"So that's how we met." Amy said.

"We did so much stuff together as kids. But we also got in trouble a lot." Blu said.

"Well, that's enough back stories for now." Amy said. "I guess I should tell you guys something."

"What is it?" Blu asked.

"Remember how I told you I left my group in the Amazon?" Amy said.

"Yeah, what about it?" Blu asked.

"Well...I need your help." Amy said.

"With what?" Blu asked.

"I want you to help me get rid of them." Amy said.

"What do you mean 'get rid of'?" Jewel said.

"They're corrupt. They want to kill every single Spix Macaw." Amy said.

"Really?" Aqua said.

"Why?" Blu asked.

"Because of an incident that happened 30 years ago in the Amazon." Amy said. "There was this nuclear facility there. No birds knew of it's existence. Only thing there was a well. But no one thought it was suspicious."

"I think I've heard of that base in one of Linda's books about Brazil." Blu said. "Apparently it was abandoned due to government issues. A few years later it was ordered to move everything to Ecuador. However, all the bombs exploded, seemingly out of the blue."

"Yeah. There's more to that. At that time period there were 2 tribes. The Scarlet Macaw tribe, and the Spix Macaw tribe. When the explosion happened, a majority of the Spix Macaws were killed, and more were never found. Spix Macaws were investigating the area, when the leader of the Scarlet Macaw tribe turned up and starting watching the birds. They spread rumors about the Spix Macaws causing the explosion. The world already knew of the Scarlet Macaw's power, and how they practically owned the Amazon. When they heard the rumor, they automatically assumed it was true." Amy explained.

"Wait, so these Scarlet Macaws think that our kind caused a nuclear plant to destroy part of the Amazon, on purpose?" Crystal asked. Amy nodded.

"Wait, but why did everyone believe them?" Aqua asked.

"Because of their power." Amy said. "Even now, many birds believe that the Scarlet Macaws own the Amazon. They'll believe anything they say about the Amazon. All because of their power."

"Well that's stupid!" Crystal yelled. "What gives them the right to think they own everything?"

"What's worse, they've taken further action to kill the Spix Macaw race off. They've created an organization called Justice. The commander is the current leader of the Scarlet Macaw tribe, Felipe."

"What about the Spix Macaw tribe? Do they still exist?" Blu asked.

"Yes, but they hide in the Amazon, and avoid every bird possible." Amy said. "There's about 50 Spix Macaws left of the original 1270." Amy said. "Most were killed by Justice."

"So there is more of our kind." Jewel said silently. "Amy. Can you show us where they are? We need to help them!"

"I could only show you to their last known location, but, I don't think you can make the trip." Amy said.

"What? Why?" She argued.

"You're expecting chicks." Amy said. "You seem to have little more than a week before they arrive. It'd be a couple months before you'd be in shape to fly to the Amazon. But you'll have a chick by then. There's too much interference."

"I guess." Jewel said, sadly.

"It's okay Jewel." Blu said, comforting her. "You stay and watch the kids. Me and Amy will go and help our race."

"No way!" Crystal said, approaching her father. "If you're going to the Amazon to save our race, I atleast want to help in any way I can!"

"No Crystal. I don't want you to get hurt."

"Dad I don't care about that. I want to help our race! I want to help out! I respect you more than anyone else in this whole world, but I won't let you leave me here without doing a single thing for our race!"

"If you want to help our race so badly, help your mother with her baby." Blu said sternly. "You're my only daughter, and I love you. If things go to Hell over there, I don't want to see your lifeless corpse out on the ground!"

"But Dad!" Crystal said.

"No buts!" Blu said to her. Crystal looked away.

"Okay Dad." She said.

"Man time flies." Aqua said, looking at the clock. "It's already 11:00 a.m. I'm sure Lloyd might be a bit worried."

"Let's go home. I've gotta prepare for the travel to the Amazon." Blu said. "I'll be back in a few days to check up Amy. You just focus on getting healed." Amy nodded.

"Okay Blu, I'll see you then." Amy said. Blu and his family began to fly back to their hollow.

"Dad I think you're getting way in over your head." Aqua said.

"What makes you say that?" Blu asked.

"First of all, you seemed a bit quick to agree helping out Amy, and, well, you're not much of a fighter. Lloyd could beat you in a fight. You're planning on heading to the Amazon to possibly fight a war against two different races of birds. I'm curious to know what you're thinking."

"Well, true I'm no fighter. But I have something those Scarlet Macaws probably don't have." Blu pointed to his head. "Wits."

"You never know dad. They might surprise you. Kinda like Nigel. He seems like a good-for-nothing uneducated trashy Cockatoo. But from the stories you told us Nigel seemed pretty smart and used to be an Star." Aqua said.

"Well, true, but I outsmarted him in the end." Blu said.

"But he kinda outsmarted you. He led you and mom to believe he's been dead for 12 years before coming out from hiding and attacked us."

"Well, true, but.." Blu began

"Please stop saying 'well, true'" Crystal complained.

"We still don't know where Nigel is. I'm not sure what his next motive is. Even worse, he could probably be involved in this 'Justice' crap." Blu said.

"I sure hope not. It's bad enough knowing that he could be plotting something far away that could kill us. However, I wonder. Why would Nigel join Justice? He seems like a lone wolf. I don't think he would get involved with a secret organization unless he was commanding it." Jewel said.

"But he did have that Riot guy or whatever with him when he attacked us." Aqua said.

"Yeah, but who's to say Nigel wasn't just using him, and would abandon him when he got what he wanted?" Crystal argued.

"Nigel's not the kind of guy to have partners. After all, he didn't seem to care about Marcel leaving him." Blu said. "It's likely that Nigel would abandon any 'partners' he may have. Even if it was a whole organization."

"Nigel would probably plot against them too. Find a way to get rid of them, ensuring they don't get back at him for his treason." Aqua said.

"Let's just hope Nigel isn't secretly commander of this organization." Jewel said. "Let's get off this topic. It's making me uncomfortable."

"Yes honey." Blu said.

When they arrived home they immediately saw Lloyd, Cody, and Jamie talking.

"Oh hey guys! Glad you're back. Listen, I have to tell you guys something VERY important." Lloyd said to them.

"We have to tell you something too." Aqua said.

"Okay, well you see that bird?" Lloyd said, pointing to Jamie. "She's a Spix macaw, just like us, and she travels the world. And she told me something very disturbing and saddening."

"And what was that?" Jewel asked.

"There's this evil group called 'Just is' or some crap like that and they plan on killing all of our race!" Lloyd said. Everyone gasped.

"Lloyd! We met one of dad's old friends, and she told us the same exact thing!" Crystal told him.

"Dad is going to go and help our race to drive out the Scarlet Macaws, because they are the ones who are behind this Justice group." Aqua explained.

"Well them I'm going too. And mom's coming with us." Lloyd stated.

"No you're not. And neither is your mother." Blu said.

"Yes we are! Jamie told us that she met the Spix Macaw tribe, and she met this bird named Eduardo. He lost his wife and daughter in this nuclear explosion 30 years. That guy's daughter is mom! Me, Jamie, and Cody are going to reunite them!"

"I'm not sure your mother could make the flight." Blu said. "She's pregnant, and the Amazon is 2,800 miles away. That's about a 4 day flight for us."

"Blu shut up for a minute and let me decide what I want to!" Jewel yelled. "I'm going to the Amazon. I need to see my dad again!"

"But honey..." Blu began.

"But nothing! I'm going!" Jewel interrupted. "How would you feel if you knew where your parents were? You wouldn't let anything stop you!"

"I guess not." Blu muttered.

"I don't care if I'm pregnant! I'll make the trip to the Amazon to see my father!" Jewel yelled. "And that's final!" Jewel calmed down a little bit. "Lloyd, tell Jamie we'll leave when she's ready."

"Y...yes ma'am." Lloyd stammered, then went off to find Jamie.

"But, Jewel, I don't think we should leave yet." Blu said.

"You can either come with me, or go when Amy is ready. I'll have Lloyd and Cody to protect us." Jewel said. "Kids, you leave with your father."

"No Jewel! They're not coming!" Blu argued. Jewel got up in his face.

"Yes they are. I don't trust having them here by themselves. Nigel, or those Justice birds, could come. You never know." Jewel told him.

"But it'll be dangerous in the Amazon. When and if the fight starts..."

"Who's saying they will be fighting?" Jewel said. "I'm not stupid enough to let my babies fight in a war! Especially since they're not even adults yet!"

"Okay...fine Jewel. I'll see you in a few days or so." Blu said.

"Man, what is it with our parents being quick to agree to stuff?" Aqua asked Crystal.

"I dunno. This is a weird family." Crystal responded. Lloyd approached his mother.

"Mom, Jamie said we can leave tonight." Lloyd said.

"Okay. That sounds good." Jewel said.
