"I'm just going to go take a shower." She murmured as she left.

She briefly thought it'd be nice if Naru would take one with her again like they did when they were in each other's bodies. Even if it had been rather embarrassing she had kinda enjoyed it.

Entering the bedroom to collect her clothes, she chewed on her lip. Maybe she could go back and ask...no that would be too embarrassing, saying to someone you want to shower with them. Besides Naru would probably say no and then she'd have to face walking shamefully away again feeling like a big fool. Naru probably wanted some time to himself anyways.

She walked into the bathroom. Closing the door, Mai placed her clothes on the counter before beginning to strip. She turned the shower on and waited for the water to warm before stepping beneath the spray. The tension left her body as she did. She let out a sigh as she felt the water cascade over her. She took her time in the shower, wondering if she should just pretend she and Naru didn't have that talk.

She didn't hear the bathroom door open then close. The running water had blocked out the sound, plus she was too caught up in her thoughts. She also didn't notice the curtain get moved aside to admit her shower buddy. She noticed nothing until a pair of warm, strong arms wrapped around her and pressed her back against a firm chest and stomach. Startled, Mai couldn't help but jump at first. She also let out a shriek. She quickly turned around, her heart pounding against her chest. Naru stood there in all his glory, his hands still loosely on her hips.

"Naru..." Mai breathed.

"Who else would it be?" He asked with a smirk. His girlfriend just smiled up at him. She then embraced him in a hug.

"No one..." She mumbled. "Just you."

"So what was the shrieking and jumping for then?"

"I just wasn't expecting it." She replied, not bothering with the fact that she was hugging his naked—not to mention wet—body.

"I see. My apologies, I thought you had heard me enter." Naru said. Mai shook her head a bit. It made her nuzzle her face into Naru's chest. She was so glad Naru had decided to join her—she didn't think he would have if she asked him. For some odd reason she didn't feel the embarrassment she had last time despite the fact they were completely nude in front of each other in their own bodies this time. She couldn't really decide why she wasn't though.

She opted not to think about it and instead enjoy hugging Naru. She soon felt him wrap his arms around her also. His hands travelling from their original position on her hips to her lower back, pressing her more firmly against him. Mai tried not to blush when she felt 'something' press against her stomach, but she failed miserably.

"Mai, is everything..." Naru started to ask. "...oh..." He realized. Mai's forehead rested against his chest as she still tried to fight off the blush. Naru wasn't sure what to do. This had obviously now turned into a very embarrassing situation but he wasn't sure what action Mai would prefer him to take. He didn't have to wonder for very long though, because Mai suddenly let him go and twirled around under the shower's spray.

"I-I'm sorry. I apologize." He stammered as he too turned around. Mai smiled a bit at hearing him stutter. It made her love him more knowing she could fluster him. He does it to her enough to last a lifetime. She was happy he respected her boundaries though.

"It's fine." Naru could actually hear the smile in her voice. He didn't know whether she was mocking him or not. "It would have happened to me too..."

"But..." He started however Mai continued over him.

"...In fact if I remember correctly the last time we did this and our places were switched it did happen." Mai reminded him. "Come on, let's just continue our shower." She grabbed the shampoo and squirted some into her hand before turning and reaching up to rub it in Naru's hair. Naru waited a bit before he did the same to Mai. They both then paused, unsure of what to do next. 'I guess...I should do my own body...' Mai thought to herself.

She was surprised then when Naru grabbed some soap and a cloth and began doing it for her starting with her shoulders and moving downwards slowly and carefully as though he were worshipping her as he went. Mai bit her lip as she closed her eyes, enjoying feeling Naru's fingertips graze her bare back. She had never felt so wanted and cherished before. A small gasp of breath escaped her as he reached her lower back and the top of her hips. Then he slowly began trailing up her stomach and oh-so-close to her breasts.

A shiver of pleasure ran through her. Whether he was trying to make her feel this way intentionally or not she didn't know, but she loved it. She wanted to make him feel just as good by washing him. When Naru gently ran the cloth over her breasts, she let out a shuddering breath. Okay, that's it, it was his turn now.

"Mai, I wasn't finished." He softly chided as she took the cloth from him. She placed a finger over his lips to silence him before gently sweeping the soapy material over his collarbones then moving down to his chest.

"It's your turn right now..." She said in almost a whisper. She moved the cloth over his chest some more, gradually moving it lower to his stomach. She heard Naru take a sharp breath when she went a bit lower south. 'Oh, Little Naru wants to join in.' She mused to herself. She bit her lip again and glanced up at Naru. His eyes were closed and he had a hand on the wall of the shower to steady himself. She wondered how far she could go before—if—he would stop her. Should she be daring and try going further? She bit her lip. Only one way to find out...

She swept the cloth right over 'Little Naru' and back again. Naru hissed at the sensation. She darted her eyes up to his face and saw him biting his lips with his eyes scrunched closed. She repeated her action whilst keeping her attention on his face. A smile appeared on her lips when she heard him gave a throaty growl. She decided to try being a little more daring and ditched the cloth.

She was sure he wouldn't mind. She tentatively reached her hand out again. Quickly glancing up at Naru again, she saw that his eyes were still clamped shut. She kept her gaze on him as her hand finally made contact. Naru's eyes flew open as he gasped slightly. His eyes flicked down to where Mai was. She had a small blush on her face and her facial expression looked to be as if she was wondering whether or not this was alright with him.

In his opinion anything was alright with him as long as Mai was happy. He suddenly let out a moan when Mai swiped her thumb slowly over the head of his member. He fell back against the shower wall and breathed heavily, his hands clenched slightly into fists. Mai, feeling pleased with his reaction, decided to do it again. This time a throaty growl erupted from him as she completed her action. Naru's eyes fell on Mai again, and she saw that they flashed dangerously although it wasn't in a furious way. She daringly repeated what she had been doing. As she was about to do it again for the sixth time, Naru suddenly caught her wrist to stop her movements.

"Mai, continue and you'd better know what you are letting yourself in for." He said lowly. Mai stared up at him with wide eyes before swallowing thickly. She wasn't sure what to do, be devilish and continue or stop what she had been doing. Although if she continued then that would mean Naru would most likely lose control over himself—which he so vaguely implied. And she knew that would lead to that and she just didn't think either one was ready for it. Stop it was then. She got up from her crouched position. She smiled sheepishly as she avoided looking at Naru. In turn Naru gazed at her hungrily but kept himself in control. He couldn't lose control. If he did Mai would hate him and he couldn't bear that.

"Sorry..." He heard her mumble before she began to rinse the shampoo out of her hair. Sorry? What was she sorry for? If anything it was his fault for starting it.

"No, I'm sorry." Naru stated. Mai snapped her eyes open to look at him.

"Why? What for?" She asked.

"Well, I guess I was the one who started it so I should be the one who is sorry."

Mai gave a small laugh. "How do you think you started it?"

"Well I started washing you first..." He replied. Mai shook her head. For some reason or another she felt awfully brave for the last several minutes.

"Don't worry about it." It had kinda been fun to be daring anyway and if Naru was okay with it then she was. As Mai finished rinsing her hair, she told Naru he should do his also. They swapped places and Mai couldn't help but stare at Naru's butt. Luckily Naru didn't notice. If he had it probably would've boosted his ego.

Mai blushed when Naru moved a bit and averted her gaze elsewhere. The flex of Naru's lithe muscles underneath his skin was making her all hot and bothered. This wasn't good...not good at all. She might do something she would regret. Well...she was already done anyway really. She quickly exited the shower and grabbed a towel. She wrapped it tightly around her body before grabbing another towel to dry her hair with. She then left the bathroom. Her face still flared up, Mai leaned against the closed door. She really needed a moment to clear her head. Maybe she shouldn't have...touched him. That's what started it all despite what Naru had thought. Yeah, next time, if there was one, she would keep her hands to herself.

Mai leaned off the door and held on to her towel. She needed some time alone in order to compose herself and try and control her blush. 'Crap...I left my clothes in the bathroom though!' She panicked. 'Oh man, I'm going to have to either go around in a towel or go back in there and get them.' She might as well go get them...she didn't want Naru to think something was wrong. She took a deep breath before she re-entered the bathroom. As she did she heard Naru cut the shower off. He then stepped from the shower in all his glory. Mai blushed from her previous thoughts earlier and grabbed her night clothes. His voice stopped her as she made her way back out.

"Is something wrong Mai? You seem uncomfortable."

Mai smiled at him wholeheartedly. "I'm fine, I'm just tired is all." Naru didn't believe her but nodded anyway. "I'll be in the bedroom." She told him before leaving, her clothes in hand. Naru scratched his head before sighing and getting a towel. He dried off quickly and got dressed. He had decided to go with a pair of pajama bottoms this time as the sweats had felt too heavy for the weather the previous night. He would've preferred wearing nothing at all but he was conscious of Mai's discomfort regarding that.

Naru immediately went to the bedroom when he exited the bathroom. Mai was apparently still getting ready. She had yet to put a top on. Her chest was still bare. She still had her back towards him so she hadn't heard him come in yet. He felt like going over to her and running his fingers over her skin but he stopped himself. First of all she was already putting her shirt on and second of all he didn't need to start something he couldn't continue. Also he didn't want her to slap him or be mad at him.

"Do you want to go to bed now?" Naru asked her as he walked further into the room. She jumped slightly then turned around.

"Don't scare me like that." She said softly, but it was mostly to herself.

"Sorry, I thought you knew I was there." Naru said even though he knew that she hadn't known about his presence. Mai sighed and nodded. "So, do you want to go to bed now?" He asked again.

"Oh, um...I guess so. You don't have to if you don't want to though." She told him.

"Actually I am rather tired myself so I think I might turn in as well." He replied.

The short brunette nodded again before removing the towel that was on the bed. She placed it in the laundry basket. Then she went back to the bed and pulled back the sheets as Naru did the same. They both slid into the bed. Naru put the light out before lying down beside Mai. He tentatively wrapped an arm around Mai. In return she scooted closer to him and placed her arm on top of his. They both gave each other a squeeze from their positions the Mai placed her head on Naru's chest. Naru shifted under her a bit so her whole body was practically on top of him. It felt nice to be that close to Mai. After several minutes Naru felt Mai's breaths even out. She had already fallen asleep. He sighed and smiled. 'Typical Mai.' He squeezed her a little tighter. He then closed his own eyes as he felt the pull of sleep.
