Please note that what happens here takes place about an hour before Lloyd woke up.
Blu and his family flew in the direction of Tulio and Linda's house. Blu was hearing constant yawns. He ignored them. He knew something was going on with Tulio and Linda. He just felt that way, like something had happened there.
"Blu how much further?" Jewel said, yawning.
"Not far, my love." Blu said, hoping she wouldn't be mad about being awoken this early. Blu looked behind him. The sun was just rising over the horizon. He hoped Tulio and Linda were awake. He squinted, and in the distance he could see the house.
Blu nodded at Jewel, and they slowed their flight. "FINALLY!" Crystal yelled in happiness. Blu looked through the small window on the door. Linda was watching Tulio mess with something. Blu knocked. Immediately Linda turned and opened the door.
"Hello Blu!" She said happily. She looked at everyone. "Glad you came. Come on in!"
Blu and his family touched down on the table Tulio was at. Blu immediately saw what it was he was messing with. It was a bird. It was unconscious. Blu knew because he saw it's chest rise and fall slowly, however it was clearly not awake.
Tulio noticed Blu looking at the bird. "This poor thing was brought to me yesterday. It was shot down by hunters. Her wing is injured badly. I removed the bullet, but it will need time to heal." He said.
Blu nodded. He looked again at the bird. That bird seemed familiar to him. He felt like he had met the bird somewhere. He couldn't think of where, though. Blu thought hard.
"Blu, are you okay?" Jewel asked. Blu looked at her.
"It's strange. I feel like I might know this bird. I don't know why, but she seems familiar." Blu said.
"She?" Jewel asked. "How do you know this bird is a she?"
"It just, came to me." Blu said. Jewel looked at him.
"This bird is a female, Linda." Tulio said.
"How can you be sure?" Linda asked.
"I ran a simple test to determine it." He said. Tulio yawned.
"Tulio, honey, I think you need some sleep. You've been awake all night." Linda said. Tulio nodded.
"I guess I could use some sleep." He said. He nodded at Blu. "Thank you for coming." He said as he walked into the other room. Linda looked at Blu.
"You guys can stay as long as you like, feel free to leave when you're ready." Linda said. She then walked into the other room as well. Aqua looked at the bird.
"It's a scarlet macaw." He said. "They're usually found in the Amazon. They aren't usually in the jungle near Rio. Atleast I haven't seen any."
"I heard that they usually are rude. They tend to see themselves as the superior race." Crystal said.
"And where did you hear that?" Jewel demanded. Crystal shrugged.
"Random gossip at that dance club." She responded. Blu kept staring at the bird.
"It's wierd, she looks very familiar. I'm sure of it." Blu said.
"Well let me know if you remember anything." Jewel said. Just then the bird's eyes opened. She sat up and looked around.
"Wh...where am I?" She asked.
"You're in a bird hospital." Crystal said. She looked at Blu.
"I didn't expect to see you here." She told Blu.
"Uhh, hello." Blu said sheepishly. She laughed.
"You're the same old Blu." The bird said.
"And you're the same old...I'm sorry please refresh my memory." Blu said.
"Blu it's me, Amy." She said. Blu's eyes widened.
"AMY? You mean you're the same bird?" Blu said. "I haven't seen you since we were kids!"
"Uhh, dad who is she?" Aqua asked.
"Her name's Amy. I met her when I was about 7 years old. We were best friends. Until one day her family just left. All these years passed and I guess I forgot about her." Blu explained.
"We did the stupidest things as kids. You couldn't imagine all the trouble we got in." Amy said. "Boy I miss those times."
"Amy, why did you leave? You didn't tell me anything." Blu said. Amy sighed.
"Remember when I told you that my father left to go see the Amazon?" She asked. Blu nodded. "Well the day before we left, he came back. He said he became good friends with a bird named Antonio. He said that Antonio invited our family to join their tribe. My father insisted that we go. He told me to not tell you. I don't know why. Anyway the whole time I was there I didn't like where I lived. We constantly had to work, and we fought with the other tribes. Everyone there was so aggressive. I didn't like it. Last week I tried to escape, however some birds saw me and started chasing me. Once I managed to get away there was a loud bang, and then there was a huge pain in my wing. That's all I remember until now." Amy explained.
"So you tried to escape. Did you tell anyone?" Blu asked.
"I couldn't." Amy said. Blu looked away.
"Blu..I'm sorry for not telling you." Amy said. Blu looked at her again.
"I understand." He said. Amy smiled.
"Anyway, what's happened in you're life?" She asked. Blu chuckled.
"Way too much. To summarize things, Linda took me to Rio so I could be with this beautiful bird right here. Her name is Jewel by the way. And she hated me. Then we were kidnapped, we escaped, we met a lot of birds, we were kidnapped again, and I jumped out of an airplane for Jewel. Then we had 3 chicks, and there's 1 on the way." Blu said. Amy smiled.
"But I thought you couldn't fly." She said.
"Well when I jumped out of the airplane, Jewel kissed me and, well, I learned to fly. That doesn't make sense but it happened." Blu said. Amy approached Jewel.
"Nice to meet you." She said. Jewel nodded.
"Pleasure's all mine." Jewel said. Amy looked at Crystal and Aqua.
"I thought you had 3 chicks." She said.
"The other one is at home. If he were here he'd probably not care about anything." Blu said.
"Sounds just like someone I once knew." Amy said, grinning. "Let me guess, you gave your parents headaches as kids."
"Definitely." Said Aqua.
"Of course!" Said Crystal.
"Well, it's good to know I wasn't the only one." Amy said. "Anyway, I assume I've got to stay here for until my wing heals."
"That's how it usually is." Blu said.
"Oh well, guess what doesn't kill you makes you stronger." Amy said.
"I guess. I hope you just don't overwork your wing." Blu said.
"It's my wing, I can do what I want with it." She said. "Blu you're as caring as always."
"And you're as reckless as always." Blu said.
"So Blu." Amy said. "Do you like living here in Rio?"
"Yeah I love it here!" Blu said. "Although, sometimes I miss the snow."
"I miss it too." Amy said. "I miss all those crazy things we did and we would always end up under a big pile of snow."
"I feel left out." Crystal told Aqua.
"I guess dad didn't spend his entire childhood reading books." Aqua said.
"It's good to know he had fun." Crystal said.
"So...Amy." Aqua began. "How did you meet my dad?"
"Hoo boy, it's a long, long, long, long, long, long, LONG story." Amy said. "Don't go anywhere and I'll tell you!"
Alright so many of you have been waiting patiently for this chapter. I have some reasons:
1. I began a new story. Yay.
2. School has started, and it takes away 9 hours of my day, plus I sleep for 10 hours and I only have 5 hours to eat, do chores, do a sliver of my homework, and write on FanFiction.
2.5. Also when I do get on fanfiction I write only a couple sentences on each story, so yep.
3. I have to edit my story for mistakes, spell check, etc.
So yep, busy busy busy. Also I spoiled the name of Jewel's new chick. He will be named Felix :D Also just a reminder I've raised my least amount of words to how much I must type for a chapter. I am now raising 750 to 2000 words, because I know you all love to read :)
Next I am so sorry about taking so long to upload. I promise I will try to make more yime for Fanfiction because I have some really neat plans for this story, and I really want to add them so you guys can enjoy them!
FYI I'm only going to allow 1 new character made by you, the viewers. After that, I'm just going to add the characters I already had planned for my story. I also plan on adding the new characters from Rio 2. I had to change the script of the story.a bit and I've did the math and it seems my story may end up having up to 65+ chapters if all goes well. I do also have plans for a sequel, but I haven't thought of a plot or storyline since it's a long time from now. Just remember that I do plan on making a sequel :)

A: I do plan on making Calamity more of a main character in the story.

A: No, but I Probably should make one so you guys can know what to expect.

A: He's hiding out, and there's going to be a huge shocker soon in the story :)

A: I already have a plot in my head, but I take a bit of time needing to translate it into the story.
