Silence made its way into the room as Kenna and Krory stood before Jasdevi. With a smirk, Jasdevi rested one of his hands on his hips. His eyes gleamed with excitement. "So...are you guys going to make your move?...Or will I have to do it myself?" He questioned as he stepped an inch towards the two exorcists.
Kenna's eyebrows furrowed, "We will like to start first, if you don't mind. You don't deserve your turn." "Oh, really now?" Jasdevi laughed. "After all I've done to you pathetic exorcists? I don't think so!"
With a thrust of his right arm, a swirly purple aura emerged from it, soon transforming into a huge swirl heading towards Kenna and Krory. With determination in her eyes, the violet-haired exorcist shielded her face with her arms; an aura soon stood in front of her, blocking off the attack. Jasdevi's eyes widened as the mirrored attack came towards him, and got rid of it with a swift movement of his hand.
The two exorcists then glanced at each other, and with a nod, Krory lunged towards the feminine-looking villain. His teeth, which were pointy at some edges, were bared. His hands were itching with action. Jasdevi's golden eyes watched as the vampire exorcist was nearing towards him, and lifted up his hand. A sharp exhale came from Krory as a huge, radiant star was laden upon him.
Jasdevi stifled a demonic laugh as he watched the man scream in overwhelming pain. The merged Noah then bent down on one knee, and flew into the air, his blonde hair flowing effortlessly with him. Sticking out his arm, he dived at the vampire exorcist, sending a bone-crunching blow to him, followed by a loud crash. Small pieces of the tiled floor flew into the air, the dust was late coming to the scene. Once it subsided, Krory was lying motionless upon the huge star, while the sound of Jasdevi's boots were heard as he alighted onto the floor.
"Man. It seems that you're much weaker than last time." Jasdevi convulsed. "I assume that you've been relying too much on your anti akuma weapons, instead of building up muscles, eh?" With one final chuckle, Jasdevi raised his hand, another star slowly coming from it. Krory's eyes widened as Jasdevi bent down, moving the star towards him. He felt the surging pain as he rested his hands upon the star, hoping to stop it from squishing him to smithereens. Fortunately, that was stopped by a bolt splitting it literally in half, then descended to the one below Krory.
Then in a blink of an eye, the bolt morphed into a semi-transparent rope, and teleported him towards Kenna, who was guiding the aura's every movement with her hands. The vampire almost lost his footing when the aura laden rope brought him onto stable ground, then disappeared into thin air.
His eyes locked on the multi-colored eyes of Kenna, and mouthed "Thanks." to her. Kenna nodded in return, she didn't want to say anything as she wanted to focus her attention on the annoying nemesis before them. Anger rushed into her veins. Her fists were clenched to the point that her nails made crescent shaped wounds on her palms.
She took a step forward, then to the left, making sure she was standing in front of Krory. With a single movement of her cranium, she stuck her left arm out to the side, defending Krory from any sudden attacks that the Noah might send. Besides, due to the wounds and bruises on Krory's body, Kenna knew that Krory wouldn't survive any more damage at this rate.
"Ah, so you're protecting that insolent vampire friend of yours?" Jasdevi scoffed. "How kind of you, sacrificing yourself like that." Kenna slid her teeth together in response to the Noah's sardonic remark. "Aaaw, is he your boyfriend?" the Noah of Bonds continued on. "A little old though, don't you think?"
Kenna pushed aside her anger with a smirk, "And what if he is?" Jasdevi's eyes widened at her response, then narrowed his eyes down to the ground, a small "Hmph" coming from him. He then locked eyes with the violet-haired exorcist, "Well. There's no doubt that you won't have a chance to call out to him when he's dead."
The female exorcist's eyes widened at his response, the statement caught her off guard. "What?"
No response escaped the Noah's lips, Kenna could only scan the movements of Jasdevi, they were hard to make out due to the blur. She then heard the clacking of his boots against the floor behind her, along with a loud scream from Krory. Kenna covered her ears so they won't be pierced by the sickening sound of his body crashing into the numerous book shelves. Dust covered him as he fell to the ground.
The 18-year old woman felt beads of sweat run down her face due to sensing the presence of the villain behind her. She turned to face him, only to see him laughing his butt off at causing pain to her fellow exorcist. "As I said before, he's much more easier to defeat." was all he said before he averted his attention to Kenna.
The tapping of his boots against the floor echoed through Kenna's ears as he slowly came towards her. As he brought his walking to a halt, he glanced over at Krory, smiling at the vampire exorcist of whom he hated, out of the fight for good...as for right now, of course.
He then looked at Kenna, and dashed towards her. Kenna's eyes widened as she went to block his attack, but ended up feeling the pain of her back colliding with one of the walls. When the aftermath died off, she looked around, only to notice her right arm pinned to the wall by Jasdevi's right hand, the other leaning against the wall.
A grin from the Noah sliced the silence in half, "With that menace of an exorcist finally out of the way, we can finally talk...Akuma's rival." Kenna felt her heart beating at a slower pace then before due to Jasdevi's statement, let alone his face being close to hers.
"Tell me. Who are you, and why did you and that entity friend of yours decide to join the Black Order?" he asked with a raised eyebrow. Kenna felt her crease in agitation, she didn't like the way that the Noah worded that question. He knew that would only make Kenna angry, and make Kenna spill the beans. Kenna allowed her eyelashes to flutter before she shut her eyes, scanning any possible lies to come up with.
Then, after a few seconds, her eyes shot open, full with determination and bravery, "...I'm not going to tell you...brat."
The Noah fell silent due to her response, then frowned as his eyes gazed into hers. "Then if you're not going to...I'm going to force it out of you, whether you like it or not."
Her eyes widened, "What do you mean by-" Her question was interrupted when the Noah leaned in more, then planted a unexpected kiss upon her lips. Kenna felt her cheeks transition to a burgundy pigment, beads of sweat running down from her temple. She could feel the frustration building up inside of her, but felt herself only giving into the kiss as a few more minutes passed by. Before her eyes had a chance to close, she opened them and pushed herself away from the Noah with a backhand slap to his face.
Jasdevi could feel the bruise from the slap settle onto his face, but didn't really care. Kenna expected him to say "Ouch! Why did you do that?!" but all he said when he locked eyes with her again was, "What? I thought you liked it." Kenna's eyes rushed with flames as she bent one of her arms back, and sent a bone crunching blow to Jasdevi's stomach, causing him to fly back into one of the rows of bookshelves.
The male Noah's arms trembled as he went to stand up; one of his hands rested upon his forehead, small strands of his hair escaping from between his fingers. "...Geez. You don't have to get that mad." was all he said as he leaped over the rubble, only to be tackled by an unknown figure.
Jasdevi felt his head collide with the floor as the figure pinned him to the ground. His eyes looked upon the person, and his eyes widened at the sight of Krory up and moving...only that he looked different from before. Instead of his regular colored flesh, a crimson color replaced it. It seemed to cover the rest of his body. Jasdevi felt a sudden flashback play back in his mind, he's seen this form of Krory before. He had taken on this form when he ran out of flasks of akuma blood to revitalize himself. The Noah growled at the thought.
"You're...going to pay for what you did." Krory's voice echoed through the room. "And for what you said about me being weak." Jasdevi laughed, "And why should I? I meant what I said. I was able to defeat you with a few blows."
"I wouldn't say that." Krory said as he flew into the air, allowing time for Jasdevi to stand up and join the fight. With his knee bent, he joined Krory, and a series of punches and body blows occurred. No matter how many punches Jasdevi sent, he couldn't hurt Krory...he ended up getting hurt himself. The frustration of this caused him to get distracted when Krory sent a punch at him, causing Jasdevi to fly back.
Krory then locked his eyes on Kenna, "Now, Kenna!"
With a single nod, the violet-haired exorcist unfolded her hands, two orbs, growing in size by the minute, emerged in her hands. She waited until Jasdevi was about to collide with the floor, then sent them at Jasdevi. A scream of pain was the only thing that escaped from the Noah's mouth as he crashed into the pillar.
Kenna heard the sound of Krory alighting onto the ground, his form going back to normal. They waited patiently to see if the Noah would attack them, but when they saw the dust subside, they saw that the Noah was knocked out. A sigh of relief came from the both of them.
"Well, that does it." Kenna spoke up. "He's finally defeated."
Krory nodded in agreement, "He was an annoyance." He then casted his eyes upon the female exorcist. "I think they won't try to bother us or the others again."
"Yeah, same here." The vampire exorcist and her then watched as a long sigh came from Jasdevi, and then in the blink of an eye, he split in half, once again taking the form of Jasdero and David, the Noah twins. Their bodies then transitioned to that of a black color, then disintegrated into the sky, never to be seen again.
Kenna then averted her attention to the pillar, with the light escaping its doors like spilt milk. A long exhale emanated from her throat, "I guess we should get going, then. We can't just stay here."
Krory blinked, "Good idea. I wonder how Kanda's doing."
Kenna felt her checks flushed a rosy pigment, "I wonder how he is doing too."
Then, as they set foot inside the pillar and made their way to the next obstacle, Krory gave Kenna a baffled look. "...And why in the world did Jasdevi think that I was your boyfriend?"
Only a shrug came from Kenna, "Who knows? He's a weirdo."
They didn't say anything else afterwards.
