Mai let out a small shriek of surprise as he did. Naru then started to head towards his...no their room. He couldn't resist not having her in his arms and kissing her. As soon as he reached his intended destination he laid Mai on the bed. Immediately he sealed his lips with hers before she could say anything. She instantaneously responded by kissing him back.

She loved the way he made her feel when he kissed her. She felt like she had finally found her place and purpose in the world. Wanting to feel him closer to her, Mai snaked her arms tightly around Naru's neck. His arms snaked around her waist. He kissed her slowly and lovingly, not hungrily and lustfully. She kissed him back with an equal measure of gentle love.

Mai smiled. Who would have thought they would've been like this a few days ago? She certainly wouldn't have. She also didn't expect Naru to be so much more...open. Admittedly it was still a slow going process but he was getting there slowly, telling her how he felt or sharing things with her and trying to apologize when she had told him he'd done wrong. When they reluctantly pulled apart—due to air—Naru stared into her eyes and gently stroked her cheek.

"I love you so much Mai." He whispered as though saying it any louder would make the whole thing unreal and he'd discover it was a dream.

"I can tell." Mai murmured back. She let a smile slip across her lips.

"How so?" Naru asked. She blushed a little.

"A certain part of your body is kinda giving it away." She said. At the expression Naru was showing, she couldn't help but let out a small giggle.

"Sorry..." He mumbled as he started to pull away. Mai stopped him by placing her hands firmly on his shoulders. He frowned in confusion. She clutched his toga and guided him back to her lips. Unfortunately the sheet he had wrapped around himself as a toga came loose and slid right off him when she'd tugged so he was now completely nude whilst they kissed. Neither one seemed to notice at the moment though. They eventually broke their kiss, mainly to take in some air.

As soon as Naru caught his breath, he began to work on her neck. Mai gripped his shoulders again and realized something wasn't quite right. Both his shoulders were bare whereas before at least one of them was covered by his ridiculous makeshift covering. She dared to look down at him. Immediately her eyes shot back up as she blushed bright red.

"N-Na-Naru..." Mai tried to stop him from kissing her neck.

"Hmm?" He hummed as he continued kissing her neck. "What..." *Kiss* "...What is it Mai?" *Kiss, kiss, suckle*

"Y-Your...thing..." She fumbled over her words, her mind was too clouded. "it fell off..." Naru looked alarmed and looked down before relaxing. 'Nope, my manliness is still there. It didn't fall off.' He thought relieved. 'So what 'thing' was she referring to?'

"Your...your...sheet, covering thing..." Mai squeezed her eyes shut and swallowed hard. There was a naked man on top of her for heaven's sake! Okay he was her boyfriend but still...

It seemed this time that Naru realized what she was talking about. He glanced down again before leaping away from Mai and off the bed.

"Sorry..." He apologized as he covered what nature had given him with his hands. He quickly collected his sheet from the floor and wrapped it around him. He turned away from her as he secured it in place again. From the rustle of the sheets, he knew Mai had moved. He then felt her delicate warm hand on his bare shoulder. Mai added some pressure to it, letting him know to turn around. He did so but kept his gaze on the floor.

"Naru." Mai laughed to let him know she wasn't upset or anything. "Accidents happen you know." She stated. She reached up and wrapped her arms around his neck. Then she pecked him on the lips. He wrapped his arms around her waist tentatively before he kissed her back. "I suppose it's my fault it came off anyways." Mai admitted. They both blushed at the memory of what happened a few moments ago. Mai averted her gaze from embarrassment.

"So..." Naru started. "Do you think my clothes will be ready yet?"

"Oh! Right, I'll go check again." Mai released her arms from around him while he did the same. They both left the room and went back to the dryer. Mai got one of his shirts out and checked it. Thankfully it was completely dry now. She grabbed a few more items then twirled around to face him grinning. "They're all good! Here." She shoved the clothes at him. Naru quickly clasped the clothes in case Mai suddenly let go of them. He nodded in thanks and quickly left to his bedroom. Within ten minutes he was back now fully dressed. Mai, who'd changed also, smiled when she saw him.

"That's better, no more strip show!" She announced in approval. Naru gave her a small glare in return. She sure was happy about it, wasn't she? He decided to tease her slightly.

"Oh you think so?" He asked as his hands went to undo the buttons on his shirt.

"Whaaat are you doing?" Mai asked warily.

"Well you obviously thought the strip show was over so I thought I'd prove you wrong." He said as he continued unbuttoning his shirt.

"Stop!" Mai squeaked as she lunged forward and grabbed Naru's hands before he could go any further. He smirked down at her knowing his plan had been a success. Mai flushed as she snatched her hands away from him. "Are you all ready to go now or not?" Naru re-buttoned his shirt as he nodded. "Mm, do you think I should carry anything with us? A suitcase, perhaps?" She asked thoughtfully.

"Why? For what purpose?" Naru questioned.

"To get some of my things...?" Mai replied although puzzled.

"However I have the keys to the van..." He alluded. Mai nodded, understanding what he was getting at.

"Alright then." They put their shoes on and headed out the door. "Where is the van?" Mai asked as they walked down the hallway.

"At the office." Naru replied nonchalantly. Mai scrunched up her nose in distaste.

"And I suppose you're saying that we have to walk to the office?" She asked.

"Is there a problem with that?"

"I guess not..." Mai sighed.

"Good." Naru said before continuing to walk on. 'This is going to be a long walk.' Mai thought. Naru had stopped a few paces ahead and was looking back at her tentatively holding out a hand for her to take. His girlfriend beamed as she hurried and took his hand. She snuggled into his arm as they walked. 'Maybe walking isn't so bad after all.' She happily thought to herself. Besides it was only a ten minute walk anyway. They reached the office and got in the van. Sooner than she thought they were at her apartment. She looked at her small home, taking it all in as it would probably be the last time she saw it. The thought saddened her a small bit. She didn't really know where to start with packing her possessions. Was she supposed to pack everything? What about the kitchen appliances? Surely Naru had some. Then again knowing Naru...

"Ne, Naru..." She began warily.

"Yes Mai?"

"What kind of kitchen appliances do you have? I mean I'm wondering if I need to pack any of mine..." He looked rather unsure of the answer to the question. He opened and closed his mouth a few times before eventually just shrugging. Mai sighed heavily. Why did she even bother to ask?

"Alright, I guess we should pack everything and then see what's what later on." She muttered, her eyes sweeping across her apartment. "I really need to talk to my landlord about this first."

"No need Mai, I'll go and you can concentrate on packing." Naru offered.

"Thanks, but I'm going to have to be the one to do it. It's my apartment. If you went down there, he'd just tell you that he would only speak with me about the matter." Mai said with a small smile. She felt happy that Naru was willing to do it though. Naru looked really unhappy about that, he didn't think it was right at all. Mai placed her hands on her hips, knowing that expression. "Now what's wrong?"

"It just doesn't seem right to me." He muttered. Mai's brows knitted together in confusion.

"What doesn't?"

"That you are the only one who can speak to your landlord." He answered.

"Naru, would you really think it'd be okay if I talked to your landlord about you moving out. I don't think so. We're just total strangers to them." Mai said, leaving the room to go find some boxes for Naru to pack things in. Naru didn't know how to feel. He just wanted to help and he thought that was the only way he could be helpful as he knew he wouldn't be so good at the packing things in boxes job. He guessed he could try though...

He sighed and sat on the sofa. He waited for Mai to come back. If she wanted him to pack some of her things then he'd do it the best he could. She soon came back carrying an armful of boxes.

"Alright, here you go." She announced as she dropped them in front of Naru. He stared at them a little blankly. 'Now what…?' He thought.

"Hmm..." Mai twirled around surveying her living room. "I guess you could start in here." Naru shrugged and didn't say anything. He'd give it a go. Mai smiled. "Thank you." She bent down and kissed his cheek. "I'll be back soon!" Naru let out a sigh and reached for a sofa cushion to put in one of the boxes. Mai turned to leave but paused when she saw what he was doing. 'Do we really need my couch? Naru already has one...' It wasn't fitting in the box so Naru put it back and grabbed the coffee table to try that. Mai's eyes went wide. She prayed Naru just was playing around. He was a genius! He should know that a coffee table isn't going to fit inside a box! Then again he also hadn't known how to change a bed or cook. The cooking part was understandable though, lots of people can't cook, but the bed changing...Mai'd rather not live through that again. Maybe him packing her stuff wasn't such a good idea after all. Mai bit her lip. Perhaps she could tell him what to pack.

"Naru..." She called out. He let out a grunt of acknowledgment and looked at her whilst still brandishing the coffee table. "That table isn't going to fit in that small box..." She walked back to him. "Umm... Hey, why don't you just pack the books and mangas on my shelves?" Naru carefully put the table back and then nodded and went to do as requested. "I'll be back as soon as I can... Oh! And just the books and manga. Not the shelves or bookcase." Mai told him seriously.

Naru nodded solemnly before getting down to his task as she left. He could so do this! Now how would she find the arrangement of her books most helpful? Alphabetically? Genre arranged? Arranged by author? Naru thought about it for a good three minutes. He reached out to take a book from the shelf then withdrew his hand before he did so and went back to contemplating his conundrum. He figured that alphabetical would be the easiest for Mai's brain to comprehend.

After figuring this out he got to work. Mai would surely be happy with this. He reached out and grabbed the books again. In no time he was finished with his task Mai had given him. What to do now though? Mai wasn't back yet. Naru stood in the middle of Mai's living room in thought. Maybe he could try packing something else. Her clothes perhaps? That seemed easy enough. Yes, that's what he would do, he would pack her clothes. So the young man began to make his way to Mai's bedroom. He thought about where to start with her clothes. He decided that the things she needed the least should go on the bottom of the new box he got. But what would she need least? It was getting a lot warmer now...so maybe her winter clothes?

He opened the door of her wardrobe to look at its contents. Mostly he saw sweaters, long-sleeved shirts, and a few pants that was all 'wintery'. He grabbed some to put in a box. He repeated it until all the winter clothes were gone. 'Now what do I pack?' He wondered. Nightwear should probably go next. He began to search for it. He couldn't find it in her closet so he went to her dresser. He began pulling out the top drawers. In the first drawer he surprisingly found her night clothes along with her underwear, bras, and socks. He couldn't resist the urge to examine some of the items a little more thoroughly. He found a black lacy bra, which he immediately dropped. He didn't think his Mai would have something so...sexy. He looked again and this time found matching see-through underwear which he again immediately dropped before backing away and gulping. 'How am I to resist that if she wears it?' Naru shook his head. The answer was obvious...he wouldn't. But the better question is why would she even have that in the first place?!
