Just as Kirishima had said, a week or so from then, Mr. Aizawa announced that he had in fact readied a training session for them—particularly in the form of capture the flag. "Isn't this a bit childish?" Iida muttered.
Midoriya hummed, still dressed in his PE uniform, unlike the rest who were in hero costumes. "It does sound like so at first, but capturing the flag is a good activity to improve critical thinking skills, teamwork, agility…" he starts mumbling at this point, and the rest of them couldn't really understand what he said next.
"Wouldn't it be like the first training exercise though?" Kaminari asked, "We're just trying to capture something again."
"Young Kaminari is correct!" All Might appeared next to Mr. Aizawa in front of the fake city that is Ground Omega. "However, there are a few factors that are different."
"In this training exercise," Mr. Aizawa started, "You will be grouped into 3 teams with seven members each, thus I will be helping with the observations," he said. "This is supposed to help you function in big groups. And unlike with the nuclear bomb scenario, here, you can't all just charge in since all of you will have something to protect."
"Not to mention, back then you were in one building," All Might started, "this time, you will have the whole city as a battleground."
It suddenly became more interesting!
"For the groups, we will once again choose at random!" All Might pulled out another lottery box.
Why does the school have so many lottery boxes?Minoko wondered as All Might picked the first seven students. Are we susceptible to gambling?
"For the Green Team we have Aoyama, Midoriya, Jirou, Todoroki, Ashido, Kouda, and Shouji. Next, in the Yellow Team we have Ojirou, Kaminari, Kaeda, Iida, Asui, Satou, and Yaoyorozu. Finally, for the Red Team, Tokoyami, Bakugou, Uraraka, Hagakure, Sero, Mineta, and Kirishima."
"The city is divided evenly for territories, marked with tape the same color as your team," Mr. Aizawa said, "Your goal is to capture two flags while keeping your own safe. Make sure that once any flag is in your base, it is visible and free for all to get. In any other area, feel free to keep it with any means possible. The activity ends when a team has gotten back all three flags, or once the hour is up. If no one gets all three by the end, then no one wins. Keep in mind, whether you win or lose, it will affect your grade."
"If no one has any questions, one member from each team may come up and get their flag," All Might said, waving around three different colored flags, "then proceed to your designated areas and wait for the signal."
Minoko walked beside Kaminari as they gathered in the Yellow Territory. "Ah, there's already so much going on, I don't even remember who's on what team," Kaminari complained.
"Everyone!" Iida approached them with the yellow flag in hand. "We should begin looking for a place to make our base and discuss strategies there. The teachers said we only have 10 minutes to do so before they start the battle."
"Should we go somewhere high up?" Yaomomo asked.
"High up with shelter preferably," Minoko said, "It'll be more challenging to get to us without being so exposed, there classmates of ours that would take advantage of us if we're too out in the open."
"What about over there?" Satou asked, pointing up to a tall building with a giant billboard on it surrounded by a few taller buildings.
"That's perfect!"
The seven of them headed over, bringing the flag at the top, placing it somewhere below the billboard. "We should first know what our opponent's advantages are," Yaoyorozu said. "For the Green team, they're positioned to our right."
"That team has pretty good people for scouting, ribbit," Tsuyu said. "Jirou, Shouji, and Kouda are all on the same team."
"We should be wary when we head over," Iida said, "They're likely to be easy to detect us and plan an ambush."
"Their big hitters are Todoroki and Midoriya—if he uses his quirk," Kaminari pointed out.
"As for the Red Team, that one's pretty well balanced," Minoko started, "They have big hitters like Tokoyami, Bakugou, pretty solid defense with Kirishima and a capturing team with Sero and Mineta. Ochako's pretty agile, not to mention she's probably the only one who can use her quirk to scale this building without attracting attention." She sighed, "There's also Hagakure who's literally invisible and can sneak up on us at any time."
"When you point it out like that, it sounds kinda depressing," Kaminari said.
"Do not be disheartened, you two!" Iida reprimanded. "Our team also has a few advantages of its own. Since the game requires chasing, capturing and defending, speed and agility are important factors for success. And thinking about it, it seems like our team is the most agile with myself, Kaeda, Asui—"
"Call me Tsu."
"—Tsu, rather, and Ojirou," Iida said, "The four of us should be the ones engaging in the city."
"We should still leave at least one of you here in case defense fails so they will be able to retrieve the stolen flag," Yaomomo pointed out.
"I'll stay behind," Ojirou offered, "I'll be able to run after them as well as defend with my quirk."
"Alright then," Yaoyorozu said, "Here." She handed out small items to the team. "I made these earpieces so we can still contact each other and give updates on what's happening." She then made another item, "Insulation sheets to protect ourselves from Kaminari's attacks. I've been trying to make enough for us the moment we entered the city."
Minoko stood at the edge of the roof, contemplating which team to go after. "Capturing the flag would be easy for me, as long as I get to see it," she said. "I'll go after the Red Team's flag, there won't be quirks that would be able to obstruct my vision, unlike if Todoroki—who, unfortunately knows how my quirk works—summons a wall of ice."
"I'll go with you, ribbit," Tsuyu said, "I can throw you up so you can have a wider view."
"As much as I hate to lessen our defense, I would rather have someone with me than charge in alone," Iida said.
"I'll go," Satou said, "I'm not as fast as you, but I can pack a punch."
Iida nodded at him, "That would be greatly appreciated."
"I will help with the defense then," Yaoyorozu said.
"Oh Yeah! We can use the insulation sheet so I can go all out in case we get infested with enemies!" Kaminari said, grinning and punching his fist to his palm, "Lure them in and take them all out in one go!"
"It seems like it is settled," Iida said, "Satou and myself will go after the Green Flag, while Kaeda and A—Tsu will capture the Red Flag, while Yaoyorosu, Kaminari, and Ojirou defend our flag."
"We'll come help as back up if we get our flag back first," Minoko gave Iida two thumbs up.
"And we will too if we get back first," Satou said.
"You have 1 hour to complete the exercise."A robotic voice started,"Ready? GO!"
Minoko and Tsuyu immediately took off, taking the low ground as they maneuvered around the city. She was traveling using her quirk, as well as collecting random things when,"We are now engaging in a battle with Todoroki."Iida's voice came in from the earpiece."Ashido was able to slip past us, please look out for her."
"Minoko, I think I see it, ribbit," Tsuyu said, pointing up at the building.
A loud explosion came from the building, flinging a person up and towards the Yellow Territory. "We just saw Bakugou leave his base, he might be going after our flag," Minoko reported. "Tsuyu, can you launch me that high up?"
"I believe so." Tsuyu wrapped her tongue around Minoko and spun around before launching her into the air.
Minoko immediately saw the base. The only people guarding it were Kirishima, Sero, and Mineta. She smirked when she spotted the flag near the back. "There she is!" Mineta exclaimed, but before any of them were able to do anything, Minoko tapped herself.
She ended up in her pocket dimension, and using one of her bracelets she exchanged it with the red flag, setting it aside somewhere hidden. Unfortunately, there is a small inconvenience that will result from this plan. The only items she can swap with are the ones in their territory. But she's hoping that with Tsuyu's help, they'll be able to escape.
Minoko thought back to the items on the roof. There were her classmates, the flag, and…shit, she thought. There was only one other item there, which was a chair, in the middle of the three. She clicks her tongue. There's only one person in this team that knows how exactly her quirk works.Damn you Kirishima.
She doesn't really have a choice, she has to go back one way or another. Minoko scanned the room and grabbed a crowbar, focusing on them both. She took a deep breath and swapped with the chair. "Get her!" Kirishima exclaimed the moment she appeared.
"Tsuyu!" Minoko called as Sero launched his tape at her, which she swatted away with the crowbar. Tsuyu jumped up to the building, tying her tongue Mineta who was about to attack her, and throwing him towards Sero, making them stick to each other.
"I'm getting that flag back!" Kirishima exclaimed, charging at Tsuyu who dodge, but was instead caught by Sero's tape.
"Don't count me out yet!" Sero exclaimed, his elbow free of all the stickiness, aiming at them. He tugged his arm back, pulling Tsuyu down.
"Come on Kaeda, give the flag back," Kirishima demanded.
"...No," she said.
"Well I guess we'll just have to knock you out and get it ourselves." Kirishima charged at her and aimed for the back of her head.
Minoko clutched the crowbar tighter and exchanged it with the robot scraps from the entrance exam. This bought her time to move aside as Kirishima teared through the metal "Where do you even get all these?!"
She glanced at Tsuyu who was struggling against the tape. She has to get rid of Kirishima if she wants to help Tsu. It would be a bit risky, but if she's fast enough, maybe they'll finish before Kirishima has done enough damage in there. She turned just in time to see Kirishima about to hit her. She took this chance to tap him, but he was fast to back away. Minoko clicked her tongue as Kirishima gave her a smirk.
Minoko charged back in. Kirishima dodged her evasions trying to land a hit on her at the same time avoiding her right hand. Minoko took this as an advantage as anytime Kirishima's hand goes anywhere to try to knock her out, she just reaches for it, and he instantly backs off. She could hear something whirring behind her and grasped for a bracelet shoving it behind her. It was swapped with a box, which was now wrapped in Sero's tape. "Damn it!"
Minoko looked back again and found herself face to face with Kirishima. She flinched back, grabbing hold of her coak. Expecting her to swap it with something heavy, Kirishima took a step back and crossed his arms, blocking his face. Minoko chuckled as she let the cloak land on top of Kirishima obstructing his view before she landed her hand to his side.
"Oi Mineta do something!"
"Do something about this damn tape first, I can't move!"
She hears the two bickering. Minoko walks back to where they were, grabbing a bracelet and swapping it with a huge beam that she found earlier. It blocked any space Sero and Mineta could use to aim their quirks at her as she freed Tsuyu from Sero's tape, using scissors that she had swapped with her hair clip.
"Thanks," Tsuyu said. "Should we head back?"
"Just a sec," Minoko said, "I'm gonna need you to throw me towards our base and follow me, the instant I throw this," she held up the scissors, "upwards. I can't risk Kirishima damaging my pocket dimension." Too much that is. She can already feel him punching the ground.
"Got it, ribbit."
Minoko took a deep breath and threw the scissors as far as she could as it was exchanged with Kirishima—who, from what she saw, screamed and hardened his body, readying for impact. Minoko felt Tsuyu wrap her tongue around her and launch her towards the direction of their base. She traveled back with her quirk, Tsuyu right behind her.
"We've got the red flag," Minoko reported, "how's things on your guys' end?"
"Bakugou was here for a moment, but apparently he and Midoriya were both after the same flag, so instead, he went after the Green's one. Midoriya is chasing him now,"Yaoyorozu said.
"We're still on the lookout for Hagakure and Uraraka since Tsuyu said that they weren't defending,"Ojirou added."We haven't seen Ashido either."
"It seems like we found a bit of trouble,"Iida said."Todoroki had blocked every path, even the alleyways, with ice."
"We can't get any further,"Satou said.
"Guys! Look!"Kaminari's voice was faintly heard before the defense team promptly turned off their devices.
Tsuyu swung on a pipe, catching up to her."We should hurry and help them, ribbit."
When they reached their base, they could see Uraraka and Hagakure wrapped in a rope, and Kaminari with his thumbs up. "Is he alright?" Minoko asked as she landed on the rooftop.
"Yes," Yaoyorozu said. "It's just, his brain short circuits when he over uses his quirk."
Minoko huffed out a laugh, "Poor guy," she pats him on the shoulder with her left hand.
"Whey!"
"We should be ready for a counter attack from Kirishima, Sero, and Mineta," Tsuyu said. "They might charge in at any time since we already have their flag."
"Yeah," Minoko said, placing the red flag on the flag holder beside theirs. "But so far we're on the lead, so once the other team realizes that, they'll charge for us too."
"Should we send reinforcements to Iida and Satou?" Yaoyorozu asked.
"I'll go," Tsuyu said, "I'll throw them over the ice."
"Maybe I should go too. If Todoroki is still defending, I can help break his ice" Ojirou said, "If Kaeda would stay here, that is."
Minoko nodded, "I'll stay, I don't mind."
Tsuyu and Ojirou left to help Iida and Satou while Yaoyorozu and Minoko was left to guard the flags—
"Whey!"
—And Kaminari.
Minoko glanced at the giant clock in the sky. About 30 minutes had passed since the start of the exercise. Even if they don't get the green flag, they'll still have the most flags so she hopes that counts for something. Then again, a hero doesn't half ass anything.
In the distance they could hear explosions. Looking over, Minoko could spot pieces of ice going up to the sky as they were broken. "Oh boy," she muttered. "If Bakugou gets the Green Flag, we're in deep trouble."
"Yes, it is quite troubling," Yaoyorozu agreed, her eyebrows furrowed in worry. If Bakugou captures the Green Flag, not only is he heading over to capture the two that they have, he'll be leadingeveryoneelse towards them as well. It's going to be like a finale.
"Defense team! Bakugou has secured the Green Flag, he is heading towards you now!"Iida exclaimed.
"We're doomed!" Kaminari exclaimed, finally back to normal.
"Kaminari! You're back!" Minoko exclaimed, "Can you do that shocking the opponents thing again?"
Kaminari nodded, "Yeah, but, I'll be honest, I don't think Bakugou's gonna stop at anything."
"You don't have to stophim, but you can at least lessen the opponents by knocking the others down," Yaoyorozu said.
"Oi!" Minoko exclaimed, spotting two figures emerging from the back of the building.
"It seems that we have been spotted. Understandable as no one can keep their eyes away from my sparkles!" Aoyama said as he blasted up into the air, with Ashido hanging onto his back.
The two landed on the rooftop with Ashido immediately using her quirk to slide towards the flags. She managed to grab the yellow one before she had been caught by Yaoyorozu's net. "Aoyama, catch!" Ashido threw the flag his way. Aoyama reached forward to catch it, but instead he found himself in an unfamiliar room.
"Thanks for the flag," Minoko said, catching it when she exchanged places with Aoyama. She then handed it over to Yaoyorozu just as a new voice joined them.
"Oi! Dunce Face, Ponytail! Hair Clips!" Bakugou's yell made them all turn to the other side where the blond was blasting through the air. "Give me those damn flags!" He yelled landing on the rooftop.
Behind him Minoko could see their other classmates catching up. They don't need more people on the roof right now. "Kaminari," she reached for the boy and swapped him with a hair clip. Minoko aimed to the middle of the upcoming crowd and swapped the hair clip with Kaminari as she threw it. "Now!"
Yaoyorozu ducked both of them under the insulation sheet as Kaminari's lightning surged all throughout the area. Once there were only occasional sparks left, the two peeked out of the sheet and found almost everyone down on the ground. It's gonna take them a bit to recover, for now, they have to worry about…
Bakugou and Todoroki. They found themselves face to face with the top 2 students in class.
"Don't think a little spark's all you're gonna need to take me down," Bakugou panted as a dangerous smirk formed on his lips.
"It was a rather expected move," Todoroki commented, rising from the ground usingh
"Expected, but very beneficial to us," Yaoyorozu said as she spotted their other teammates emerging from the crowd, having used the sheets Momo had given to them before.
Iida was thrown upwards by Tsuyu and knocked Todoroki down from his ice pedestal. In the distance they hear new voices, "Oi! Bakugou!" It was Kirishima, Sero and Mineta, who were just now catching up.
"This is my battle! You three fuck off!" Bakugou yelled.
"Wouldn't it be better if we—"
"Are you three deaf?!"
"Going!"
Minoko watched as Bakugou sparked his hands, an explosion sending him forward. Yaoyorozu has one of the flags and the red one was still at the stand. Judging from his angle, Minoko could see he was aiming for the red one.
She lunged forward, left hand pulled on her necklace and threw it towards Bakugou, swapping it with Aoyama who crashed right into him. Her right hand grabbed the flag making it disappear into her inventory. "Yaomomo! The other flag!"
Yaoyorozu reached over to Minoko, the yellow flag in her fingertips when a block of ice intercepted it. The flag toppled over to the ground. Minoko reached to pick it up when Bakugou came blasting and snatching it away from her grasp.
"Why did he—" Yaoyorozu looked over to Todoroki who was still battling their classmates.
Shit,Minoko cursed in her mind when she came face to face with Bakugou. "I'll make this easier for both of us since time's ticking. If you hand over the flag now, maybe I'll just leave you with a couple of burns instead of blowing your face off."
"Your threats don't sound very heroic," Minoko said.
"Threats are never heroic," Momo said.
"COME OVER HERE HAIR CLIPS!" Bakugou was about to lunge at her when a rope pulled him back by the waist.
"Run away!" Momo exclaimed.
Minoko took this opportunity to look over the horizon to find the furthest place to swap at. Her eyes focused on the half destroyed pipe over at the Green Territory and taps herself. She ended up falling down on Todoroki's ice, making her slip downwards to the ground. She could hear Bakugou's explosions heading towards her, so she made another exchange with a flower pot in one of the building's window sills. She balanced herself as she crossed to the other windowsill, trying to find other items to swap with.
"WHERE ARE YOU HAIR CLIPS?!"
Minoko reached the side of the building and reached for the emergency exit ladder, making her way down. She ran through the cold area, enough that she used her final bracelet to exchange it with her cloak, trying to find shelter. She's traveled pretty far, so she hopes she has lost Bakugou by now.
She was proven wrong when she moved to back away from the dead end she ended up in and a kick landed on her back. She landed on the ground and hand held the back of her head, smacking it down. Minoko groaned as black spots faded away from her vision.Crap.She was quick to stand, and evident by the random items scattered on the ground, she did indeed pass out for a moment. She stood up, ignoring the dizziness she felt and followed Bakugou's lead—searching for the flag.
She didn't know how long they were digging around for the flag, but the loud horns made her realize that they'd been searching long enough. Behind her, she could hear loud cackling. Minoko turned and found Bakugou standing triumphantly with a maddening grin as he held all three flags in one hand.
"I win."
"No one won," Mr. Aizawa said.
"Hah?!" Bakugou exclaimed, "I clearly had all three flags!"
"That may be the case, Young Bakugou," All Might started, "but you are training as heroes. If this was a rescue situation, the heroes would not have achieved their goals until the civilians are safely out of the danger zone. In your case, you had captured all three flags, but you were still in enemy territory."
"It doesn't matter if you have all of them," Mr. Aizawa said. "As long as they are not securely away from the danger, your jobs aren't finished."
"Now, it is time for evaluation, any comments?" All Might asked.
"Bakugou should not have rushed in on his own, and ignored the plan!" Sero exclaimed.
"Yeah! If he stuck with the plan, our flag wouldn't have gotten captured in the first place!" Mineta protested, which was met by Bakugou's yells.
"Hagakure almost got our flag earlier," Ojirou said, "Understandable since she's invisible and very stealthy…I can't say the same for Uraraka though, she gave away their position."
"Yes, I have noticed that you kids are horrible at that," Mr. Aizawa said. "Stop announcing to the enemy that you have arrived. Even in training. You wouldn't want to carry that habit over to the field."
Seems to work just fine with All Might's 'I'M HERE!' though,Minoko thought.
"Todoroki made a good decision to stop Yaoyorozu from handing Kaeda the flag despite not being able to grab it for himself," Iida started. "It would be harder to get the flags back if they're in her inventory since the only way to do that is to knock her out. Her quirk allows her to travel long distances, and even on her own, Kaeda is very nimble."
Midoriya agreed, "If Kacchan hadn't been over at the Green Territory earlier, he would have probably taken a longer time looking for her and not have gotten the last flag. Todoroki's move would have given our team a better opportunity to grab a flag."
"You underestimating me?!"
"Very astute observations everyone," All Might clapped. "Aizawa and I have jotted down our own observations and will be handing them over to you sometime tomorrow along with your scores."
"The Sports Festival is still a few weeks away," Mr. Aizawa started, "I hope you use those observations to improve yourselves before then."
"That is all. Class dismissed!"
The next day, Minoko found her results on her desk. "All Might came by earlier and asked for Iida to distribute them," Kirishima, who was sitting backwards on Ojirou's seat, explained. She nodded and looked at the paper. It had '92%' on the upper right. She read through the short document.
Kaeda Minoko
Is very flexible and nimble, not to mention she can think on her feet, a good combination with her quirk. It allows her to escape tight situations and regain her footing. However, running away won't always be an option, therefore she needs to improve close combat since her quirk isn't suitable for long distance attacks. Knows how to pack a punch, but needs to improve technique to develop her own fighting style.
She couldn't help but sigh, the report was right, she knew how to punch due to all the sand bags back in the gym, but she's never really tried actual hand to hand combat before. She's watched people do it and has tried doing it on her own, but fighting someone who's actively dodging and trying to hit her back is a whole different story.
Minoko dropped her head on her table catching the attention of the redhead. "That bad?" He let out a halfhearted chuckle, taking the paper she was offering him and read it through. He let out a hum, "If you need help with close combat, I can try and train with you?"
Minoko's head shot up, making Kirishima move back to avoid getting hit on the chin, "Really?!" She gave him a hopeful look.
Kirishma grinned, offering a fist to her, "Yeah! What are friends for?"
"Definitely not this," Minoko muttered as she laid on the ground, panting while the redhead was hyping himself up ("GAHHH!").
It was after school, and the two had changed into their PE uniforms and headed for a nearby riverbank. The two decided to train there, under the bridge. "How the hell do you still have so much energy?" Minoko asked.
"Come on Kaeda! We only have a few weeks to prepare for the sports festival!" Kirishima jogged over to her, offering a hand, and pulling her up to a sitting position.
Grumbling, Minoko stood up, her hands in front of her, ready for another spar. Kirishima attacked first, a punch incoming from her left. Minoko stepped to the right, dodging, while her left leg went up for a kick. Kirishima blocked her attack with his arm, pushing it aside, making the girl stumble. Minoko stepped back, widening the distance between them. The two continued attacking back and forth and Minoko continued dodging Kirishima's attacks. She dodged another punch when Kirishima's other hand reached for her right arm, yanking it forward and letting her stumble straight to the ground. Kirishima pinned her arm behind her, making her unable to get up.
"You know you can block attacks, right?" Kirishima commented, getting off the girl.
"Isn't that, like, just gonna slow me down?" Minoko raised an arm to wipe the sweat off her forehead.
Kirishima crossed his arms, humming, "Well, yeah, sometimes, but it has advantages. Like how I blocked your kick earlier and took it as an opportunity to throw you off balance."
Minoko let out a hum of her own, "Yeah, okay," she stood up from the ground.
Kirishima grinned, "I'll teach you a few basic defense techniques."
The boy proceeded to show Minoko how to effectively block attacks, and so far she was somewhat getting it. Though, she needs to improve on her stance since the first punch she tried to block almost made her fly backwards.
In the distance they heard two voices calling to them. Sliding down the grass, Kaminari—who wanted to tag along, and Sero—who was dragged by Kaminari since he didn't want to be the only one not doing anything—waved around plastic bags. "Hey! We bought the snacks!" Kaminari said.
"Hell yeah!" Kirishima exclaimed, grabbing a water bottle that Sero held out and chugging it. "You two sure you don't want to join us?"
"Maybe another day," Sero said, "I don't exactly have extra clothes."
Kaminari raised an eyebrow, "Andtheydo?"
"Yeah, I always have a shirt in case I rip my uniform," Kirishma said.
Minoko stretched her body before shuffling through the bag Kaminari was holding, "You saw what's in my pocket dimension, I have a lot of stuff in there, includingclothes." She pulled out one of those convenience store shortcakes. "Thanks," she said in a sing-song tone before sitting down and enjoying her sweet treat.
"What about you, Kaminari?" Kirishima asked.
Kaminari shrugged, "Nah, if it's one on one, I can just zap them."
"You can't just rely on that ya know," Sero said, taking a seat beside Minoko who nodded her head in agreement.
"What if you're up against someone who's invincible to your quirk?" Minoko asked.
Kaminari scoffed, taking out a pudding cup from the plastic bag, "Like what?"
"A guy made out of rubber?" All three said.
"Like that exists…shit."
Kirishima let out a loud laugh, "You can join in tomorrow or something," he said, eyeing the setting sun "but we should probably start heading home for now." That said, Kirishima changed into a blue shirt, while Minoko went into her pocket dimension.
She rummaged around and settled on the first thing she saw, which was a green shirt with a small potted plant design with the words 'I'm rooting for you' on it. She changed out of her dusty PE pants and back into her U.A. skirt.Note to self, keep shorts and pants in here too,she said to herself.
"Oi! Kaminari! That'smyice cream sandwich!" Minoko hears Kirishima exclaim, once she was back to the real world.
"Oh come on, I bought it," Kaminari reasoned, running away from Kirishima.
"Yeah! Withmymoney!" Kirishima exclaimed, sliding on the ground and hitting Kaminari's feet, making the blond stumble. Kirishima sat up quickly and caught his unopened pack of ice cream sandwich.
"Oh, right, I have an ice cream sandwich too," Minoko said, looking over to Sero.
He handed her the plastic bag with a single ice cream sandwich inside. "Jeez, what was the point of changing into clean clothes?" Sero, who was watching the whole thing go down, eyed Kirishima's newly dirtied shirt.
"Well, it still looks better than what he was wearing earlier," Minoko said, watching Kaminari try to take a bite out of the ice cream sandwich. "Okay you two, let's get going," she said.
"Ah!" Kaminari exclaimed, his head turning towards her, "Kaeda! Can I haveyourice cream sandwich?"
"No!"
"But why?!"
"Home time! C'mon!"
Notes:
I hope you guys liked this chapter! One of the reasons why I wanted to write this is to write dynamics between bnha characters and Minoko, so expect more filler chapters in the future! Fun fact, pretty sure the teams made no sense, but I used a random name generator to make the teams actually randomized and just went with it T_T
Next chapter, we're having OVA 1: Save! Rescue Training!
Also! Someone asked about how big Minoko's pocket dimension is, but I can't really imagine what measurements look like, so I hope this will be enough to help visualize the room. Feel free to ask questions about her quirk!
TRIVIA!!
Minoko's pocket dimension is a square room big enough to house a zero pointer both vertically and horizontally, and still have a small extra space. It can fit a few buildings if she wanted to. It may seem small in her perspective because whenever she refers to the room, she's actually just focusing on one section of it where she keeps most of the stuff. She keeps the rest empty so that she has that space in case she needs to keep something really big.
