and began to leave, which got the former exorcist's attention. "Kanda, where are you going?"
"It's an emergency, Kenna, due to the sound of the grandfather clock. I recognize what the sound is, since I've visited here before. I hope it won't take long." He grabbed a hold of the doorknob and opened the door, and before going into the hallway, he locks eyes with Kenna once more, "I'll be back, okay?"

Kenna nodded, "Okay." As she heard him slam the door behind him, she decided to leave the room as well, shutting off the entrance to the training room. She then walked over to the wall, and put her back against it, slowly sliding down to the floor. She soon sighed in boredom as she tapped her shoes against the floor. Even though it's been two days since she's been at the Asian Branch of the Black Order, she was getting used to knowing Fo, Bak, and the training with Kanda...but she wasn't used to this. With training being canceled for today, she had nothing to do.

As a few more minutes of patience passed by, Kenna heard sudden footsteps enter the room. She glanced up at the figure and saw that it was no other than Kanda, but his eyes were hard to make out since they were shaded by his bangs.

Kenna's eyes widened, "Kanda?! Didn't you just leave a few seconds ago?"
Kanda nodded, not lifting up his face to look at the brunette, "That I did. I found out when I got there that it wasn't really urgent. They already have enough exorcists for the job."
Kenna got up, "They do?"
"Yes." He looked over at Kenna, his eyes still shaded, "Follow me. I want to show you something."

Confused of why she said that, she watched as Kanda started to walk off, and not wanting to be left behind, the brunette quickly rushed over to catch up with him. As the two proceeded down the hallway, Kenna noticed that the colors of the hallways were starting to transition to a pitch black. Chills went up Kenna's spine, the pace of her walk slowed down. She looked over at Kanda, "...Kanda, where are we going?"

A odd smirk escaped Kanda's lips, "You'll see."

As they continued to their walking, Kenna had trouble seeing, the lights were dimmed. But as they entered another corridor and entered a room, Kenna realized that the colors were a different color, not the usual gold or violet color that she usually saw around the building. It was a gothic type of black. Trickles of sweat started to run down from Kenna's temple, she hadn't seen this room before.

Kenna felt her heart beating at a faster pace, she could feel an eerie wind in the room, her long hair whipping against it. Kenna then felt goosebumps emerged on her skin, the air was somewhat cold. She then looked over at Kanda, her voice a tad high pitched, "...So, is this the place you wanted to show me, Kanda?"

There was no response.

"Kanda...?"

Kenna felt a sudden rumble under her feet, almost like a earthquake. She then heard the sound of akuma in the distance, and jumped when she saw them right in front of her. The sound of their canons getting ready to fire made the hairs on Kenna's back rise. Why were they here? And how were they able to get here to the Asian Branch, and able to get through Fo, the guardian of the place? Unless...

No, it can't be. Kenna shook her head. It just can't be. She then heard more sounds of the canons firing up, then shrieked as she saw the bullets heading straight towards her. The former exorcist dodged them easily, while freaking out at the same time. As she continued to miss the bullets, she looked at the blueberry haired man out of the corner of her eye, and realized something odd. Why wasn't Kanda fighting?

"Kanda? Why are you just standing there?" Kenna called out to him as she dodged another bullet. "Why aren't you fighting?"

Just then, Kenna heard a battle cry in the distance, then the sound of akuma being sliced in half echoed through her ears. As her brown eyes watched the akuma disintegrate into dust, she casted her eyes upon the figure, but couldn't quite make it out due to the dust.

"GET AWAY FROM THERE, KENNA!" The masculine voice was rather loud.
"...What?" Right as she said that, she saw the aftermath subside, and sharply exhaled when she saw who it was. It was Kanda.

"K-Kanda?" she blinked.

"GET AWAY FROM THE NOAH!" Kanda yelled, which caught Kenna's attention. She looked behind her, and before she even had a chance to attack the copy, Lulu quickly transitioned into her normal form, and clasped her hand upon the former exorcist's mouth, then morphed into her water form. A semi-circle was now guarding Kenna. The brunette, however, was having trouble breathing, she could feel water slowly filling her lungs.

"Kenna!" Kanda said, and growled as he saw more akuma coming. A blue aura radiated from his mugen as he lunged, then threw himself towards the akuma, easily slicing them in half.

Meanwhile, Kenna was on her knees, and gasping for air. She coughed up blood when she didn't succeed.
You fell right into my trap, your insolent brat. Lulu's voice echoed through the water.
Kenna's eyes widened, and she looks at the top of the semi-circle.
"So it...was...your doing...?" Kenna's voice was weak.
Indeed it was. Lulu chuckled. You're so gullible...
"No, I am not!"
Oh? Why would you say that? You're the one that let me inside that day, after all.
Kenna coughed up more blood as her eyebrows furrowed in confusion. But then it hit her. She remembered Lulu's cat form from the two nights before, and saw that mark on her head. She gasped when she finally realized what the mark stood for. Lulu was the cat all along. She is one of the Noah.
She then glared. "Why, you little-"
Lulu only laughed. That's what you deserve, runt, for being fooled by the "Salacity" of the Noah.
Kenna gasped, "Salacity...?"

No words escaped the Noah's mouth, she let silence pass by before Kenna hear the sound of a tide echoing through her ears, then took the blow of Lulu's punch. Kenna's head made a sickening thud as it collided with the floor.
A maniac laugh escaped her throat. Now you will die, former exorcist!

As Lulu sent more punches at Kenna, the brunette could see Kanda still fighting the demons. His breath was starting to run short from exhaustion. The former exorcist felt anger boiling up inside of her, and then her eyes started to glow, followed by her body. A gasp came from the Noah as a tornado of fire suddenly shoot out from the ground, as well as a water tornado. They then swirled around Kenna, slowly levitating her up as the two elements slowly started to wrap around her arms and legs. Her hair then stood up, flowing like a weightless feather.

She then looked at the top of the water dome one more time, "If you think I am, then you are pretty stupid for a villainess!" She then closed her eyes, and let the transformation proceed.

Kanda was still fighting the demons, but right as he is going to slice one of them, he saw it suddenly glow, then explode. His eyes widened in shock, confused of how that happened, but when he saw the light coming from Kenna, he gasped. "It can't be..."

Black gloves started to emerge on Kenna's hands, and instead of her blue turtleneck, a dark purple, Victorian suit was on her, the laces on her sleeves were traced with gold. On the collar, she had a pitch-black bow, with a blue jewel rested on it. The same type of laces on the end of her sleeves draped off from the bow. Besides the shirt, she wasn't wearing her skirt; she wore matching pants to her Victorian outfit. Black tap shoes replaced her sneakers. A top hat rested upon her oddly purple hair, which was in a loose ponytail. A dark, black mask covered her eyes, the edges of it looked like feathers. When Kenna opened her eyes again, one was a fiery demon orange, the other was a watery demon blue.

Kanda couldn't believe his eyes, and neither could Lulu. She then transformed into her normal form, and watched in awe as Kenna slowly alighted herself onto the floor.

"Ah, it feels good to have my hands again." Kenna's voice finally broke the silence as she looked at her hands. She felt the wind breeze through the room, it wasn't bothering her anymore. She then glanced over at Lulu, who was mesmerized.

"Y-You...h-how...could you have..." Lulu couldn't find any words to escape her mouth.
"It was because of my anger and hatred towards you and how you tricked me." Kenna said with a blunt tone. "I should have known from the start that you were luring me into your trip, you brat." The purple-haired exorcist unfolded one of her hands, a element-mixed aura-which was that of fire and water-emerged in her hands. "You've got to think twice when you even try to mess with me. My anger is the most powerful element that I have. My powers are the second, and my sadness is last. They are what control my life, and what destine me to be an exorcist."

Without letting Lulu speak, Kenna lifted up her hand, then thrusted it at Lulu, the aura morphing into a lightning bolt, piercing through Lulu's skin. Lulu screamed in agony. Kenna watched as cracks started to form on the female Noah's skin as she continued to suffer, then disappeared as Lulu Bell crumbled to dust, and was no more.

There was an eerie silence afterwards, leaving a more evolved Kenna standing there, and a shocked Kanda.
Deciding to break the silence, Kanda walked over to Kenna. Seeing him, she locked eyes with him, her cheeks turning a burgundy pigment.

"I...can't believe it..." Kanda was at a loss of words. "You...got...your Innocence back..."
A smirk came across Kenna's face. "Yep."
"But it's more evolved now. I'm guessing it was because of the fury building up inside of you?"
"You can say that. And since my Innocence has evolved, is there any name to it, by chance?"

Kanda was caught by surprise by Kenna's question. His eyebrows furrowed in thought as he rested his hand on his chin. He then nodded, "Yes, yes there is. I believed it's called the Two-Elemented Magician."

"The Two-Elemented Magician?"

Kanda nodded, "Yes. It's a rare type of Innocence. I've only heard of it in books, but never seen it awaken in someone like you before."
A small grin came across the purple-haired exorcist's face as she blushed, "Thanks. Is it born from the anger and sorrow building up in the accomodator's heart, along with being tricked and taken advantage of?"
"Yes."
"Wow..."

"Well, we need to go tell Bak and Fo about this, if they don't know already. They might be surprised that an ancient Innocence has decided to bond with you."
Kenna giggled, "Yeah!"

The two then leaned in and kissed each other, then proceeded to tell the director and humanoid of what happened.
