Mr. Aizawa approached Thirteen. "Thirteen, where's All Might?" he asked. "He's supposed to be her by now." Minoko tilted her head as Thirteen went in to whisper something to Mr. Aizawa. "He's so illogical," he sighed. "Well, it can't be helped. Let's begin."
"Before we start, I would like to say something," Thirteen said, "or maybe two, or three, maybe four…"
It keeps going,Minoko thought.
"As you know, my quirk is called Black Hole," she says, "I can suck anything in and turn it into ash."
"With that quirk, you use it to rescue people, right?" Midoriya asked, an enthusiastically nodding Uraraka beside him.
"Yes," Thirteen started, "but it's also a power that can easily kill people."
The class tensed, "Well, that got dark," Hagakure whispered from behind her, making Minoko nod in agreement.
"The same goes for some of you," Thirteen continued, "Some of you possess quirks that could possibly kill people if you make a mistake. In Aizawa's physical test and All Might's lesson, you saw your quirk's potential and the danger of using these powers on people."
The class was quiet as they processed her words. "This class will be different," she says."You'll learn how to use your quirks to rescue people. I want you to know that you have that power, not for the purpose of hurting others, but saving them."
Minoko smiled,Thirteen is so cool!The class cheered as she finished her speech.
"Alright," Mr. Aizawa began, "First, we will…" he stopped as the lights started to dim. Minoko tilted her head at the sputtering water fountain just down the stairs. "What's going on?"
Mr. Aizawa turned just in time to see a purple fog appear—a hand slowly emerging from it. "Stick together!" he yelled. "Thirteen, protect the students!"
"What is it?" Kirishima asked, looking past Mr. Aizawa, "Has the exercise started?"
Minoko shook her head, "We're focusing on rescue right? Why would…"
"Stay back!" Mr. Aizawa exclaimed, making them back off. He was putting his goggles over his eyes, "Those are real villains."
Villains!?Minoko stood back, keeping her eyes peeled at the numerous people coming out of the fog.What are they doing here?She faintly hears the fog dude say something about All Might supposedly being there.He is, but how could they have known that? Unless…
"So they're the ones who broke in the other day," Mr. Aizawa said, confirming her suspicions.
"All Might…the Symbol of Peace, isn't here?" The guy with a hand on his face asked—the fog guy and a mutated bird thing with its brain sticking out, stood behind him. A sigh came from the blue haired man, "After I took all the trouble of gathering a crowd this big."
His demeanor shifted as he directed his attention to the top of the stairs. "I wonder…will he come if I kill a kid?"
Immediately, Mr. Aizawa's capture weapon flew into the air. Minoko backed away, eyes wide at the proclamation. The fact that they were willing to kill children—they were fifteen for goodness sake! They shouldn't be facing anything like this so soon, it's only the first week.
And yet, evil stood only meters away from them.
"Why would they attack a hero school? Are they dumb?" Kirishima asked, watching the crowd of villains slowly approach where they were.
"We aren't exactly at school right now," Minoko said, "From what that fog guy said, they must have known there wouldn't be many heroes here."
"Thirteen," Yaoyorozu called, making the space hero turn to them,"Aren't there trespassing sensors?"
"Of course there are, but…"
"Have they also attacked the school? Or are they just here?" Tododroki asked, "Either way, they must have someone who can mess with the sensors and bring them in."
"To have someone like that, and the fact that they know who will be here," Minoko started, "they planned this, no doubt."
"Thirteen, start evacuating and call the school," Mr. Aizawa walked towards them, "Since they were able to mess with the sensors, they must also have someone jamming the signals. Kaminari," he called.
The boy in question looked up in surprise. "Use your quirk ro make a call," Mr. Aizawa ordered, making Kaminari stutter a response and hold a hand up to a device by his ear.
"Mr. Aizawa, are you gonna fight them on your own?!" Midoriya asked.
He can't be serious!Minoko looked back at the crowd. As much as she admired the hero, there are way too many villains—quite a number having mutation quirks, which he can't erase.
"Your fighting style is erase and capture," Midoriya continued. "Close combat is…"
Mr. Aizawa craned his head back a tad, "You can't be a one trick pony if you wanna be a hero," he said. "Thirteen, take care of them."
Minoko watched as Mr. Aizawa jumped down the flight of stairs. Immediately erasing three people's quirks and wrapping them in his capture weapon. He tugged on it and pulled the three close, making them hit their heads on each other, hard. He threw them aside and a guy with a mutant quirk came at him. Mr. Aizawa moved around, swiftly avoiding the guy's punches, once an opportunity presented itself, Mr. Aizawa punched the guy straight in the face, knocking him back. The capture weapon flew to wrap itself around the villain's leg, at the same time, Mr. Aizawa dodged a punch coming in from behind, and kicked the other guy to the ground. He pulled on his scarf and allowed the earlier villain to reign down on the enemy.
He's strong,Minoko marveled.One versus so many, he's at a disadvantage, but…She's watched some videos of his fights, but nothing beatsactuallyseeing him in action. As much as she wants to stare with awe, she can't stay. They were inexperienced kids, they'd be a liability.
Minoko turned around and followed the rest of the class to the exit. "Midoriya! We have to go," she called to the boy who was muttering. She had to take a step back to grab him by the arm. "We'll have plenty of time to analyze when we're all back to our normal classes," she says, ignoring the fact that she was also just standing there and watching in awe not two seconds ago.
Midoriya flinched in surprise, "Yeah," he said. The two of them ran as an eager Iida yelled for them to hurry and get to safety. Once the two were together with the rest of the class, Minoko let go of Midoriya's arm. A purple vortex started forming on the floor making everyone stop, including Minoko who nearly ran into Todoroki's back. Thirteen stood in front of the class, her arms spread out.
"I won't let you," the fog said, slowly rising up. "Nice to meet you, we're the League of Villains. We have humbly let ourselves in as to have the Symbol of Peace, All Might, take his last breath."
Their target is All Might? And they're planning to defeat him?Minoko stared at the fog guy, her heart pounding so hard she felt like her chest might bruise.And they seem so confident about it too.
The fog tilted down, "But it seems he isn't here. Was there a change of plans?"
Next thing they know, two people separated from the group heading straight for the villain. Minoko tensed up, "Kirishima!" she called out.That idiot! What is he thinking?!There was a literal pro hero with them who can suck the fog up. Minoko raised her hands in front of herself to shield herself from the debris that the explosion caused.Bakugou too?She couldn't help but huff.Of course.
The smoke cleared out and the fog was still standing. "Move you two!" Thirteen yelled, but before she could do anything, the purple fog extended around them.
"The reason I came here is to scatter and beat you to death!" A harsh gust of wind pulled them close as the purple fog whirled around the group.
Minoko closed her eyes so as to not damage them, keeping close to whoever was in front of her. Next thing she knew, she felt a familiar feeling.It's like when I use my quirk,she thinks of the displacing feeling she gets when she exchanges with things. Minoko cautiously opened her eyes, and just as she suspected, she was coming out of the purple fog, far from the entrance.
She stumbled as she fell. When she regained her balance, she observed her surroundings. She was pretty high up on an open area, soil all around—some with buildings sticking out of them.Is this the landslide zone?
The sound of crunching soil behind her made her tense up. She whipped her body around and found, "Hagakure?" she asked when she spotted floating gloves and boots running to her.
"Kaeda! They're coming!" the invisible girl said, getting behind her and holding onto her arm.
Minoko looked to her side, "They're? Who's them?!" She turned her head back to where the girl came from and her question was answered.Villains.
Minoko clicked her tongue, removing her gloves and stuffing them in her utility belt. Her left hand reached for a bracelet and she exchanged it for a pipe, handing it to Hagakure. Then, once again, this time for the shovel with a half frozen front. "Is that from the battle trial?!"
"Yeah," Minoko readied, her stance wide, anticipating who would attack first. "Didn't bother to clean up. A good thing too." A lanky guy came forward, transforming his arm into a buff one. He jumped at Minoko who dodged to the left, the shovel slamming down on the guy's back. She hears Hagakure screech as she hits a villain with the pipe.
A girl whipped her steel hair towards Minoko. She barely manages to dodge the multiple attacks, stumbling back as her hair breaks the ground. Behind her, another guy tried to charge at her with knives for fingers. The sharp tool grazes her arm as she steps aside. She kept in a flinch as her right hand reached for the guy. She managed to get him into her inventory just as the woman's hair came at her. Minoko could feel her feet get tangled in a strand or two, tilting her to the side, away from the rest of the hair. She took this opportunity to launch the shovel towards the woman, exchanging it with the other villain as it left her hand.
The two villains crashed together, but Minoko didn't have time to dwell on her victory as another villain came up to her. She stepped back as a guy with thrusted his arm forward, letting the crystals sticking out of them to shoot towards her. Minoko grabbed a hair clip and exchanged it with the beam that fell during the entrance exam. It dug to the ground and Minoko stood still behind it, holding it steady as the crystals hit it.
"Kaeda! Behind you!" she hears Hagakure yell.
Whipping her head around, she finds herself face to fist with a girl with sharp claws. Minoko was quick to tap herself. She stumbled into the room that is her pocket dimension. She let out a shaky breath as she fell to the ground.That was too close.She took a minute to calm herself, before taking a shaky stand.I have to get back.
As much as she would rather not, that girl was the last thing she saw. She didn't even see the surroundings. That means if the girl gets far away from where she last saw her, Minoko might find herself trapped since there wouldn't beanythingshe can swap back with.Curse this quirk for being sight limited. As if my poor excuse of an eyesight isn't troublesome enough.She let her right hand hold her left arm as she thought of the girl.
Minoko stopped herself from crashing onto the beam as she got back. Unlike earlier, this villain immediately started messing around with the pocket dimension, making Minoko flinch at the beginnings of a migraine. She could feel the ground shake slightly as the crystal guy approached her, his arm thrusting forward again, making crystals fly out of his skin.
Minoko yelped, her left hand reached for her necklace, throwing it to the side. She held herself in her left hand swapping places with the woman in her pocket dimension. She swapped once again, this time with the necklace she had thrown.
Appearing in the real world, she sees that the woman had shredded the crystal with her claws, but still sustained injuries. The two villains redirected their attention to her scowling. Backing away, Minoko could see something blue coming in from the distance, fast.Is that…
"Hagakure, back away!" She yelled, stepping out of the ice's way.
The two girls stumbled aside as the area froze over, trapping the villains in it, making them unable to move. Minoko let out a relieved sigh. "G-good job!" Hagakure stuttered as her hands shook.
"You're freezing!" Minoko exclaimed, grabbing a bracelet from her right wrist and swapping it out with her costume's cloak. She wrapped it around the girl. "Wear that for now," she said, "If Todoroki's close by, we should be clear of villains for a good while."
Hagakure thanked her, clutching the cloth closer. "Now, speaking of Todoroki," Minoko said, "We should probably group with him." She stood up, followed by Hagakure as they followed where the ice came from.
The two were careful going down the slope so as to not trigger a landslide. In the distance, Minoko spots as Todoroki stops a villain from ambushing him by grabbing the rod they were holding and freezing it along with the villain. Minoko couldn't hear what he was saying, but the next thing he did was bring his hand up to the other villain's face.Intimidation tactic?
By the time she and Hagakure reached the area, Todoroki must've finished getting information out of the guy. "Todoroki!" Minoko called, making the boy look over to where they were coming from.
"Kaeda," he said, putting his arm down and eyes darting behind her. "And Hagakure."
Minoko stopped in front of the boy, huffing out a laugh, "You really should watch how strong your ice is, you nearly froze us, it's dangerous ya know," she said, making the boy widen his eyes, "but we were really in a pinch back there, so you saved us really. Thanks!" she smiled at him.
Todoroki nodded slowly, "I didn't realize. I thought I was alone."
"Hey," Hagakure started, "what do we do now?"
Todoroki crouched to the ground, letting heat out from his left hand. The ice slowly melted, but only a tad, as Todoroki stood up. "I loosened the ice so it wouldn't do too much harm, but they won't be getting out any time soon."
Minoko nodded, "Where should we go now?" she said. "It's not like they're going anywhere if we stay here," she gestured to the frozen villains, "or should we go to the main plaza? Maybe search for other classmates?" Her listing was stopped by Todoroki.
"Main plaza should be our best bet," Todoroki said, "If everyone caught in that fog was transported somewhere in the USJ, they probably would be gathering back there as well."
Hagakure agreed and the three of them made their way towards the plaza. "Oh yeah, Todoroki, what did you ask that villain?" Hagakure asked.
"That fog guy said All Might was their target," Todoroki started, "It would be foolish to go after him without some sort of plan, so I asked him what they were planning." He glanced at the two girls beside him. "You saw that bird looking thing from before, right?"
Minoko nodded, "Yeah, it was with that guy with hands all over his body. Is that…"
"Their secret plan," Todoroki nodded. "The guy called it Nomu. Apparently it's been genetically engineered to take down All Might."
Hagakure hummed, "How is that possible though?"
"I asked him that too, but he didn't know either," Todoroki said.
They reached the edge of the landslide zone, and they could hear fighting at the plaza. A familiar loud booming voice reached their ears. "All Might's here!" Hagakure cheered, making the three of them hurry.
From the distance they saw the scene play out. All Might tried to manhandle the Nomu, but the fog guy was meddlesome and now, All Might was stuck in the hands of the Nomu whose body was half in the vortex. Todoroki looked just about ready to run when Minoko stopped him. "This'll be faster." She focused on the scene in front of her and took note of the debris scattered.
"Hold on to me." She felt Todoroki place his hand on her shoulder, while Hagakure held her by the arm. Minoko tapped herself with her hand. Since the two were holding on to her, they got transported along with her.
They arrived in the room and she took a moment to let Hagakure and Todoroki adjust to the feeling. "I always assumed you just teleport as is," Todoroki commented, looking around the room, before Minoko swapped the three of them with fallen debris from the real world.
They ended up right in front of the scene. Todoroki immediately let out a stream of ice as Midoriya was speeding towards All Might only to be intercepted by the fog guy—who in turn was blasted away by Bakugou. This allowed Todoroki's ice to get past and freeze the Nomu.
All Might broke free of its hold and landed near them, a hand clutching a bleeding side as he crouched to the ground. Kirishima jumped at the hand guy who backed away. "Stop trying to act cool, you foggy extra," Bakugou said, pressing down on the metal plate surrounding the fog guy's neck.
Todoroki let go of Minoko's shoulder, "The Symbol of Peace can't be killed by you fools," he declared.
"Kacchan," Midoriya looked to his right, then to them, "Everyone."
They all looked at the hand villain in front of them, "Kurogiri," he started, "our exit has been compromised. We're in a bit of a pinch," his voice heightened in amusement.
Bakugou pushed down Kurogiri, laughing, saying how careless he had been and that he actually had a physical body under all that fog. Kurogiri tried to struggle, causing Bakugou to make explosions appear. "Don't move or I'll explode you so badly that it'll take weeks to piece you back together."
"So violent," Minoko muttered.
"That's not very heroic!" Kirishima said.
Minoko whipped her head back to where the hand dude stood, "Aside from capturing us, almost all the students are uninjured," he said. "Kids these days are so strong. You make the League look bad." He shifted his gaze to the creature on the ground. "Nomu."
The Nomu started twitching, pulling itself out of the vortex. Minoko and the others took a step back as it emerged and the ice broke its limbs off. "Everyone get back!" All Might exclaimed, but they were too focused on how muscle sprouted from the Nomu, rebuilding the arm and leg that it lost.
"What the?" All Might stood, "Isn't its quirk Shock Absorption?"
"It is," the hand guy said, "but I didn't say it was the only one."
It has more?Minoko stared at the Nomu in disbelief.
"This is Body Regeneration," he said. "The Nomu was designed to be on par with your 100%!" Everyone readied themselves. "First, let's retrieve our gate. Go, Nomu." The bird-like creature charged.
Minoko doesn't know what came over her. She had just reprimanded Kirishima in her mind when he attacked that warp gate about how stupid it was. Yet here she was swapped with Bakugou's position, right hand reached out to the Nomu who had its fist directed at her. Her fingers landed on its biceps, making it disappear. Quickly, she took her last hair clip off and to the side, exchanging it with Bakugou, who stumbled backwards.
She had her foot on Kurogiri's metal plate, and she looked up to see All Might's shocked face as the man had a foot forward, ready to dash off. "Oi!" the hand guy yelled, "What did you do to Nomu!"
What the fuck did I do??She screamed in her mind, "I don't know, you tell me."Shut the fuck up Minoko, you want to die or something?!
All Might walked over to the girl, taking Kurogiri from her. "Young Kaeda, go join the others. I shall handle this."
Not wanting to get into any more trouble than what she's already in, she rushed over to where the others were. "Kaeda, that was so manly," Kirishima praised when she reached them.
Midoriya nodded, "You were so fast, I didn't even realize you moved."
Minoko huffed out a laugh, "Neither did I," she muttered.
"Are you alright?" she hears Hagakure say.
"I think?" she said.
"The Nomu?" Todoroki questioned.
"Hidden away," Minoko said, repressing a wince. She could feel Nomu's heavy steps damaging the floor of her pocket room. But from what she saw, it isn't going anywhere without orders.
"Oi, hair clips," Bakugou said, "I didn't need your help."
Is he serious?"Okay, think of it as a capture mission then. It was just a convenient moment," she said, making the boy click his tongue but say nothing else.
"Annoying," the hand guy said as he began scratching his neck, "all of you are so annoying."
"Shigaraki, calm down," Kurogiri said from All Might's hold.
"How is it possible you got Nomu so easily?" Shigaraki directed his attention to Minoko. "What kind of cheats are you using? You know, it's never fun to play with someone who plays unfairly."
You say that yet attack a bunch of kids, Minoko thought.
"You have nothing left," All Might started, "both of your comrades have been captured and none of your goons seem to be able to help either. It's best to hand yourself over."
Shigaraki wasn't listening to him, "You sent Nomu away, bring him back!"
"And you think I'll just listen 'cause you said so?" Minoko asked, she could feel her hand shaking—is it from fear or quirk exhaustion? She doesn't know at this point.
Shigaraki hummed, "I wonder if Nomu will come back once you're dead." Minoko tensed and her classmates took fighting stances. "Your hands are shaking," he pointed out, "You're getting tired aren't you?"
In the corner of her eyes, she could see All Might contemplating on what to do. On one hand, he had Kurogiri with him, so attacking Shigaraki would risk him getting away—getting their means of exit back is the last thing they needed to happen. On the other hand, this villain was threatening a student.
"It must be nice having a touch activated quirk and not worrying about killing anyone," Shigaraki continued. "Lame," he said. The longer this dragged out the more agitated the Nomu seemed, if the angry stomps are anything to go about. "You're keeping Nomu somewhere you can control, aren't you?" he laughed. "So obvious."
How does he know all that?Minoko kept a glare on him,"They're the ones who broke in the other day."She remembers Mr. Aizawa's words earlier.Wait—did he see me use my quirk??
"Bring Nomu back, I know you can." Shigaraki tilted his head at Minoko when she gave him no acknowledgements, "You know, I still gave Nomu an order earlier. It hasn't been accomplished yet."
As if on cue, Minoko felt a sharp stab at the back of her head. The suddenness prevented her from keeping in a whimper. She could feel the Nomu going out on a full on rampage. "AAHH!" Minoko yelled, dropping to the ground.
"Kaeda, what's wrong?" Kirishima crouched down to her.
"It's…making…such a…mess," she stuttered out.
"What does that mean?" Todoroki asked.
"The Nomu's wrecking her pocket dimension," Kirishima said, remembering Minoko's explanation about her quirk during that time they headed home after the entrance exam. His head turned towards All Might. "She can't keep it in there any longer."
"Young Kaeda," All Might called, walking towards the students, Kurogiri still in hand. "You can let the Nomu out, I'll handle it."
Minoko shook her head stubbornly. All Might was injured enough as it is. He might think he's slick, but he's obviously having trouble with that injury to his side—he's still bleeding for goodness sakes. Minoko turned towards Shigaraki, "He…he can't do anything…without the Nomu or…the warp gate." She curled in on herself more as the pain increased. "We can…get him…once backup comes," she panted, "Just…stall…longer."
Shigaraki let out a deranged laugh, "You really are annoying! Don't worry, Nomu's very obedient."
Another sharp sting hit her. Minoko felt like splitting in half and getting it over with. It was a waiting game. Shigaraki kept speaking, but Minoko was too focused on not passing out that she understood absolutely nothing. She thinks about seven minutes had passed by this point. Minoko whimpered, "All Might," she muttered. "Please hand Midoriya and the others the warp guy. You're gonna need both hands for this one."
She waited until Kurogiri was securely in Bakugou's hands once more, before grabbing her last bracelet. "Here it comes," she said, throwing the bracelet away as the Nomu got swapped back to the real world. All Might took advantage of this and took the first attack.
A large gust of wind blew them away. She felt Kirishima hang onto her shoulders as they were thrown back. Minoko's consciousness was practically hanging on a thin thread. She can't afford to pass out though. She'd be a liability—everyone was dealing with so much already and her unconscious state isn't gonna do them any good.
They watched All Might and Nomu throw punches at each other back and forth. The few times All Might managed to get a solid hit in, it didn't even seem to affect the Nomu. All Might blocked an incoming punch to the face, when the Nomu abandoned the fight heading towards them. Minoko was sure she heard All Might say "Shit", but now was not the time to be amused. Not that she's even processing anything that's happening now.
A block of ice appeared in front of them, allowing a few seconds of time to get out of the way before the Nomu broke through. Minoko stumbled out of the way with Kirishima shielding her from the shattered ice. Explosions erupted from behind followed by Shigaraki's yelling, "Nomu, now!"
Nomu charged at Bakugou again, and he was able to dodge the attack on his own, throwing Kirigiri towards All Might's waiting arms. All Might kept Kurogiri under his foot as large blows were exchanged between him and the Nomu. All Might taking in more damage than the opponent, making the students watch the fight in concern.
"All Might," Shigaraki's voice called as the Nomu slowed its attacks. "I'd get off of our mode of exit if I were you."
They all turned to where Shigaraki stood—much closer than before—hand stretched forwards holding something.Air?Monoko wondered when she squinted her eyes to get a better look at the scene.Hagakure?!
A squeak came from the girl as Shigaraki slowly lowered his fingers around her neck until only one was not touching her skin. All Might blocked another punch from the Nomu, "Leave the students alone," he demanded.
"Oh, I will," the grin practically audible as Shigaraki spoke, "Leave the warp gate alone first."
Minoko watched as All Might's face twisted in a contemplative one. "Alright," he said, making her perk up.Is he really gonna trust his word?
All Might removed his foot from where he was holding Kurogiri still, allowing him to warp to where Shigaraki stood. "Just kidding," Shigaraki said, but before he could lay another finger on Hagakure, All Might managed a hit on Nomu and used his immense speed to grab Hagakure away from Shigaraki—the way he tugged at her arm, allowing the other man's hold to loosen.
All Might landed in front of the other students, allowing Hagakure to join the others. "All Might," Hagakure whispered, voice wobbling.
"The student's lives are our priority," he whispered before rushing to meet the attack Nomu was launching at them.
Minoko kept her left hand on Kirishima's arm, grounding herself, both physically and mentally. She watched All Might and for some reason, she feels like the way he was fighting was different. He doesn't react when Nomu's fists make contact with his body, his movements were a lot faster, and judging the damage Nomu was getting this time around, his hits were a lot stronger.Was he keeping a part of his power?Minoko wondered where this burst of energy came from.
But before All Might could fully release his power, a loud gunshot erupted from the entrance. Minoko's eyes wandered to where a bunch of heroes gathered. "Sorry we're late," a voice said, "I gathered everyone available."
Principal Nezu,Minoko's brain filled in. A small smile came to her lips as Iida announced his return. "Hey, Kirishima," she called as she felt the adrenaline slowly disappear, her body relaxing.
The red haired boy looked down at her, an eyebrow raised, "Hmm?"
We'll be fine,a final thought before her vision turned dark.

When she is in her pocket dimension, the last view she had in her field of vision becomes the new 'pocket dimension'. However, there is a huge chance of her getting trapped in there (possibly forever) if
(a) she cannot remember what she last saw, or
(b) the area/item of focus is changed significantly (ex: she wants to swap with a tree but it's been cut down or a person she wants to swap with changes location).
